"Kirby Hall," Rossi yelled into the darkness, regretting that he hadn't brought everyone, before stepping aside.

However, there was no response.

"Hall, I know you thought there was nowhere to go." Rossi and Hotch exchanged glances, then continued loudly, "But there's no need to get there."

Still no response.

"..." Kim was about to say something, but Hotch stopped him sternly with his eyes.

"Hall, I know you're just trying to save your sister." Rossi's whole body was on guard, while Hotch stared inside without blinking, the gun in his hand ready to fire at any time.

"You grew up together, you never thought about leaving her or losing her, and suddenly one day she got sick. You wondered every day why it wasn't you and why it was her. You tried everything, the best medical care method, but it’s useless. Her health is still getting worse, and every time you visit, the doctor will tell you that there is no hope.”

"You pray to God, every day, every night, and you'd give anything you have for it. You've served him all these decades, you've trusted him so much."

Rossi paused for a while, seeing that there was still no response, he shook his head slightly and continued.

"Your God didn't respond to you, I think you are probably very disappointed. You are willing to abandon everything, even betray your faith, and turn to your most hated demons and devils. You start sacrificing animals to them to try to summon them , but they didn't show any signs, your sister is still dying day by day. You think it's because they are not satisfied with what you sacrificed, so you start killing people. After all, the sacrifices in those ancient legends and records are all It's a human sacrifice."

"You have been tempted by a demon, Kirby Hall." Rossi paused again.

But there was nothing in the darkness but echoes, and Rossi couldn't help but wonder if he was really not there.

"Hall, I think you know in your heart that you can't save your sister." Rossi gritted his teeth and continued, hesitating to say the next thing.

Hotch nodded at him, and he continued.

"Are you really doing this for her? No, Hall, you are only doing it for yourself. Do you dare to tell her about your thoughts and disgusting desires for her? Hall, dare you say that you really only Think of her as a sister? God will not forgive you."

"I do not have it!"

Finally, a voice close to rage appeared in the darkness, and Hotch rushed in without hesitation, and the gunshots rang out almost at the same time.

Then there was the sound of something falling to the ground.

Even Rossi froze for a few seconds.

Then he quickly raised his flashlight and gun and followed in to look inside.

On the ground were several layers of dried dark blood, neatly arranged fragments of corpses, traces of fire, and various knives, ropes, and other tools. There was also a gun that, judging from its angle and position, should have just fallen to the ground.

But without Kirby Hall, Rossi looked around nervously.

"Up," Hotch whispered, still holding his gun, his flashlight off, staring into the darkness.

Rossi moved the light of the flashlight upwards, and there was a spiral staircase along the wall, many of which had collapsed. Kirby Hall was up there, obviously wounded, leaning against the wall, and the injury couldn't be seen from his angle, but the bleeding should have been fairly quick, only the short time had soaked through his robes.

"He's trying to get on top of us," Hotch said softly, gesturing to the rail near the two above them.

Rossi frowned, glanced at Kim who was following behind the two of them, didn't express any opinion, just walked in with a flashlight in one hand and a gun in the other.

The old staircase rattled horribly.

Hotch stopped Kim and told him to wait below, and he followed behind Rossi, his gun on guard, his lips pursed.

Hall's injury was serious, he covered his belly with his hands and writhed, blood seeped out from between his fingers, soaking his clothes quickly.

Hotch's bullet hit his abdomen, judging from the speed and pain of the fluid seeping, it probably penetrated an organ.

"Kirby Hall, you've been arrested for multiple murders, you have the right to remain silent, and now everything you say will be used as evidence in court." Rossi's flashlight shone directly into his eyes.

And Hall turned his face away with a □□, didn't even have the time to raise his head, and rolled around intently.

"Hall, I'm just very curious why you're so sure they're going to show up, whether it's... gods or demons." Rossi squinted, staring at the figure on the ground still wrapped in priest's robes.

"Since Alexander Rotha was able to get their help back then, why couldn't I!" Hall stared up at them, panting for a long time before barely uttering these words full of resentment.

"Alexander Rotha?" Hotch frowned suddenly, and stepped forward, "Who is Alexander Rotha?"

"The master of this church." Hall's voice lowered, showing a hint of reverence.

Hotch bit his lip and said nothing more.Just watching Rossi handcuff him, tearing his own clothes and pressing the wound indiscriminately, there was a loud engine noise outside.

He heaved a sigh of relief, it seemed that Miller was at least not slow, and he got all the stolen goods, and Hall probably wouldn't make any excuses, and the rest had nothing to do with them.

Amidst the noise of the police rushing in, Rossi looked at him meaningfully, lowered his voice and said, "Aaron, you can see through the dark."
