The Pacifist Necromancer of Hogwarts

Chapter 97 Spring Afternoon

After spending an unusual first quarter moon night, Anthony's life returned to peace. He went to class when there was class, and after preparing for class, he went to the library to read a book, or enjoyed a piece of chocolate butter biscuit in the staff lounge.

Myrtle didn't really care about the fate of the basilisk that killed her. She was just in a good mood because Anthony came to visit her, and she happily told Anthony that she really met some Ravenclaw second-year students in the middle of the night.

The students who were trying to explore the secrets of the castle curiously wandered into an abandoned classroom and met Myrtle who was sighing at the scenery by the window. They shouldn't have asked her why she was here. Myrtle was convinced that they meant that she was only worthy to stay in the bathroom and never go out for a walk like the other ghosts.

Professor, you should have seen their faces when I started crying. Myrtle said happily, They are as white as ghosts and so ugly.

In the staff room, Anthony heard the rest of the story. Because the abandoned classroom they were in was too close to the forbidden corridor, even though the second years insisted that they just wanted to go to the Charms classroom, Filch still cheerfully announced that they would definitely be expelled. Fortunately, Professor Quirrell happened to pass by and saved them.

Anthony took the porcelain milk jug that floated over and poured some into the tea: Professor Quirrell seems to stay up a lot at night. Otherwise, he wouldn't have encountered him to deal with the basilisk.

I can imagine, squeaked Professor Flitwick, He looks a bit nervous, poor guy. Cake, Professor Anthony?

Anthony gladly accepted the cauldron cake he was offered. This chocolate-flavored mini cake has a soft texture and its concave shape allows people to add flavors to their liking.

Professor Bubbaji highly recommended filling it with milk-flavored fudge, and Professor Sprout suggested that he could soak the crucible cake in elderflower wine, which would create some interesting flavors. Just be careful to control the time, otherwise He'll be rewarded with a wet, chocolate-flavored slush.

How did you deal with these little adventurers in the end? Anthony asked curiously, breaking open the original cake bit by bit, and enjoying this pleasant afternoon with black tea with milk.

Professor Flitwick said cheerfully: I think everyone was deducted ten points.

Anthony gave him a surprised look. If he remembered correctly, Ravenclaw currently ranked second in house points, only a little short of surpassing Gryffindor to compete for the House Cup.

Ah, I don't care about the House Cup. Professor Flitwick said, I mean, it's nice to get it, but it's nothing if you don't have it - I doubt I have room for another trophy on my shelf - it's more important The point is to teach them that there will be a price to pay for losing their cautious curiosity.”

Anthony laughed at his careful choice of words. In other words, if this group of Ravenclaws are careful enough not to involve themselves in any costly situations, their Head of House doesn't mind curious students wandering around the castle.

The weather is gradually warming up, but still quite cool and humid. Sometimes the temperature drops suddenly, almost overnight, and winter seems to be back, but after a few days, the buzz of busy bees proves that it is a bright spring again.

Clumps of daffodils swayed left and right with the breeze, and the red squirrels became active again. Sometimes they would run to the castle with their heads covered, and then they would be frightened by the dangerous magical animals in the Forbidden Forest and run away.

Anthony gently closed the door of his office and prepared to go for a walk outside the castle.

His mouse was sleeping soundly on the cat's belly. They now get along very well and often rest together. Once Anthony even saw the cat jump out of the window with a mouse in its mouth and take it to enjoy the scenery on the roof, while the mouse rested safely between the two rows of teeth.

The sun is warm outside the castle, and the grass emerges from the moist soil and is so green that it seems ready to grow wildly at any time. Anthony walked slowly along the shore of the Black Lake. The sun was dappled under the shade of the trees, and the wind brought a bit of spring breath.

If you are still at home, you are probably ready to pick some wild leeks. The migratory birds will fly back, and then it’s parsley and winter squash’s season. While Anthony was looking at the weeds by the Black Lake, he wondered why the wild weeds had not spread to this magical land.

The students also came out. Many people were lying on the lawn, talking and laughing. Some students even brought their homework out, biting the quill holder and meditating hard on the sparkling black lake, waving their hands from time to time to drive away all kinds of bugs surrounding them.

Professor Anthony! Angelina shouted, walking over from a distance carrying a broom.

She was followed by a team of Gryffindor Quidditch players. Wood was gesticulating excitedly in the air to explain something. Harry watched carefully, heard Angelina's shout, and walked towards Anthony with the Weasley twins. Look over in the direction.

Anthony smiled and said: Good afternoon, Johnson. Is training over?

The afternoon is over. The training ground will be given to Hufflepuff first. We will practice again in the evening. Angelina said, Today is a really nice day.

Professor, does the practical activity conflict with the time of the competition? Fred or George asked, Let's do the math, if we put it at the end of the semester...

Anthony said: It's the end of the semester, but before the exams. I remember your game is scheduled after the exams?

Before the exam? The Weasley brothers beamed.

Anthony knew that they had already thought of excuses to justify their grades, and warned: Foolish promise, Weasley.

He still maintains correspondence with Mr. Weasley. Even if only Professor McGonagall knows about this matter now, the Weasley twins should think carefully about the consequences of pushing the problem to the Muggle Studies class.

We didn't say anything, Professor, one of the twins said.

Do you doubt us? said the other.

Anthony shook his head in amusement and told them to take a good rest after putting the brooms back in the broom shed, and review their homework if they had time - they almost failed the last test. The brothers' grades fluctuated quite a bit. They could easily get an O in some chapters, but they were not very interested in the recent content. They even got an A because Anthony saw that they were serious about answering questions.

Got it— they drawled, turning to make faces at Angelina.

This group of sweaty students left with their brooms. Anthony noticed that Harry Potter smiled sheepishly at him. He had heard from Professor McGonagall that she had a talk with the Boy-Who-Lived because of the crazy broomstick. Perhaps because his good friend Hermione insisted that Anthony was doing everything right, Harry always felt a little embarrassed when the words Quidditch and Anthony came together.
