#798 - Battle of Giants
The strength of the Frost Giants is beyond doubt. Their power is composed of a small portion of martial skill, a small portion of frost magic, and a large portion of their physical bodies.
The strength of the Frost Giants essentially comes from their bodies. Even in the vastness of the Ten Realms, it is difficult to find another race with an average size exceeding theirs.
From the moment of their birth, this race has been accustomed to relying on their powerful bodies and towering size to oppress enemies in battle. They can hold their own even against opponents of similar size, but they are not adept at facing opponents larger than themselves.
In Yang Le's words, they are a race that excels at bullying the weak.
This was precisely the situation at hand. Facing a super giant even larger than themselves, these Frost Giants were clearly panicked. All the combat skills they had practiced since childhood were useless. Besides passively defending, they couldn't mount any semblance of a counterattack.
From the time Yang Le finished dealing with Hela, arrived at this location, and transformed into a super giant, only a dozen seconds had passed. In those few seconds, he had already taken care of over a dozen Frost Giants.
The super giant was simply too powerful. As one of the strongest beings below the three 'phantoms' of the Omnitrix, his every move brought considerable destruction to the surroundings.
A wave of his hand or a kick of his leg could sweep away a large number of Frost Giants. If it weren't for considering the humans who hadn't yet evacuated, the battle might already be over.
Yang Le's 'Musou' mowing game didn't last long. Laufey, as the King of Giants, couldn't allow Yang Le to slaughter his warriors. Laufey wanted to accumulate power, not lead them to the battlefield to die.
Laufey raised his hammer and leaped, transforming into a streak of light that smashed towards Yang Le, who was rampaging through the crowd. A 'clang' rang out, the sound of which, like a struck bell, ravaged the eardrums of everyone present.
To Laufey's surprise, the Sky Hammer, from the God of Fear, struck the super giant's arm blade but failed to achieve any significant effect. A part of this creature's body could actually rival a divine artifact.
As a top-tier being below the 'phantom' level, the super giant's race, the To'kustars, naturally live in extreme environments where normal creatures cannot survive. Their bodies are already incredibly resilient.
Conventional weapons cannot harm them. Even planet-destroying explosions, as long as the To'kustar protects its weak point, located at the fin on its head, it can survive.
Clearly, even Laufey, wielding the Sky Hammer, did not possess the power to destroy a planet. After all, if he possessed that level of power, he wouldn't have fallen to this state.
The super giant abruptly waved his hand, sweeping away Laufey, who was contending with him. Lacking the ability to fly, Laufey was like a target in the air. He had to use frost magic to create an ice platform under his feet, using it as a foothold to evade the cosmic energy shot by the super giant.
As one of the most powerful races in the universe, the To'kustars are born with the ability to manipulate cosmic energy. They can fire energy rays like their prototype, Ultraman.
The difference is that To'kustars fire cosmic energy, while Ultraman fires light.
Furthermore, the To'kustars' use of cosmic energy is relatively crude, at most shooting out some rays and creating terrifying cosmic storms, and cannot manipulate light as freely as Ultraman to create bizarre skills.
Yang Le speculated that this is related to the To'kustars not being warlike. After all, this race has a well-known name in the universe: 'Gentle Giants'.
Being powerful enough, they don't need to develop their abilities to cope with almost all crises. This is the余裕 of the strong.
This idea is very similar to a character in a gag manga series that Yang Le likes very much, 'Baki the Grappler', named Kaoru Hanayama.
This underworld boss, who often uses 'Genna 2nd year' as a narration, believes that the strong should have the awareness of the strong. Innate strength is enough. Since one is born strong, one should not demand more.
It sounds stupid, but there is a hint of coolness to it, a higher purity than someone who plays strength with a centenarian and plays technique with a primitive.
At least Yang Le couldn't do what Hanayama did. After being able to use the super giant, he immediately replicated his guesses on the super giant one by one, and sure enough, it was just as he thought.
Super giants are not only capable of crudely using cosmic energy; it is more that they do not expand this ability. They can still do it if they want to.
For example, Yang Le, he just threw an Eight-Ray Ring at Laufey, a serrated light blade with excellent cutting ability, one of his favorite signature moves of the original Ultraman.
Unfortunately, although super giants can manipulate cosmic energy to create some fancy moves, they still cannot be as free as Ultraman. Yang Le's Eight-Ray Ring is only similar in shape and does not have tracking ability.
Yang Le can at most control the light ring to turn once; he can't do more with his current abilities.
Therefore, Laufey was able to step on the ice platform to borrow strength and dodge the Eight-Ray Ring, but after narrowly dodging the light ring, the high heat from it and the sharp sound of cutting through the air still made him feel lingering fear.
In his current form, he is definitely not the opponent of this creature.
This is Laufey's current thought. Although it may attract the attention of the Serpent, Laufey had to open the Ancient Winter Coffin located on his chest in order to survive.
For a time, the temperature dropped again. This time, even Yang Le, who had transformed into a super giant, felt cold, let alone other creatures. The plants planted nearby, which could originally sway due to the cold wind, completely stopped moving.

Yang Le took a slight step back. The weight brought by this foot caused the frozen plants around him to turn into dust in a burst of shaking. Obviously, it was already too cold in this area.
If this continues, not to mention this land, the entire Earth may become a dead star due to the cold.
Yang Le crossed his hands in front of his chest. The next second, a huge cosmic energy burst out of his body. At the same time, the sky, which was already covered with dark clouds, looked even more terrifying.
Purple and red lightning shuttled through the dark clouds. A radius of about fifty miles centered on Yang Le was completely enveloped by a purple mist. The humans who had just evacuated could not observe what was happening inside at all.
Only the devices detecting radiation and energy were constantly emitting wails.
This is the super giant's ultimate move, Cosmic Storm. Under normal circumstances, this storm can cover a planet, but Yang Le compressed the size of the cosmic storm.
He used the cosmic storm to form a barrier to prevent the spread of the low temperature, and at the same time, he enveloped all the giants inside.
