The Bard at Hogwarts

Chapter 65 Hermione's Instructions

Professor Sprout's explanation was like a stone thrown into a quiet lake, causing ripples in Ino's heart.

After a brief thought, he quickly thought of the ice-blue rose, but the berries buried in the pot were clearly the berries he had collected.

One is the wild grass growing in the valley, and the other is the flowers blooming in the castle. It is unlikely that the two are connected.

For a while, Ino couldn't figure it out, but after learning the correct planting method, he was very happy.

"Thanks for your help, Professor Sprout!"

Hearing this, Professor Sprout smiled and waved his hand:

"It's okay. If you have any questions about planting in the future, you can come to me. Don't worry, I welcome every student at Hogwarts who loves herbal medicine."

Hufflepuff's tolerance was perfectly reflected at this moment.

After verifying the answer, Ino also picked up the pottery basin on the table and left the greenhouse with brisk steps. After all, Professor Sprout had already started preparing for the next herbal medicine class.

Follow the castle walls all the way.

However, as he was about to turn the corner, his eyes inadvertently caught a familiar figure.

Hermione was standing alone not far away, her head lowered, and she was concentrating on kicking the gravel on the ground with her toes.

He seemed to be waiting for someone, and seemed a bit careless on the whole. Every time the stones kicked out, they drew an arc in the air, and then fell on the lawn not far away, making a slight sound.

Seeing this, Ino walked over.

"What's going on, Miss Granger? You're spending your perfect time not reviewing your homework, but instead wandering around here. You know the final exams are in less than five weeks."

Hearing the familiar voice coming from her ears, Hermione raised her head instantly, and then a surprised smile broke out on her face.

"I've been waiting for you for a long time! And I've already reviewed it, but you, on the other hand, haven't been able to see me lately. If we hadn't been in class together often, I would have thought you were hurt by... that person."

Although it was a joke, there was deep concern in his words.

No name was mentioned, but he knew who Hermione was talking about.

"Sometimes, what you see is not the truth, and what you understand is just the tip of the iceberg floating on the water..."

Before Ino could finish speaking, Hermione snatched the words away, and then, as if a switch had been triggered, she began to recite:

“You can never truly understand a person unless you walk in his shoes; consider things from his perspective, but when you walk through his past path, you even feel sad to breathe... …”

"From To Kill a Mockingbird, a book I've read."

Hermione raised her little head proudly, as if she was waiting for praise.

After a moment, he seemed to have thought about something again, and then warned him tirelessly: "But you really have to be careful about Snape this time. I already have conclusive evidence."

"Okay, okay! I will stay away from Snape." Ino sighed softly and shook his head helplessly.

Hermione at this stage is really a jerk and accepts death.

So he didn't plan to say anything anymore. Quirrell would teach Hermione a lesson.

"Eno, believe me! What I say is true. And even if everyone else deceives you, I will not deceive you."

Hermione slowly raised her head, her eyes sparkling with sincerity, and there was a hint of shyness in her eyes that could not be concealed.

"Let me tell you a sound." Facing the stubborn Hermione, he planned to help Quirrell deepen his class education.

"That voice comes from our own hearts. It is not Shakespeare and cannot speak unforgettable lines. But the heart always tells us bluntly what is right and what is wrong, when to leave and when to leave. Go to..."

"So, Hermione! Trust your heart, don't believe what you see."

Ino looked up at the castle. Standing near the greenhouse and looking at the main building of the castle, it was completely different from what he saw standing on the shore of the black lake. The gap between the two was really big.

"Yes! I believe you. I will think carefully and listen to my inner voice."

Hermione spoke softly, but you could always hear the solemnity and seriousness in her tone.

"That couldn't be better!" Ino looked away from a distance.

Throughout the seven stories, he has always admired Hermione for her wisdom in times of crisis, courage without hesitation, and loyalty to her friends.

It is true that Hermione also has many shortcomings, but... who can have no shortcomings?

The two of them stayed quietly like this.

After a while, Hermione seemed to remember something and suddenly asked:

"Do you have any plans for the summer vacation? My dad said at Christmas that he would plan a trip to France during the summer vacation, but I don't want to go."

Summer vacation arrangements?

Suddenly hearing this, Ino was also a little confused. He originally planned to go abroad to buy flying carpets, but after communicating with Malfoy, he probably knew that Europa was unlikely to be sold.

If you really want to buy a flying carpet, maybe you can only go to countries like Egypt or Türkiye.

Although many thoughts came to his mind, the fact was that he really had no plans for the summer vacation.

Thinking of this, Ino didn't intend to hide it.

"I don't have any plans at the moment. I'm just going to stay in Hogsmeade during the Christmas holidays, and maybe go to Diagon Alley on the way, because I plan to buy a broomstick."

"I'm not going to France anymore. Can I accompany you to choose a broom, okay? And...I haven't been to Hogsmeade either. They said it's beautiful there and I want to see it."

Hermione spoke her truest thoughts in an instant.

But she quickly realized that this seemed a bit unreserved, but she couldn't take back what she said, so she lowered her head again and stopped talking.

Hidden by her thick brown hair, no one could see her face clearly.

On the other side, Ino noticed Hermione's change and probably guessed the reason. It was just the traditional reserve and shyness of English girls.

But he wasn't going to tease Hermione about this, lest the little lion end up getting angry.

"Watch it during the summer vacation. I will write to you. If you don't go to France, then let's take a tour of Hogsmeade together."

Hearing this, Hermione changed from her previous quiet state and became full of energy again.

"Okay! Then we have an agreement! And I also plan to buy an owl, which can be exchanged for 30 Galleons at Gringotts this year. If I save a little, I will be able to save enough money next year."

After hearing Hermione's words, Ino almost laughed out loud. Are you still thinking about saving money in the second school year? Even if it doesn't cause famine, it's a whole series of best-selling novels by popular authors.

And it was obvious that Lockhart had done some research. Apart from other necessary items, his books could basically spend up to 30 Galleons per year for new Muggle students.

Thinking of this, Ino said:

"I'll exchange it for you. Although it won't be much, it's still 50 galleons."

As for whether Hermione had money, he wasn't worried at all.

Her father is a dentist who runs a private practice. What Hermione lacks is not pounds. What she lacks is the amount to exchange for galleons.
