The Admiral of Hogwarts

#2 - Nice to meet you, my admiral.

Actually, Hugo realized something was wrong the moment he reached into the blanket. After all, he shouldn't have a phone on him right now. In this era, even the first-generation brick-like mobile phones were rare, let alone the smartphones he used in his previous life.

But unexpectedly, his hand inside the blanket really did bump into something hard. And when he took this hard object out, he was surprised to find that it was the phone he had with him when he had the car accident.

"What is this? A superpower or magic?" Hugo looked at the phone in his hand, his face filled with disbelief. After all, it was impossible for such a phone to exist in this era. After parting the curtains in front of the hospital bed and seeing that no one was paying attention, he focused his attention on the phone in his hand.

After carefully checking the external condition of the phone, he pressed the power button with a slightly trembling thumb. With a slight vibration, the phone screen lit up.

Hugo looked at the phone screen with excitement, but after five minutes, the phone remained the same, with the white screen unchanged, looking as if it had crashed.

After waiting another three minutes, Hugo cautiously tapped the phone, which was still unresponsive. As a result, the phone screen suddenly turned blue, and a large number of characters, both familiar and unfamiliar, quickly scrolled across the screen, while the phone vibrated continuously.

"Damn it, is it broken?" Seeing this scene, cold sweat immediately broke out. After all, this phone was likely his golden finger, and if it broke, it would be really troublesome.

Just as he was examining the phone back and forth, a crackling sound of electricity suddenly came from the phone. Hearing this sound, Hugo immediately turned the phone over so that the screen faced him. To his surprise, a delicate white arm, only the size of his finger, was extending from the now pure blue screen.

"Sadako!" Hugo's eyes widened when he saw this arm, but he was reluctant to drop the phone in his hand. After all, this phone was very likely his golden finger, and what was the difference between a transmigrator without a golden finger and a salted fish? So, in order not to be a salted fish, Hugo endured the fear in his heart, held the phone in his hand, and stared intently at the phone screen.

Of course, this wasn't purely because of his bravery. The fact that it was daytime and that the hand was very small were the main reasons why Hugo was able to remain so calm.

"Admiral, please help me! This barrier is too difficult to break through!" Just as the owner of this small arm poked her head out of the screen, revealing her messy silver hair, this "female ghost," who looked more and more like Sadako, let out a mature female voice that completely contradicted her image.

"What's going on?" Hugo frowned. He originally thought that the situation might develop in the direction of a horror movie, but now it seemed that this was not the case.

"May I ask who you are?" Seeing that this little guy who crawled out of the phone screen seemed to be able to communicate, Hugo took a deep breath and asked.

"My name is Victory. I am the Victory-class ship-of-the-line. I am very happy to meet you in this world, my Admiral," she said, and the little fellow, who looked like a female, raised her head.

Unlike the terrifying and ferocious face of Sadako, what appeared before Hugo was a large, amethyst-like beautiful eye. He could even see a small beauty mark beside the eye.

However, when she used her other hand to brush away the messy silver hair that covered the right side of her face, Hugo realized that her right eye was covered by a black eye patch. But even so, it did not affect her beautiful appearance in the slightest. At least, from Hugo's point of view, the appearance of this young woman had surpassed that of all the women he had known in both his lives.

From her upper body that was revealed from the screen, she seemed to be wearing a black military uniform with gold trim. At the same time, there was a beautiful ruby brooch on her collar. This very special dress, as well as her previous address to Hugo, and her appearance, quickly made Hugo think of something.

"Aren't you from that slightly outdated ship girl game on my phone..." Hugo stared at the little guy, who was about the size of a figurine, and said, but before he could finish speaking, she waved her hand with great momentum and interrupted him.

"You're right, and you're wrong," the little person said, staring at Hugo's eyes with her purple eye. "To you, that was indeed a game, but to us now, that's not necessarily the case."

"--Okay, whatever you say." Hugo was stunned by this answer. He originally wanted to say that a game is just a game. But considering that he was now in this world with magic, it was very reasonable that many things were different from his previous life.

"It's so good that you can explain this clearly, my Admiral." Victory was very satisfied that Hugo could accept the situation so quickly. Then, she grabbed the edge of the phone with both hands, raised her small face, and showed a pitiful expression. "Now that you know who I am, can you pull me out first?"

"Okay, no problem." Considering the fact that the little guy could climb out without his help and her current friendly attitude, Hugo placed the index finger of his left hand in front of her for her to grab, and then pulled her out of the screen little by little.

"I'm really sorry to let you see me in such a mess." After coming out of the screen, Victory quickly tied her messy hair into a bun and straightened the military uniform on her body. Then, she said to Hugo in a slightly apologetic tone, "As an excellent Royal Navy officer, this really shouldn't have happened."

"Okay, can you tell me what's going on?" Hugo asked after seeing that the other party had gotten rid of the previous embarrassment. He really didn't understand how the paper dolls from his previous life's mobile phone game could come to life and run out of the phone.

"Congratulations, my Admiral, you have been chosen by Alaya and Gaia of your homeland." The ship girl, who seemed to be very serious, suddenly said something silly.

"Don't joke around. Since you can recognize my identity, you should know that I'm not the age I appear to be on the surface," Hugo said with a slight upward curve of his lips. "I've passed the chuunibyou age of loving to dream."

"But what I said is true," Victory said with a serious face. "My appearance here is really related to the two great beings, Alaya and Gaia, of our homeland."
