[One Piece] Walk side by side
Chapter 25
Sara pinched the corner of her clothes and moved to Marco's side.
Marco sat and looked up at the little girl without saying a word.
Sara also knew that there seemed to be trouble today. Marco was here to do a task, and he definitely didn't want to be discovered by the other party. The other party knew about it without knowing it.
"Well, what should I do?" Sarah asked in a low voice.
"Either wait for someone to come, or run." Marco sighed.
"Eh?!"
The waiter who heard their conversation stood up, remembered the little girl's foot, and sat back hesitantly, "Don't try to run away, you can't escape making trouble in the territory of the Whitebeard Pirates."
"Is my meal ready?" Marco asked suddenly.
"What?!" The waiter felt that he had heard wrong.
"Has it been so long since the food we ordered?"
"Are you kidding me, do you still want to eat?!"
"Are you a restaurant?"
"Yes... yes."
"We are customers, right?"
"Okay... yes."
"Then bring the food first, we can't escape here anyway."
……
When the guards spontaneously formed by the residents appeared, they saw the so-called troublemakers eating and drinking, and the waiter looked at them with a depressed face.
"You're kidding!" a young man with short yellow hair whispered.
Sara recognized the young man who was talking to Marco at the bar, swallowed the food in her mouth, and stabbed the person next to him who was eating seriously.
"Hey, Simon."
"Captain Marco, the troublesome pirate is...you?" Simon was in disbelief.
Marco looked at a group of stunned people and was speechless.
"Well, it's me." Sara felt that the responsibility still had to be borne. Anyway, Marco would not do anything to her.
"You...cough, you are?" Ramon retracted what he wanted to ask, and had dinner with Captain Marko, and he should be someone he knew.
"I'm his friend." Sarah patted Marco on the shoulder.
Marco turned his head to look at Sara. The little girl looked determined, but the hand on his shoulder still shook.
"Well, she's my friend, it's a misunderstanding, and I'll pay for it."
"Huh? You still have to lose money." A group of people looked at Ramon, making Ramon think he had said something wrong.
"Of course the money has to be paid, even Captain Marko has to pay." Simon insisted.
"Okay... okay." Ramon felt that it was better not to interrupt.
"Waiter, two more plates of meat, huh? Waiter?" Marco didn't hear the answer, turned his head, and saw the waiter who had been arguing with them retreated behind the guards, with an expression we didn't know .
"..."
"Go, Captain Marco won't trouble you." Simon quickly pushed the man out.
"...Captain Marco, I'm very sorry, I didn't know it was you."
"It's okay, two more glasses of wine and a glass of milk, oh, how much is it, you can figure it out, and I'll give it to you together later."
The waiter breathed a sigh of relief, "The money for evading orders?"
"...I'll give it." The waiter was really dedicated.
"Okay, wait a minute~" The waiter left with a satisfied face.
"...I don't want milk," Sara suggested in a low voice.
Marco pretended he didn't hear it, "It's all right."
"It's okay, it's okay." The guards quickly replied.
Simon glared at the man, "Captain Marco, where are those troublesome pirates?"
"I haven't gone yet."
"Ah? Not... haven't gone yet." Simon broke into a cold sweat, miserable.
"What's wrong?" Marco wondered.
"No, it's okay, there's nothing wrong, then we'll go back first, you take your time." Simon hurriedly called a group of reluctant people to leave.
"Hey, Sara, I'm going to take care of Adolf if there's nothing else to do. They haven't eaten yet." Ramon felt guilty.
"Oh, okay, you guys don't leave today."
"It is estimated that we will stay for a while, we are all drunks on board."
"That's good."
Ramon hurried away.
"What's the rush?" Sara complained.
"Maybe I don't want to pay." Marco swallowed the last bite.
"You think everyone is the same as you." Sarah licked the milk on her lips.
"Okay, then when do you plan to pay back the money?"
"...Are you still going to fight?"
On the other side, Ramon, who had walked a long way, breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed that he had saved a lot of money.
The two who had lost money after eating left after being sent off by the waiter with a happy face.
"Where can I find them?"
"There's a pub where Simon says they spend every afternoon."
"Where is the tavern?"
Marko pointed to the front, and Sarah looked up, um, there was nothing wrong with it, the name was a tavern, and she looked back at the restaurant she had just left behind, and opened her mouth, not knowing what to say.
The two opened the door and walked in. The environment of this tavern was much different from before. Cursing and cheering abounded. They saw Sarah and someone whistling.
When the little girl saw the person approaching, she was frightened and grabbed Marco.
Seeing Sarah's reaction, the bartender smiled happily, "Sir, what do you want to drink?" The bartender blinked.
"I'm looking for someone."
"You can also look for someone while drinking." The hostess moved closer.
Sarah watched the woman in revealing and heavy makeup approach, blushing and took a step back and bumped into Marco.
Marco held the little girl who was about to back up with his hands, "Does the Panda Pirates know?"
"Ah, they didn't come today." The hostess looked at the shy little girl with a smile and continued, "This is the first time you've come to this kind of place?"
Seeing this strange smile, Sara no longer felt nervous. She looked back at Marco before replying in a low voice, "The second time."
The hostess touched Sarah's left cheek with her fingers with red nails, and said with a smile, "It's so cute."
Marco could feel his men's shoulders stiffen.
Sarah looked at the woman who left and let out a sigh of relief.
"Let's go." Marco let go of his hand.
"Oh, oh." Sara returned to God.
The two walked to the tavern on the east side of the town.
Marco stopped outside the door and didn't go in.
"Let's go."
"Let's go to the back door."
Sara followed with a confused look on her face.
The two stood at the back door for a while, when someone inside opened the door and came out.
"Simon."
"Ah, Ma...Captain Marco, what a coincidence." Ramon was taken aback.
"Unfortunately, I'm waiting for you."
"Haha, why doesn't Captain Marco go through the main entrance?"
"Wouldn't it be impossible to see you if you walk through the main entrance, so stop talking nonsense, where's the person?"
"Who is it?" Simon swallowed.
Marco looked at him without saying a word.
"Maybe it's because of some news..."
Marco nodded but remained silent.
"Maybe because they messed with someone, they were warned that someone was coming to clean them up."
"So what about people?"
"I don't know either." Simon's eyes flicked.
"...Go find it, I'll only stay here for two days, and I'll leave early in the morning the day after tomorrow."
"Yes!" Simon turned and ran away.
The afternoon sun shone on the two of them.
Marco sat and looked up at the little girl without saying a word.
