The Pacifist Necromancer of Hogwarts

Chapter 117 Hagrid’s request

Probably because there was a professor watching over them, Harry, Ron and Hermione left early even though there were obviously many interesting topics to talk about.

At their afternoon tea, Anthony curiously asked about Banban's recipe. It's not that his wraith rats can eat anything, but it's just that people who keep rats are rare in Hogwarts, and Anthony couldn't help but want to find out. Judging from Scabbers' size, Ron had indeed raised him very well... This mouse looked, to a certain extent, like a big, round, rich man.

It? It eats everything. Ron patted his pocket, It likes mashed potatoes, sauced beef, and roasted chicken legs. But it doesn't seem to like pea sprouts very much, preferring to eat corn kernels... …”

Anthony smiled as he watched him talk. Even though he said he had a lot of dislike for his hairless fat mouse, Ron was actually still a good and dedicated owner.

He made an appointment with Ron to bring his transparent mouse over if he had the chance. When they wondered why the mouse was transparent, Anthony still followed the universal answer: magic.

He was so used to this statement that he was a little worried that if he returned home - a Muggle home, of course - and someone questioned his body temperature or heard strange noises in the room, he would blurt out Magic.

Harry, Ron and Hermione, like everyone else who knew about the wraith rats, quickly accepted the theory. For these children, magic is so magical and omnipotent that it can explain all the strange things in the world and make them natural.

Perhaps because Anthony didn't show any dissatisfaction when they scolded Filch (except to stop Ron from blurting out a less elegant word), they gradually relaxed in the later period.

A little too relaxed, though, so much so that Ron seemed to want to share a fun night out with Hagrid in front of him. Harry and Hermione stopped him in time and forced the topic to Professor Flitwick's class exercises. Finally they said their polite goodbyes to Hagrid and Anthony, thanked Hagrid for the tea, and made their somewhat hasty escape.

Anthony watched in amusement as they covered each other - Harry and Ron were more unlucky, and there were so many people there that he couldn't possibly cover for them when they met him on a night out. In fact, because of Ron's half-hidden and half-told story, Anthony almost wanted to declare directly in front of them that as long as the students weren't doing anything dangerous, he didn't really care if there were people wandering around at night.

Ron's brothers, the Weasley twins, were clearly aware of this. They even waved hello to Anthony from afar on some nights (such as when they walked from the kitchen to the Gryffindor common room with a plate of fresh fried snacks). But if they saw Antony near the Forbidden Forest, they turned and ran.

Hagrid asked the three first-years to pay attention to safety on the way back to the castle, and not to go near the Forbidden Forest recently. There was a guy in there who might be a little crazy.

Then he piled everyone's tea cups into the sink and said to Anthony: They are very nice people, right? They are all good friends and they visit me from time to time...

Hagrid and Anthony described their friends: Haha, Aragog is my big friend now... He shook his hand, shook off the crumbs of the rock cake, stretched his arms wide, and gestured referring to the size of Aragog, but when I met him, he was only a little bit bigger. The same goes for Harry. He was a little baby when I first met him. Now he is so big, and his parents Same, brave and kind...

Anthony knew that Hagrid was also friends with Harry Potter's parents, the couple who were killed by Voldemort on that fateful night.

He looked up at Hagrid, who was slinging the quiver on his body as he spoke. From his shaggy face, Anthony could not see any trace of age. He found it hard to imagine how many friends Hagrid had witnessed growing up and dying... If he thought about it carefully, Hagrid was older than most of the professors in the school.

And Hagrid still didn't realize that the strange behavior of his three children today was precisely because of the middle friend sitting opposite him.

That old guy Filch must have punished them again! He muttered, pouring a plate of leftover rock biscuits back into the box. But, Henry, do you have anything else to do today?

Anthony thought about his schedule: I'm going to give the summary report of the first group of practical activities to Minerva, and then there will probably be nothing else. What's wrong, why do you ask?

Hagrid suddenly looked a little shy: I want to ask you a favor...I haven't returned the Christmas gift from Professor Kettleburn... He saw Anthony's eyes widening, I know, but he gave it to me this year... I like it so much, I also want to give him one that he will like. He is about to retire, just in the past few years...

He sighed sadly.

I'm not familiar with Professor Kettleburn, Anthony declared.

He and the other didn't even send gifts, but simply sent each other Christmas cards to all faculty and staff...the kind that started, Dear Colleague, it's been a pleasure working with you this year. Filch received it all.

But you are familiar with bookstores, right? Hagrid said expectantly. Professor Kettleburn has always said that he wants a new magical beasts book. He has read all the common ones on the market. Is there any At least he wrote the preface... You know, Henry, I know nothing about this, so I wanted to ask you.

Book? Anthony didn't expect that this was what Hagrid wanted to give. What kind of book?

Hagrid said enthusiastically: I want a fun book. I want it to move, not just illustrations, but preferably move like a magical animal. Professor Kettleburn will definitely like this... ... It has claws, it has teeth, and preferably we can feed it as a pet... You can find a book like this, right, Henry? You'll help me?

His black beetle-like eyes sparkled with belief, making it difficult to refuse him.

Anthony thought for a while and said, No problem, we can go to Flourish and Blotts Bookstore on the weekend. I know their clerk very well... Actually, Tom is also very familiar with him. Maybe you have met him too.

Hagrid nodded: I know who you are talking about...but I haven't met him very often. It's enough for you to help me.
