Xin Ya opened the door. Before she could react, the woman standing outside the door slapped her straight on the face.

“It’s this little b*tch,” whined Huang Jiaojiao in grievance immediately after landing the slap. As she said it, her hands moved to hold onto Qian Yikun’s mother’s arms. It was as if she was not the one who had hit Xin Ya.

However, after saying that, Huang Jiaojiao looked at Xin Ya—whom she had slapped—and realized that she had hit the wrong person. However, although she realized that she got the wrong person, Huang Jiaojiao would never admit her mistake.

Qian Yi Kun pulled Xin Ya back with one hand. When he saw the person standing at the door, he frowned. “Mom, why are you here?”

“I’ve come to see who you’re hiding in your house. This is the girl that you’ve taken a liking to? How can she be compared to—” Before Qian Yikun’s mother could finish her sentence, she saw the woman who was walking toward her with a hand pressed on her chest. Qian Yikun’s mother paused and found herself unable to continue her sentence.

Mo Fei placed her hands on Xin Ya’s shoulders. Looking at Xin Ya’s face that had started to swell, Mo Fei’s face turned stone cold. “Who hit you?”

The coldness in her voice was so piercing that Huang Jiaojiao shivered and involuntarily cowered behind Qian Yikun’s mother.

Mo Fei raised her head in a flash and glared at them with a gaze that could kill.

She had witnessed too many fights between wealthy families, but today was not the day for them to touch Mo Fei.

Mo Fei might be injured, but she was not dead yet.

Her good-looking eyes were filled with a viciousness that could very well devour others. The moment Mo Fei raised her hand, Qian Yikun reached out and grabbed her wrist. “That’s my mom. Don’t you dare hit her.”

Mo Fei stared at Qian Yikun silently. Qian Yikun swung her wrist away. “Xin Ya, bring her back and let her lie down.”

Xin Ya quickly responded and held Mo Fei’s arm. “Mrs. Qian, let’s go in and rest first.”

“Mrs. Qian?” Qian Yikun’s mother was obviously shocked by the honorific.

Huang Jiaojiao continued to hide behind Qian Yikun’s mother, puppy-eyed. She looked as if Mo Fei had slapped her.

“Auntie, it’s this woman. She humiliated me yesterday!” Huang Jiaojiao sobbed like a wife who had been bullied by her husband’s mistress.

“Yikun, what’s going on?” Qian Yikun’s mother was still in shock. How could she not know that his son was already married?

“Mom, I’ll explain this to you in the future. If there aren’t more pressing matters, you should go home first,” Qian Yikun said in a low voice. He did not want to create unnecessary trouble before the matter with Mo Fei was resolved.

“Auntie, look! Yi Kun has been bewitched by this vixen. He wasn’t like this in the past.” Huang Jiaojiao continued in a sweet, pity-inducing voice, “Just from a single glance, it’s obvious that this woman isn’t the respectable kind.”

Huang Jiaojiao’s voice was a little shrill, so sharp that it was hurting Mo Fei’s ears.

“And look at her! How is she worthy of Yikun?”

Huang Jiaojiao’s shrill voice and Mo Fei’s slap resonated loudly in the living room.
