The port of Astapor City is located at the mouth of the Worm River. The river's flow is not large, and the boundary between fresh and salt water can be clearly seen. Looking from the ship, the thick city walls protect the entire city.

The most eye-catching feature is the tall fortress in the northeast corner, with its striking golden harpy statue spreading its wings and overlooking the entire bay. Not far from there is the gate to the entire harbor, extending from which is a spacious and flat harbor. Hundreds of ships of various sizes are docked at the neat docks. Due to special trade needs, there are not many large merchant ships. The Dawn Star, slowly entering the port, is already a rare giant ship.

The arrival of such a large ship naturally attracted the attention of the local powers. The city-state implements a slave-owning council system, with no true commoners. It is ruled by a group of slave owners, large and small, collectively known as Good Masters. Only the most powerful noble families are qualified to manage the council and rule the entire city-state.

It is worth mentioning that Astapor is not just a single city; it controls dozens of towns of various sizes. They are distributed throughout the region, managed by nobles, and continuously provide the main city with raw materials, food, and other supplies. Under this system, the Good Masters control the lives and deaths of the slaves. The slave class is treated as property, like livestock, completely subject to the slave owners. They have no personality, freedom, or rights of their own, can be bought and sold, and slave owners can force slaves to do anything.

For thousands of years, the various city-states of Slaver's Bay have developed their own characteristics. The Astaporians sell bed slaves, farm slaves, scribe slaves, artisan slaves, and war slaves. And its trained war slaves are famous throughout the world. Its specialty product is the Unsullied, the well-known eunuch slave soldiers. These young soldiers are trained from childhood to be obedient, fearless, and insensitive to pain. Astapor once sold a batch of Unsullied to Qohor. It was these three thousand Unsullied who fought to the death, helping Qohor repel a Dothraki khalasar attack and establishing the reputation of Astapor's war slaves. The Unsullied are known as the finest light infantry in the world.

Guided by a pilot boat, the Dawn Star slowly docked at the largest berth. The active cabin opened, and a team of fifty heavily armored guards marched out in formation, followed by Liu Yuan leading his subordinates off the ship.

A local nobleman wearing a toka robe was waiting at the dock with several attendants. His hair was greasy and strangely shaped, reminding Liu Yuan of the Teletubbies. He also wore a yellow silk cloak sewn with copper discs, indicating his status, probably a mid-level official. His face was filled with a bright smile: "Welcome, welcome! Distinguished guest, thank you for coming to beautiful Astapor. I am Grazdan mo Ledyro, currently serving as the harbor master. If you need anything, you can tell me."

This fat man actually spoke fluent Common Tongue, revealing that they were from Westeros with just this detail.

Most Astaporians are descendants of the Ghiscari, mostly with amber skin, broad noses, dark eyes, and black or dark red hair, or the Ghiscari's unique red-black mixed hair color. Culturally, they are similar to the Macedonianized Egypt on Blue Star. The Unsullied are similar to Spartan warriors. It is said that on the southern island of New Ghis, the 'Iron Phalanx' legions are similar to the Astapor Unsullied, both receiving martial arts training and weapon rations. However, the castrated Unsullied have no right to their own lives, while the Ghiscari legions are free citizens who only serve for three years. The attire of the soldiers in the New Ghis army is also similar to that of the Astapor Unsullied. They wear iron helmets, which are practical and protective, and are led by soldiers with horsehair crests that partially cover their faces.

Liu Yuan stepped forward and said, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Grazdan. I come from the West, and you can call me Galon directly. I'm here in Astapor mainly to buy a batch of high-quality slaves. The quantity is quite large, so I'll have to trouble you."

Ledyro said with a smile, "Mr. Galon, you're too kind. Please, call me Ledyro. Rest assured, you will definitely buy the slaves you desire in Astapor." The two walked into the city talking and laughing. The first thing that came into view was the Plaza of Punishment. It is located inside Astapor's main gate. The square brings together slaves from all over the world. All new slaves are brought here. The square is surrounded by tall gallows, where rebellious slaves will be punished or executed.

The centurion of the guard, Philin, introduced, "Lord, the Plaza of Punishment is also one of the few places where slaves can move freely. Those on the gallows are slaves who have made mistakes or tried to escape. Most of them will be sun-dried to death there, as a warning to the new slaves around them to be obedient." Philin was also an Unsullied, living here for more than ten years. He used to be called Yellow Spider. Under Liu Yuan's orders, all the Unsullied changed their names. He quietly introduced the slave city to Liu Yuan.

Liu Yuan was noncommittal about this. He had seen too much war and death, let alone these slaves who did not know how to resist. He did not have such a saintly heart to save the pitiful. All he could do was to make his subordinates live better. As for these people, let the future Dragon Mother Daenerys save them! Passing through the Plaza of Punishment is the true city center, the Plaza of Pride. In the center of the square is a red brick fountain with a bronze statue of the Astapor harpy. On both sides of the square are dense shops, and the central avenue leads directly to Astapor's most famous building, the Pyramid of Stairs. The largest stepped pyramid is three hundred feet high, and the Good Masters plant all kinds of trees, vines, and flowers on the pyramid.

The square is also a public market where slave owners bring their customers to view the slaves. If there are desired goods, or more business, they can go to their shops to negotiate. Here you can see many Good Masters wearing toka robes. Although all citizens in the city are slave owners, only those whose status and wealth reach a certain level are qualified to be called Good Masters. Their status can be distinguished from the silk cloaks sewn with copper discs, and the robes have exquisite embroidered silk threads.

None of these people are simple. Seeing that Grazdan mo Ledyro was personally leading a young man, they naturally understood that the visitor's identity must be extraordinary. Moreover, some well-informed people already knew that a large ship had arrived at the port. This young man must be a big spender. Several powerful Good Masters naturally surrounded him.

When Ledyro saw that people were stealing his business, he cursed a group of old foxes in his heart. But on the surface, he still had to smile and introduce these great slave owners to Liu Yuan one by one.

"Mr. Galon, Grazdan mo Ulho... Grazdan mo Buzza... Grazdan mo Barbaro... Grazdan mo Sirilna... Kraznys mo Nakloz..." Ledyro explained in detail. The families of these twenty or so people control more than 70% of the slave trade in the entire city of Astapor, and their business spans various industries.

Liu Yuan discovered a familiar person, Kraznys mo Nakloz. He was the idiot who exchanged Unsullied for dragons with Daenerys a few years later, only to be double-crossed.
