"I'm just a passerby who helps when I see injustice; judging who is right and wrong is what judges should do."

Yang Le waved his hand, refusing to comment. Dr. Spectrum, however, seemed a little frustrated.

"But what we were doing just now was sending her to see a judge!" Dr. Spectrum swallowed the curse that almost came out, but he still looked a little hysterical.

"Dr. Spectrum is right, Mr. Yang." Arcana tugged at Dr. Spectrum's clothes, signaling him to be quiet, not noticing that their boss was still lying on the ground.

"Our Supreme Squad is one of the government-recognized superhero groups, with official law enforcement power. We were just arresting the mutant Illyana."

Besides declaring the legitimacy of their arrest, there was another meaning Arcana didn't say, which was that the mutants' and Yang Le's previous actions already constituted a series of illegal acts such as resisting arrest. However, Arcana didn't explicitly say it.

First, smart people would definitely understand it themselves. Second, based on the power Yang Le had previously demonstrated, national power was just a decoration in front of him. If the government didn't have Wenshi, they wouldn't even be able to deal with Hyperion, let alone Yang Le, who crushed Hyperion.

Hearing that the Supreme Squad had law enforcement power, Yang Le was stunned. This was the first time he had heard of it. Most superheroes were models of volunteering, and the vast majority of them didn't have law enforcement power. However, because of the proliferation of super villains, governments that couldn't solve these powerful lawbreakers generally turned a blind eye to the superheroes' actions.

Of course, there was still a small group of hero teams with official backing, but at least all the versions of the Supreme Squad that Yang Le knew didn't have this privilege.

"Hmph, being caught by you only leads to death," Gambit sneered.

"That's because she took six lives. She should pay the price for it!" Arcana retorted sharply. Unexpectedly, her righteousness aroused Magneto's dissatisfaction even more.

"Pay the price!" Magneto said in a deep voice. Although the voice was not loud, it clearly reached everyone's ears.

"What about those humans who hurt mutants? Have they paid any price?"

"A year ago, a police officer took the life of a mutant in the interrogation room," Cyclops' voice trembled, as if suppressing something.

"The reason was merely suspicion that he had mental abilities. The ridiculous thing is that the stupid human institutions didn't accurately test his abilities. Just because his ability manifested as mind reading, he was beaten to death in the interrogation room by that police officer. Do you know what's even funnier?"

Arcana was like a stranded fish, half an official and a superhero. She often paid attention to things related to crime, and of course she knew about what Cyclops said. She even knew some inside information that ordinary people couldn't touch.

"The entire police station knew about this," Scott said, his lips pale and his voice hoarse. "Those beasts in human clothing tried to make us believe that the mutant had been released, but Gambit discovered something unusual. He commissioned Beast to hack into the police station's surveillance system, and we were able to learn the truth."

"Human law enforcement agencies can't possibly face mutants with a fair attitude."

Faced with the bloody facts, Dr. Spectrum and Arcana couldn't say another word. As long as you lived in this world, you knew that almost no judge could remain absolutely neutral when facing mutants. Once a mutant was caught by law enforcement, it was no different from being sent to the gallows.

Whether they were actually executed or secretly replaced and sent to the laboratory as guinea pigs, it was not a good ending.

"Even if what happened before was the fault of humans, she did take six lives."

Yang Le looked down and found that Hyperion had opened his eyes at this time and was struggling to get up from the ground. If you ignored his tattered battle suit, Hyperion looked as if he hadn't been injured.

"I thought you were going to lie down for a while longer," Yang Le joked.

This sentence seemed like Yang Le had misjudged the time it took for him to knock Hyperion unconscious, but that was not the case. With his super hearing, Yang Le had already noticed the subtle changes in Hyperion's body. In fact, Hyperion had already woken up when Dr. Spectrum spoke, and had been pretending to be asleep all along.

Hyperion naturally heard the implication of Yang Le's words, and a trace of embarrassment appeared on his face, but it quickly disappeared, and he put on that righteous expression again.

"So what?" Magneto retorted. "Humans can kill mutants, so can't mutants kill humans? Why can the former escape legal punishment, but not the latter?"

"I can tell you the truth, if Charles hadn't had a mental breakdown and turned against his own family, I would never have killed him with my own hands. Instead, I would have stood with him on the same front."

Magneto said terrifying words calmly, causing the faces of everyone in the Supreme Squad to change. Seeing Magneto's attitude, they understood that things probably wouldn't end peacefully today.

"I just came and heard something amazing."

A strange voice appeared out of thin air. Before everyone present could figure out where the voice came from, a portal burning with orange flames suddenly opened in front of them.

Seeing that iconic portal, Magneto couldn't help but frown. In contrast, Arcana was overjoyed.

"Sorcerer Supreme," Magneto frowned, his tone tinged with vigilance.

Following Magneto's introduction, a middle-aged man wearing a red stand-up collar cloak, a bright blue jumpsuit, and a huge pendant hanging on his chest walked out of the portal. Accompanying him was a middle-aged man wearing a well-tailored blue suit. Yang Le knew both of these people.

One was the famous Sorcerer Supreme, Stephen Strange. It seemed that the Sorcerer Supreme of this universe was still him. The other was Howard Stark, Tony Stark's father, who was also Iron Man in this universe.

"And Stark?" Magneto frowned even deeper. "What are you two doing here? Do you also want to take away my fellow mutants?"

Before Magneto finished speaking, he was already prepared to fight. Facing the enemies in front of him, even he felt a lot of pressure. Although Hyperion was powerful, he wasn't particularly troublesome for Magneto. As for Howard, Magneto didn't take him seriously at all. All of his current armors were completely countered by him and posed no threat at all.

Only the Sorcerer Supreme, this magician with strange and unpredictable abilities, was the real trouble in Magneto's eyes.
