[Criminal Minds] years before love
Chapter 101
Rossi's car was already approaching their destination, a remote suburban town with good law and order, simple membership, and hardly anyone on the street during working hours.
"Where is he."
Rossi looked over to see Jones huddled against the tires of the car, head buried between his knees.
"Aaron's car." Rossi recognized it immediately.
"Calm down. The support is already on the way, and the sniper will arrive soon." The companion who was braking reached out to pull him.
But Rossi quickly drew his gun and jumped out of the car, "Don't worry, I think Jones will cooperate."
And Jones was obviously startled by them, stood up in panic, raised his hands, "I, I don't want to do this. I don't want to hurt him."
Rossi stepped forward and grabbed his collar before he had time to think, "What are you doing?!"
"Jones, where is Agent Hotchner?" Another FBI also got out of the car and rushed over to try to hold down the angry Rossi while asking.
"Family."
"What?" Rossi pinned him completely to the car.
Jones pointed to his house tremblingly, "He's inside."
"Jones, what happened?" It took a long time for the companion to hold Rossi back, "Say it quickly, don't waste our time."
"I'm sorry, I really don't want to do this, I don't know how I... God, what have I done."
"Stop apologizing, Jones, and just tell us what you did," Rossi interrupted impatiently.
Jones managed to calm himself down, "I, Agent Hotchner was following me, but I had an appointment with Green, and I couldn't let him see him."
Jones looked at them in despair. "I put some medicine on him."
Rossi tightened the shirt in his hand, almost making it hard for him to breathe.
"I just hid him, I swear I didn't do anything else!" Jones yelled.
"Then Green came back, your conversation broke down, and then you left Aaron and him in the house and ran off alone?" The FBI agent interrupted his explanation while calling for support.
"He shouldn't have woken up this early," Jones gasped. "… He, he has a gun. He told me to leave! He told me to contact the bureau."
Rossi stared at him, a little surprised, "You mean you didn't seize his gun?"
Jones nodded in embarrassment, "I was too panicked to search."
Rossi stared into his eyes for a while longer, believed his words, and tossed him to his companion, "You're lucky you did what Aaron said."
"The sniper will be here soon, and I will follow your instructions." The person in charge quickly confirmed that there were no dangerous objects on him, and threw the door key to Rossi, then took out the handcuffs and locked Jones and pushed him into the car.
Rossi took one look at Jones and calmed down. "If he's not lying, put them on standby."
"Are you sure? Having a gun doesn't mean Hotchner can control the situation." The person in charge hesitated, "This is their territory, and Green has a gun too."
Rossi shook his head, "They handle economic cases, guns are not the first choice. And the cause of death in several cases is suffocation, no gunshot wounds, Green is obviously not used to wearing a gun at all times, he is not Aaron's opponent. We may have another victim , it would be much easier to get him to speak."
The person in charge looked at him for a while, and just said, "Your people, you decide."
"I'll check the situation." Rossi raised his gun and leaned over carefully.
"Be careful."
Rossi clung to the door, and the house had probably been treated in some way, and he could barely hear the sound inside. After hesitating for a moment, he carefully turned the key in the lock and slid the door open a crack.
There is no attack.
Then Rossi heard Hotch's voice, "Green, tell me now what you've been doing these days."
Calm, composed, gentle.
Rossi breathed a sigh of relief.
Hotch did have control, and he didn't have to rush in and create an accident to break that control.
So he knocked on the door.
The voices inside stopped.
"FBI." Rossi didn't raise his voice, "can you come in?"
"Come in." Of course Hotch recognized his voice, and his tense nerves finally relaxed, "There is no danger."
Rossi pushed open the door, and he saw Hotch's gun pointed at the man sitting alone on the sofa, "Benjamin Green?"
The other looked at Hotch, then at him, sighed, and raised his hands.
"Don't touch anything, put your hands where I can see them, and come here." Rossi gestured back for safety.
Green obviously understood that the situation was over, and he didn't intend to resist. He stood up and walked slowly towards him, allowing him to handcuff himself and push out the door, and was immediately controlled by more FBI who rushed up.
Rossi was still standing in the doorway, watching Hotch.
"D□□e?" Hotch asked suspiciously.
"How are you?"
"Of course." Hotch blinked, "Should I be fine?"
"..." Rossi didn't say anything, but took off his coat and handed it over.
Hotch finally lowered his head and glanced at himself. The torn shirt couldn't completely cover his body, and some marks looked very conspicuous. He pursed his lower lip, took it over and put it on silently, "That's not—"
And Rossi sighs, "Of course I do."
"Where is he."
