Yarral Deem had recently performed a great service by killing many of the former King Robert's bastards and their mothers, and was therefore granted a barony by the King, and subsequently promoted to Deputy Commander of the King's Landing City Watch. Two of life's three great joys—promotion, wealth, and a dead wife—had suddenly fallen into his lap: 1, promotion, and 2, wealth.

In order to perform another service, he spared no effort in personally leading the search for Arya, but he didn't expect to encounter such a tough opponent when killing more than a dozen Night's Watch recruits here.

Yarral had no impression of Notebook.

When he was in the Red Keep of King's Landing, the Mountain's Clegane men numbered nearly two thousand, and his subordinate generals were all notorious thugs with their own auras. For example, Pollyver, wherever he went, people could remember him at a glance. The rhythmic twitching of his right cheek was impressive; if his right cheek wasn't twitching, then the abnormal smile on his face made it impossible to forget him.

Or Chiswyck the Big Head. Putting aside everything else, the terrifying scar on his forehead shone wherever he went. Or Rafford Sweetmouth. That smiling appearance was disgusting at first glance, and when he opened his mouth, flattery and compliments flew, making people feel as refreshed as eating ice in summer.

There was also Captain Alyn, the traitor who had been by the side of former Prime Minister Eddard Stark. In order to save his life, he became the Mountain's lackey. When this kind of person appeared, every officer and soldier of the King's Landing City Watch recognized him. Or Ser Gratten, who was originally a courtier in the throne room. After being captured by the Mountain, he swore allegiance to the Mountain in order to save his life. Yarral would recognize these people without any introduction.

But the young Notebook was fair-skinned and clean, and his height didn't give him any prominent advantage. He was also not yet twenty years old, and mixed in with the Mountain's group of fierce men, each with their own characteristics, he was the most inconspicuous one.

It was only natural that Yarral Deem and his brothers had no impression of Notebook.

Of course, when it came to ferocity, Notebook believed he wouldn't lose to any of his brothers.

Moreover, he was putting all his energy into making achievements, because he was not yet a knight, nor had he obtained the coveted Clegane surname.

Notebook threatened Baron Yarral Deem very calmly, which made the Baron very annoyed and embarrassed. His face was as ugly as if he had been slapped.

Notebook had already begun to count: "1—"

The two cavalrymen surrounding Arya were timid, because their positions were very close to the back yard gate. As soon as the other soldiers heard Notebook count, they all drew their swords at the same time. Some had spears, and others took down their bows and nocked arrows.

This was the second time they had encountered such fierce and domineering soldiers, apart from the Mountain.

Arya assumed the defensive stance of the Water Dance, guarding against any eventuality from the gold cloaks.

The cavalrymen whose warhorses had violently collided with the prison wagon struggled to get up from the ground and retreated with a limp; the two cavalrymen slowly retreated, and when they had retreated a certain distance, they suddenly ran away, running towards Officer Yarral.

Arya looked back at the soldiers who were riding in unhurriedly. These people wore black armor and black helmets, and they didn't have any cloaks that showed their region.

"2—" Notebook said calmly.

Notebook led his men to block the front door of the yard.

"Release them! Let's go!" Yarral Deem shouted.

So, the circle formation of the cavalrymen turned into a column, in two rows, a total of nine people, including the limping cavalryman who had remounted a spare horse.

"May I ask who the general is?" Yarral Deem still wanted to leave a few polite words.

"Scram!" Notebook said calmly. He rode into the yard, passing by the stiff-faced Yarral Deem. All of his brothers were cavalrymen, and they roared in, each with a contemptuous smile on their faces. Several brothers laughed as they passed by Yarral Deem.

Yarral Deem and his eight subordinates were like sculptures, not daring to move as the black-armored soldiers entered unhurriedly and slowly.

Not only was the young leader acting like he was invincible, but these black-armored soldiers were also extremely arrogant and full of hostility. Many people's faces showed a eager expression, wishing that Yarral and the others couldn't help but attack. Then they would have an excuse to kill them.

Yarral was also an absolutely ruthless man. He could see that these soldiers were all fierce and evil people. As long as he was a little long-winded or unconvinced, these guys would definitely rush up and chop him and his men into mincemeat. It seemed that only one person had such a fierce team, and that was the Seven Kingdoms' chief villain, the Mountain.

"Brothers, not bad, what are your names?" Notebook asked the two men who had escaped death.

"My name is Aji, and his name is Abu," one of the men said, with an envious look on his face. He could see that the armor and weapons of this team were really too good. Then the two men knelt on one knee, "General, please let us follow you."

"Give them two horses," Notebook said. He imitated the Mountain's manner, speaking lightly.

Immediately, soldiers led out spare horses and threw the reins to Aji and Abu. The two strong men were overjoyed, grabbed the reins, and jumped onto the horses. Birds of a feather flock together. These Aji and Abu were not good people. One was a robber and the other was a gambling den thug. Both had killed people and were arrested and thrown into the Red Keep dungeon. Now that they had joined a group that looked like bandits but whose weapons and armor were those of nobles, their courage suddenly increased greatly, and they felt a sense of elation.

The black-armored soldiers all entered the yard, and only then did Yarral Deem spur his horse and walk towards the outside of the yard, his brothers immediately following.

Yarral walked neither fast nor slow. Walking too fast would make him look guilty; walking too slow, he was afraid that these bandits would be unhappy. If someone insulted them, and they carelessly started fighting, they would all die here. And although the King would investigate afterwards, he would most likely get an inconclusive result that they were killed by a group of unknown bandits.

Notebook looked at Aji and Abu, frowned, and said, "Your swords are too bad, and you don't have any armor on your bodies. How can you follow me to kill people?"

"General, there are swords and armor of several officials on the ground," Aji said. "If the General approves, I'll see which set fits me."

"I've already taken a fancy to a sword, General!" Abu said.

"Everything that belongs to all the dead people here belongs to the armory. I have to put it in storage and make a record of it. Aji and Abu, the officials haven't gone far. If you have the guts, go get a set of living people's armor and a set of living people's long swords, short swords, and daggers. If anyone dares to resist, kill him."

"Yes, General!" Aji and Abu were overjoyed.

Once these rampant villains had a backer, they would fly up and eat people.

The two men, holding short swords and covered in blood, chased after Yarral. To strip living people of their armor and weapons, they would definitely start with the leader of the officials.

"Hey, you all stand there for me!" Aji shouted. He was full of courage and malice, sweeping away the fear of being surrounded and killed earlier.

Yarral's back stiffened. He put his hand on the hilt of his sword, turned his head, and his eyes were full of anger, but he didn't move. The young leader probably didn't care about the lives of these two guys, but as long as he killed Aji and Abu, these nine people would definitely die.

That lazy young leader was definitely not a good person. Yarral could tell from his eyes and expression that he was the same kind of person.

In the black night, in a village beside the God's Eye Lake in the Riverlands, from which the villagers had fled, who could they turn to for justice if they were killed? No one could be found. Even if the King avenged them in the future, their lives would already be gone, which wouldn't be worth it.

Notebook didn't look at how the gold cloaks stood obediently while Aji and Abu picked and chose their armor and long swords. There was no doubt that the gold cloaks were afraid of death! Between life and armor and long swords, the gold cloaks would choose life!

Notebook rode his horse to Arya's front: "What's your name?"

"My name is Ardo, General!" Arya said.

Ardo was a servant of the Stark family of Winterfell in the North. He was tall, slow to react, and only knew how to say one word, "Ardo." Everyone in Winterfell used Ardo to call him.

Arya took it here to use. However, as soon as she said it, Arya regretted it. Although she wanted to try her best to conceal her identity, Aji and Abu knew that her name was Ali. And the gold cloaks and Cersei's red cloaks were here to find Ali.

"Ardo, who did you learn swordsmanship from?"

"No one, I just practiced blindly," Arya denied.

"Ardo, come with me and be my little attendant."

Arya was a hundred times unwilling, and she decided to find an opportunity to escape: "Yes, General!"

Aji took a fancy to a set of armor and a long sword, short sword, and dagger from a red cloak. The red cloaks followed the Queen Dowager Cersei, and their armor and weapons were all made by the best weapon masters in King's Landing, and their quality was even better than the gold cloaks.

Abu took a fancy to Yarral Deem's set of armor and weapons. Yarral was very sensible and was taking off his armor for Abu. Of course, he hoped that he would soon lead the City Watch back, and the armor on Abu's body would become Abu's shroud.

"Aji, we are people of the Queen Dowager. If your general is a subordinate of the Mountain, and the Mountain is a vassal of the Queen Dowager," a red cloak said, "We are all from the Westerlands, and we are actually one family."

"Take off your armor, and stop talking nonsense," Aji said proudly. Aji was a criminal from the South, and the origins of the Westerlanders and the connections of those who had been shown mercy didn't work for him. Moreover, he was just a boor.

The red cloak's face fell!

On the east bank of the Green Fork River, the Westerlands army marched day and night, eager to go forward and fight the Young Wolf's army.

"Hey, Timeon, pick any weapons and armor you want, and stop talking nonsense." The Mountain led the drunken Timeon to hundreds of carriages of supplies, pointing to a carriage full of weapons and saying, "This carriage is full of spears, this carriage is full of long swords, and this carriage is full of axes."

"I want a morningstar."

"We have them, come with me. All kinds of morningstars, how many do you want?"

"At least three," Timeon hiccuped!
