Zhang Tong and Xiao Xiao should have left after buying the clothes. But since we came to the supermarket, Xiao Xiao suggested that we should go shopping more.

The super-large supermarket with two or three floors of over 10,000 goods that is commonplace now is actually relatively new to Zhang Tong. Because although the first supermarket appeared in China in 1983, it was only 200 square meters in size and had only a few hundred types of goods. The main customer groups are foreigners.

It was not until 1997 that foreign supermarkets entered China in the true sense. And the scale of the supermarket was far smaller than it is now.

In 1997, although China's resources were no longer as scarce as in the 1970s or 1980s, it can still be said to be a relatively scarce era.

You know, Huaihai is the last city in the country to abolish the food stamp system. The food stamps here have been used until 1992. And it was not long after the issuance of food stamps in 1993 that the cancellation of the use of food stamps was announced.

The supermarket was still a very fashionable place when Zhang Tong left the earth. Contrary to the relatively cheap things sold in supermarkets now, the things sold in supermarkets in that era were a little more expensive than the outside market prices. Unlike now, the supermarket is already a very down-to-earth existence.

Many times, if you want to buy something and can’t remember where it is sold, people’s first choice is to go to a big supermarket to find it.

For example, Xiao Xiao took Zhang Tong to look at the fruits and vegetables sold in the supermarket, and asked Zhang Tong to choose to see how the supermarket's vegetables were.

"Well, not fresh enough." Zhang Tong looked at the green leafy vegetables in the vegetable section and shook his head: "Except for potatoes, onions, and Chinese cabbage, which are durable vegetables, other vegetables are not very suitable for buying in supermarkets."

"But the fruit is okay, come here, buy some fruit and go back to eat. What do you like to eat, I will buy you some." Zhang Tong decided to reward Xiao Xiao with some extra fruit.

"Wow, is it so good? The share of bread coupons won't be deducted from the fruit, right?" Xiao Xiao was a little skeptical.

"You little girl, what are you thinking about all day long. Are you Zhang Ge and I the kind of person who doesn't believe what you say?" Zhang Tong shaved Xiao Xiao's brain. Xiao Xiao stuck out her tongue and began to choose fruits happily.

However, Xiao Xiao was very restrained in choosing fruits, and she didn't take those expensive things, such as cherries and mare's milk grapes. I just took some oranges or something. This time happened to be the time when a large number of oranges were on the market. The price was cheap and very sweet.

Satisfied, Xiao Xiao lined up at the weighing place with a few catties of oranges, but a very unpleasant thing happened at this place.

Supermarkets usually do better business at night than during the day on weekdays, because everyone is off work, and they have nothing to do to go to the supermarket to buy some fruits and vegetables to prepare for tomorrow's meal.

So there was a queue at the weighing place, and there were about six people in front of Xiao Xiao. At the weighing station, a man who looked to be in his thirties was working.

Zhang Tong glanced at this man from a distance, he attracted Zhang Tong's attention a bit. Inexplicably, he felt that this person was a little familiar, as if he had seen it somewhere before.

The man's face is quite special, the distance between his eyes is relatively wide, and the head shape looks a little smaller than the average person, which makes him look a little funny. Maybe some rude people would laugh at him for looking like a toad.

Men are slower to weigh and checkout. Most of the weighing personnel working in supermarkets are very fast in their hands and feet. Basically, they can immediately type out the codes for weighing and settlement by looking at the goods in the hands of customers.

And this man seemed to have to think for two or three seconds when he saw the goods brought out by the customer, and then he could click on the codes one by one. This seemingly slow movement caused dissatisfaction among some members of the team.

Standing in front of Xiao Xiao was a chubby old aunt. She should be in her fifties or sixties, but she put on a lot of make-up. She painted her eyebrows with red eye shadow, dyed her hair yellow, and permed her hair for a hairstyle.

She has been urging impatiently: "Can you move faster! You can look at gold, and a pear for a long time. How long will we have to wait in line behind us? You are slow, don't think about it How customers feel."

Aunt Huangmao urged repeatedly, and her voice was sharp and loud. The man at the weighing place she was talking about blushed a little.

At first glance, this yellow-haired aunt is the kind of person who is common in the market and is good at playing tricks. It is this kind of person who makes trouble for no reason.

Although everyone was very dissatisfied with the slow hands and feet of the man in the weighing department, no one said anything. As soon as the yellow-haired aunt's words came out, everyone frowned unconsciously.

The man who looked a bit like a toad muttered with a blushing face, and the voice was so small that no one heard it. But the mouth shape seems to say I'm sorry.

Aunt Huang Mao was still muttering some nonsense, and some people were like that. As long as a person takes one step back, he (she) will take three steps forward. Unreasonable things will become reasonable.

Zhang Tong was still wondering who this familiar man was. And Xiao Xiao, who was standing behind Aunt Huangmao, couldn't help but said: "What are you doing so noisy, it's your turn now, and you're still cursing, don't waste everyone's time, okay?"

Xiao Xiao, a girl, has never been a polite person. Since she dared to continue to eat noodles, other shops chased people away, ordering a bowl of vegetarian dishes worth five yuan can eat rice for ten people, and finally the manager came forward and asked her not to come again.

She also dared to generously participate in the Big Eater Competition just to win a year's bento. Xiao Xiao has never been a thin-skinned girl.

Aunt Huang Mao heard what Xiao Xiao said and stared back at her, Xiao Xiao stared back directly. A girl who is about to live independently at the age of sixteen, if she is not strong enough or aggressive, she will not be able to survive long ago. Xiao Xiao has absolutely no intention of being afraid of this kind of rambunctious yellow-haired aunt.

"Cut." Aunt Huang Mao looked at Xiao Xiao with no intention of flinching at all, she could only cut and then stopped.

If this kind of little girl quarrels with her, the other party will definitely not give in to her. Aunt Huang Mao could tell that Xiao Xiao didn't look like a little girl who was easy to bully.

So Aunt Huang Mao restrained herself a little, and she bought quite a lot of fruit. There are about eight bags in all. The men at the weighing station checked and weighed each person one by one.

His speed is probably a little slower than the average person, but to Aunt Huangmao, it looks surprisingly slow.

She couldn't help but read again, making the man even more flustered.

After finally weighing, Aunt Huang Mao walked away. The man breathed a sigh of relief. He took Xiao Xiao's orange, and Xiao Xiao said to him: "It's okay, it doesn't matter if you slow down."

The man looked up at Xiao Xiao, and whispered, "Thank you."

This man's voice is very special, and the end of his speech is very heavy, which makes people feel that he is deliberately slowing down his tone of voice. If the voice drags very slowly, it will make people think that this person is stupid.

Looking at the man's appearance and hearing the man's voice, Zhang Tong suddenly remembered something. He slapped his hands and was about to say something when Aunt Huangmao, who had just left before, angrily pushed the cart and came over.

"Is your brain broken!" Aunt Huangmao scolded her head and face when she opened her mouth: "I bought Gala fruit (a variety of apples) and you gave me Red Fuji (another apple variety) variety). Do you know that there is a difference of two yuan per catty between these two varieties! You mistyped it on purpose, didn’t you?”

"You are so ugly that you are dying, and you have a bad heart! You must be mentally ill. If you are ill, don't come to work! If I hadn't taken a look, I would have been bullied by you." Aunt Huangmao didn't know either. Which tendon was wrong, and anger surged: "My manager and I complained about you, believe it or not!"

Aunt Huang Mao concluded that the man who looked like a toad must have called her wrong on purpose. Just to trick her, because I said a few words to him just now.

Aunt Huangmao judges all the people in this world with her own mind.

The quarrel here quickly attracted the attention of the supermarket, and the director in charge of the vegetable and fruit section came soon. He didn't know what happened before, but he saw that Aunt Huangmao's bill was wrong.

So in order to quell the customer complaints, he chose to reprimand the man first: "Wang Xuewen, this is the third time you have entered the wrong price list this month. Can't you be more careful when you go to work? If you want to stay like this, I can only propose to fire you .”

The man named Wang Xuewen whispered submissively: "Director, I work hard at work, don't fire me."

Hearing that the director was also helping her, Aunt Huang Mao became even more excited: "Slow hands and feet, and wrong orders. He looks so scary, how can your company recruit such a person as an employee? Don't be afraid to scare the guests. !"

"I even suspect that this person deliberately mistyped the price list, just to punish me. This kind of person will be fired." Aunt Huang Mao fanned the flames vigorously.

"Don't fire me, don't fire me! I can't get... I can't get a job." Wang Xuewen waved his hands and said, his pronunciation was a bit problematic, and he was struggling to find words.

Aunt Huangmao's arrogance became even worse, as if she had caught a Shangfang sword. Just because the other party mistyped the price list once, she will kill the other party's head.

Probably only in this way can she experience the joy of being alive. Some people may have the only joy of living is to add trouble to others.

Just when Aunt Huang Mao and the director were targeting Wang Xuewen, a loud shout came.

"Enough! You two are promising to bully a patient, aren't you?!" Zhang Tong glared at them angrily.

Because he already remembered who this man was, his high school classmate, Wang Xuewen, an old classmate with mild Down syndrome.
