"Then should we reinforce our manpower? After all, he sounds important," Spider-Man 2099 asked.
“Of course.” Yang Le nodded.
"However, I don't suggest doing so, because I've already had Franklin guard them. Sending more people is just a waste of manpower."
The reason Yang Le didn't bring the Miraculous Twins was to have them hold down the fort and protect important people. After all, the ritual couldn't be performed without any of the three special spiders.
“Gathering supernatural powers?” Zhang Parker asked.
Yang Le didn't speak, but simply nodded.
“That’s great. It’s reassuring to have Franklin around.” The other Spider-Men also breathed a sigh of relief. With a big shot guarding the fort, they didn’t need to worry.
After all, if Franklin couldn't stop them, there was no point in them going.
“Don’t get too happy too soon.” Zhang Parker interrupted everyone's conversation. “Our top priority now is to find the remaining two special guys before the Inheritors do, and preferably not hand over any of them to them.”
“Octavius is right.” Spider-UK nodded in agreement.
“We need to send someone to the 616 universe to bring Kane and Cindy over and protect them.”
“I’ll go!” “Count me in!” “Me too!”
The Spider-Men eagerly volunteered, none of them being afraid of death and always jumping at the chance to take on a mission.
Penny looked at Peter from Earth-616 beside her and asked, “Aren’t you from the 616 universe? Don’t you know those two people?”
“According to the spider who found me, I’m from Earth-616B(616B: Earth number designation).” 616B Peter scratched his head. “That one letter makes a big difference.”
“We don’t need too many people.” Zhang Parker signaled the Spider-Men not to get excited.
“Too many Spider-Men might attract their attention. That universe doesn’t have a Spider-Man with cosmic power guarding it.”
“Looks like you already have the right candidate in mind.” Spider-UK inquired.
Zhang Parker didn’t answer, but instead looked at Yang Le, the meaning of which was self-evident.
“Looks like you and I are on the same page.” Yang Le said, agreeing that he was the best choice. Without the spider totem, he definitely wouldn't attract the Inheritors' attention.
As for why Yang Le didn't directly attack the Inheritors' lair, it was because of their special nature. The Inheritors themselves also had totem power. Their totem was called the vampire totem, which could absorb all power. In the original story, even Spider-Man with cosmic power was completely drained by the patriarch Solus, turning into a dried corpse.
This forced Yang Le to be cautious. He knew that was cosmic power, which was considered top-tier in Marvel. So, to be safe, Yang Le decided to gather all three special spiders first before considering a big fight.
Although Zhang Parker didn't know as much information as Yang Le, he came to a similar conclusion and felt it was better to be safe. Moreover, the Mechanical Spider had said that Yang Le was strong and had defeated two Inheritors alone before. He could basically handle any danger he encountered, making him the best candidate right now.
However, even the strongest person could have limitations, and Zhang Parker never put all his eggs in one basket. So, he decided to assign a few more people to Yang Le.
“It just so happens that you guys from Earth-65B(65B: Earth number designation) can go together. You have the fewest spiders and are also quite strong.” Zhang Parker said.
“Great minds think alike.” Yang Le smiled and extended his right hand to shake Zhang Parker’s hand. Zhang Parker frowned, but eventually shook it. It could only be said that Peter’s memories and Anna had changed him a lot. In the past, shaking hands would have been impossible.
“Let’s not delay. Let’s set off quickly.” Yang Le looked at Spider-UK, who immediately handed over a spider bracelet, which was their teleportation device.
Under Spider-UK's guidance, Yang Le operated the bracelet, and soon a portal opened.
Yang Le waved for everyone to follow, and then took the lead into the white portal.

“Splash!”
With a splash, Daemos fell out of the culture pod and crashed to the ground.
He subconsciously touched his forehead. It had been a long time since he had died. He had even forgotten the feeling of death. Relying on centuries of devouring, he had thought that he would never experience that feeling again until the spider totem disappeared.
“You woke up slowly this time, my brother.”
The familiar voice was that of Daemos’ only family member who he didn’t find annoying. Although he wouldn’t say he liked him, he was at least better than the other family members.
“How long was I asleep, Jennix?” Daemos asked, standing up and taking the clothes from the other's hand.
“One minute longer than last time.” Jennix stood respectfully beside Daemos.
Unlike the other family members, he was weak and not suitable for hunting. He generally managed the family’s logistics and technology, so he could only fill his stomach with the prey brought back by others. He was naturally respectful to the eldest son, Daemos.

“Is that so.” Daemos put on his clothes and walked out of the culture room.
“Is Father home? I have something I want to tell him.”
“Father is of course home. He is waiting for dinner in the dining room.” Jennix followed behind Daemos.
“Is that so. It seems like he might be disappointed this time.” Daemos said.
“Yes, Botha and Brix didn’t bring back any prey either.” Jennix sighed. It seemed like they would go hungry today. Even if Morlun brought back prey, Father wouldn’t generously share it with them.
“I have a question, brother.” Jennix observed Daemos’ expression.
“Speak, Jennix.” Daemos said expressionlessly.
“My locator shows that you died in the same universe. Who exactly was it that could take out three of you in one fell swoop?” Jennix asked cautiously.
“That’s exactly what I’m going to tell Father next.” Daemos didn’t answer directly, but instead quickened his pace.
Seeing this, Jennix didn’t ask further and continued to follow respectfully behind Daemos.
Passing through the corridor and climbing the stairs, the two brothers finally arrived at their destination, a thick, well-made wooden door engraved with patterns.
Behind this door was the only place where the Inheritors family would gather, their dining room.
Daemos pushed open the door, and immediately a long wooden dining table came into view, with three huge golden platters placed on it, with delicate patterns engraved around the edges.
At the end of the dining table sat a person, a strong body and an old, dignified face, their father, the patriarch of the Inheritors family, Solus.
The dim light from the candles hid their father’s expression in the darkness, but without looking, the two brothers knew that their father wasn’t in a good mood.
