Gu Tianmu was still leaning back against the sofa opposite Nalan Jing. Perhaps due to his back injury, he leaned slightly to the side.

Ye Yuwei tried to stand in Gu Juexi’s embrace, but he grabbed her hands swiftly.

He didn’t let go of her hand, so how could she let go of his?

Gu Juexi stared at Ye Yuwei intently, tempted to unplug Ye Yuwei’s earphones.

He didn’t anticipate such a major twist to the incident. Initially, he thought that tackling Wen Lan would end this matter, but the truth was more heart-wrenching and unexpected.

Ye Yuwei stopped his hand from removing her earphones. She wanted to keep on listening to the revealing of the truth.

“Then they took the video away. What they were going to do with the video was beyond Didi’s control. Did anyone give her justice for the humiliation she suffered? No one,” Nalan Jing said with a scornful smirk on his face.

“Later, she became pregnant, which drove Ye Shu crazy. He even thought about committing suicide with her, but she was very calm and more reasonable than anyone. She knew that I wasn’t you, she knew it from the beginning that the person who treated her so well wasn’t you, but she played along with me because if she didn’t, she wasn’t sure what else Wen Lan would do to Wen Jie.
