Stupid Odin

#10 - The one who killed you, Towns Paulson

Facing a giant whose size far exceeded his own, the methods he could employ were limited.

Thanos didn't try to replicate some 'David's sling that defeated Goliath,' because that was simply a delusion.

Who would dare guarantee that mere ropes could restrain a giant of immense strength? Who would dare say that a flying stone could kill a thick-skinned giant?

Thanos's actions just now were merely a spontaneous idea.

If he had to compare it to something, perhaps it was more like an Alien playing with internal explosions.

Ymir being so ruthless towards his own injured leg, smashing his own calf with a club, was a result Thanos truly hadn't expected.

Ymir's stinking, enormous bloody hole now smelled with a kind of fragrant aroma, giving Thanos the illusion that his divine body's instinctive craving for this flesh and blood had already surpassed his sense of taste.

Inside the bloody hole, there was even a sense of returning home.

He forcefully suppressed his craving for Ymir's flesh and blood, and passed through the back of the bloody hole.

Luckily, he ran fast; if he had been two seconds slower, he would have been smashed together with Ymir's leg.

The berserk frost giant progenitor was terrifying; he instinctively searched for Thanos, and while he was rolling madly inside this valley that was neither too big nor too small for him, he really almost caught Thanos several times.

Thanos used his advantage of being smaller and faster, and each time he was able to dodge Ymir's attacks in the raging winds he stirred up.

Ymir didn't notice that at the entrance to the small valley he had entered, a wide ice wall constructed of frost was taking shape.

The slowly growing ice wall began to block the massive amount of blood that should have overflowed from the valley, forming an exaggeratedly large blood pool.

“Thump! Thump! Thump!” The fast and agile challenger kept shuttling and jumping on the blood pool, and from time to time, ice flowers or lightning splashed on the surface of the pool.

Countless wisps of bloody mist, under the traction of a mysterious force, chased after the challenger's 'tiny' body, constantly burrowing into his divine body.

Wherever Thanos went, he purified all the blood-colored areas he passed into almost colorless icy water.

In the deep layers, the blood pool grew, while the icy water continuously overflowed the ice wall, spilling onto the plain.

Ymir fought like a trapped beast, Thanos pulled the strings to the limit.

Relying on the huge difference in agility between the two sides, Thanos continued to inflict more wounds on Ymir.

After a fifteen-minute fierce battle, the dignified frost giant progenitor had almost no good skin left on his body.

All that could be seen were terrifying wounds more than a meter deep.

At this moment, another heavy blow from Ymir was induced by Thanos, and it heavily struck his already pierced right leg.

This time, in fact, Ymir didn't use too much force; after breaking one leg, all his weight was pressed on this injured leg, and this club was just the last mis-strike that crushed the giant progenitor.

In any case, he had broken both of his legs.

Originally, he still had one last chance, which was to sit obediently without moving, and rely on his powerful self-healing ability to slowly restore his legs.

It was hateful that this little bug Thanos made him too disgusted, and Ymir, losing his mind in anger, frantically flipped his body, causing the first broken left leg to simply tear apart.

“Ahhh!”

A trapped beast is terrifying.

Especially when it's a super giant hundreds of meters tall.

Every time Ymir turned over, every time he struck wildly, it could make the whole world tremble.

Thanos used ice daggers to shoot Ymir's eyes several times.

At first, he wasn't sure how much this would affect Ymir's eyesight, but now it seems that Ymir was mostly blind.

This frost giant progenitor blindly waved his arms, bombarding everything within his attack range, even including himself.

In extreme pain, Ymir even vaguely felt that Thanos had once again burrowed into his body wound like a large rat, desperately tearing at his flesh.

The pain brought to him by all parts of his body caused him to lose his judgment.

Sometimes, the violent impact of Ymir's back against the rock wall of the valley caused landslides or the fall of a large number of giant ice blocks, which attracted his attention.

Thanos had stopped attacking; he just stood quietly on the other side of the blood pool, silently continuing to draw strength from the blood of this giant progenitor.

Thanos's figure gradually grew larger, as if gradually transforming from an infant into a true Titan giant.

He was surrounded by blood energy with frost attributes.

Each time he inhaled, he inhaled a large amount of red mist, and when he exhaled, it was a white cloud of frost.

More powerful power filled his body, and the giant's bloodline could almost dominate his entire divine body.

He didn't choose to continue absorbing.

Enough!

Excessively absorbing the blood of the giant progenitor would have unpredictable consequences.

If he abandoned the most core Asgardian bloodline and turned himself into a giant with only a huge body and brute strength, then it would be a loss greater than the gain.

Thanos suddenly caught sight of two approaching familiar figures, he smiled, and remotely made a silent gesture to Odin and Vili.

“Shhh!”

He beckoned.

Odin led his third brother, tiptoeing over, and followed Thanos to soak half of their bodies into the blood pool, while looking in surprise at Ymir, who was covered in wounds and still jumping madly.

“Big brother, we are ready to continue fighting.”

Thanos glanced at Odin and found that the figures of these two guys had soared to 6 meters high.

He smiled and shook his head: “Foolish brothers, there is no chance for you to play here anymore.”

“Ah?” Odin couldn't hide the shock on his face, and lowered his voice: “Is Ymir about to die?”

“Yes.”

For dying prey, a truly excellent hunter will quietly watch from afar, waiting for the prey to bleed to death.

And for a blind giant, any finishing move at this time would be the best guide for him.

Thanos did almost nothing, just watched Ymir bleed continuously; if Ymir approached, Thanos would summon an ice dagger in the opposite direction and give Ymir a blow.

This giant progenitor, who could only move half of his body, would roll and crawl to the other side to hunt down that non-existent enemy.

How long has it been?

Ten minutes? Thirty minutes? Or an hour?

Thanos couldn't remember.

The frost giant progenitor in front of him, who could be described as towering like a mountain, finally gradually lost his ability to move.

Ymir was panting heavily, and the breath exhaled from his constantly bleeding mouth was neither cold nor hot.

His soul was still angry, but his voice was weak: “The guy who killed me! Tell me your name—”

Odin grabbed Thanos's arm and anxiously dissuaded him: “Big brother, don't. He will curse you!”

Thanos fully urged the power in his body, and his figure was rapidly growing larger.

Ten meters, twenty meters, fifty meters!

Even if he couldn't become as huge as Ymir, his figure had already surpassed the limit of Bor.

At the last moment, he stood majestically in front of Ymir's remains and said proudly: “The one who kills you is Thanos, son of Bor!”
