#244 - Educate Black Spider Again

The gathering was lively, possibly because the previous Inheritor had put too much pressure on them, so during their time at the camp, not just Gwen and Peni, but everyone hadn't really had a chance to interact properly.

Even the most carefree Spider-Ham wouldn't joke around at that time, and once the pressure disappeared, these Spiders' talkative nature came to the forefront, even the relatively quiet Spider-Noir couldn't stop talking.

Multiple brushes with death had deepened the bonds between everyone present, and they were having a great time chatting and playing games, except for one person: Miles.

He wasn't there the first time they fought Kingpin, and the events at the camp the second time didn't exactly endear him to the others, so apart from the Ultimate Peter family, no one would actively talk to Miles.

This made Miles extremely uncomfortable, and he regretted joining the party for the first time. However, leaving early would undoubtedly embarrass the Ultimate Peter family, so he could only try his best to stay and avoid thinking about things that made him feel bad.

Miles quietly sighed, looking at Yang Le with envy. This person was not only subtly the main character of this gathering but was also in a relationship with the girl he secretly admired, which made him wonder how great it would be if he were in Yang Le's place.

Thinking this, Miles subconsciously picked up the drink on the table next to him and started drinking, hoping to wash away his sadness with carbonation.

While Miles was grieving alone, the Peters had already started suggesting games to liven things up.

"So, what should we play?" Spider-Ham continued to swirl his wine glass, the liquid inside not wine, but cola.

"Of course, we have to play what guys like to play when they get together…" Ultimate Peter said excitedly.

Before he could say it, 616B Peter interjected, "Are you talking about arm wrestling?"

"Exactly!" Ultimate Peter nodded in agreement. He had actually been craving this game for a long time. Before becoming Spider-Man, he was just a weak bookworm and never dared to participate in this kind of game for guys. After being bitten by the radioactive spider, he was even more afraid, partly because he was afraid of revealing his identity, and partly because he was afraid of not being able to control his strength and crushing his opponent's hand.

But now, his eyes were filled with people just like him, and Ultimate Peter felt that he could finally make up for this regret.

"Looks like we're on the same page." Ultimate Peter patted 616B Peter's shoulder in praise, then looked around, his eyes full of hope.

"So, who wants to participate?"

"Pass." Gwen waved her hand, and Peni also shook her head. Gwen didn't like this kind of game, and Peni's robot couldn't match the strength of the other Spider-Men.

"Count me in." Spider-Noir finished his drink in one gulp.

"Then add us too." 616B Peter pulled Spider-Ham along. "It's too boring with only two people."

Gwen looked at Yang Le sitting next to her and asked, "Aren't you going to participate?"

"Without transforming, I'm just an ordinary person. What's the point of interfering in a superhuman competition?" Yang Le said lazily, lounging on the sofa.

"Miles, do you want to play?" Ultimate Peter looked at Miles. He had actually noticed the withdrawn Miles for a while. The reason he suggested arm wrestling was to bring Miles closer to the others.

"Me, me?" Miles pointed to himself in surprise. After seeing Ultimate Peter nod, he first showed a happy expression, then quickly became disappointed after seeing the number of people participating.

"There are five people in total, not enough. I'd rather not participate."

"It's okay, we still have Harby here." Ultimate Peter winked at Yang Le, signaling the latter to help.

Yang Le was actually interested, but because of the Omnitrix, competing with them in strength would undoubtedly be considered cheating, so he didn't actively participate. Now that Peter had actively invited him, Yang Le didn't continue to hold back.

"Let's make it clear first, I'm definitely going to transform, so don't say I'm cheating." Yang Le reminded them.

The Spiders all agreed. Yang Le really couldn't compete with them without transforming, which was something they couldn't do anything about.

The competition used a knockout system. The winner would advance, and the loser would be eliminated. It was that simple.

Ultimate Peter, who had initiated the invitation, volunteered to team up with Yang Le, while the other two teams were Spider-Noir and 616B Peter, and Miles and Spider-Ham.

There was no suspense in the competition between Yang Le and Ultimate Peter, because Yang Le directly transformed into Four Arms, ending the match with overwhelming force.

The competition between Miles and Spider-Ham was also unexpectedly fast. Spider-Ham didn't have much desire to win and conceded after a while, allowing the serious Miles to win.

The double Peter team fought fiercely, but in the end, Spider-Noir won with greater endurance.

To this, 616B Peter could only sigh helplessly. Who asked him to waste so much time? But this also strengthened his determination to go back and train harder. One day, he would return to his peak.

Now there were only three people left. Ultimate Peter originally suggested deciding who would directly enter the finals by flipping a coin, but Spider-Noir took the initiative to withdraw from the competition, citing excessive consumption of physical strength.

Now that there were only two people left, there was no need to flip a coin, but the atmosphere became a little subtle.

Miles looked at Yang Le in front of him and subconsciously clenched his fists. He secretly decided in his heart that he must win this competition, as if winning it would get him something.

Compared to the serious Miles, Yang Le seemed very relaxed. There was nothing he could do. Spider-Man's strength was indeed not weak, but it was not enough compared to the aliens in the Omnitrix.

However, Yang Le was also annoyed by Miles's constant secret competition with him, so he decided to directly crush him and end the competition decisively.

Crossing his arms, accompanied by the dissipation of white light, Four Arms appeared in front of everyone. In order not to break through the ceiling of Peter's house, Yang Le also deliberately squatted down.

Miles looked at Four Arms in front of him and quietly swallowed. This one hand was bigger than him, and it was not even in the same league.

'Cheer up, Miles, you are Spider-Man now!' Miles cheered himself up in his heart, resolutely shaking Yang Le's outstretched hand.

Ultimate Peter, who was acting as the referee, saw that the two were ready and shouted, "The competition, begin!"

"Bang!"

As soon as Ultimate Peter finished speaking, Miles was already lying on the ground.

"What just happened?" Peni said that she didn't see it clearly.

"Harby just swung Miles around once." Gwen explained to Peni.

Miles heard his crush calmly narrate his embarrassing experience, and he immediately couldn't hold back, springing up and quickly leaving the living room, dashing out the door with lightning speed.
