The Sun King's Evidence

Final remarks and Qu0026A

Three and a half years have passed, and the book "Warhammer Throne" or "Proof of the Sun King" has finally come to an end. It is not easy to complete a six-million-word novel. It can be said that creation I had a lot of problems and mistakes along the way of this book, and the plot also had a lot of wild moments. I was extremely lucky to be able to finish it successfully in the end.

So next, I will answer the questions and opinions of readers about this book in the form of questions and answers. If you don’t see the questions you want to know, you can use this chapter to leave a message. Question, I will publish a 2.0 series of answers later.

Question: Why did you write a so-called hammer essay? What's the motivation?

Answer: The motivation is actually very simple. I believe that readers can read many familiar fragments in my articles and have a strong sense of déjà vu. Personally, I like Mr. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings series of novels very much and have read a lot of them. I have always been interested in writing something about Western fantasy. At the starting point, there were two novels that had a great influence on me. The first book was "The Shadow Throne" by Yu Yunfei (that's right) , the name of the Warhammer Throne was copied from this book) The second book is "Lord of the Abyss" by Zhushengfutu (the quality of this book is extremely high, the plot is exciting, and the content is fascinating), to me it can be said It's a game that continues the past, and then there's DND, The Witcher 3.

Western Fantasy has been decided, what was the reason for choosing the Warhammer theme? It was probably the summer vacation of 2017. My last Japanese entertainment novel "Nogizaka Poetry" was blocked due to force majeure. After that, I continued to appeal and had no hope of getting it unblocked. I was frustrated and had a lot of free time at the same time. At this time, I played "Total War: Warhammer". I have always been a loyal player of the Total War series. After playing for a while, I was attracted by this theme.

At this time, I was a layman, and I was very interested in the subject of Hammer, so I looked for information everywhere, including forums, blogs, Bilibili, and even went to the external Internet to read the Warhammer Wiki 1d4chan. Not only did I read some first-hand information, I also looked at a lot of second-hand goods, third-hand garbage, fourth-hand shit, and a lot of shit mountains that were passed down through word of mouth in China and were reinterpreted by a lot of people about 114,514 times. These things had an impact on my subsequent creations. I can only say that It was extremely difficult to obtain information at that time, and we could only believe what we read.

During this process, I watched 40K again, and a bold idea came to me at that time.

Hence this book.

Question: Since you have chosen the theme of hammer, why do you want to write about the harem? Don’t you find it contradictory?

Answer: I want to emphasize here that it is not that I chose to write a harem within the theme of Warhammer, but that I chose the theme of Warhammer to write a Western fantasy harem! This is an important point! Very important! Very important! Say it three times!

I have always been a staunch fan of harem literature, and I firmly follow in the footsteps of Jicha. The reason why I chose the theme of Western Fantasy Harem is that although this subject is niche, it is not "sensitive". You must remember that I choose Western Fantasy. The harem comes first, then choose the theme!

My main purpose is not to write a hammer novel, but to write a Western fantasy harem!

I'm looking for a topic where I can write about stockings harem as much as I want, hey hey, this book will satisfy me!

Question: Many people complain that your book does not have enough “sounding flair” and is just a third-rate piece of rubbish.

Answer: Isn’t it? ? ? ! ! ! (laugh)

Originally, it was just a third-rate trashy novel about a Western fantasy harem that I wrote myself under the guise of a hammer. I never flatter myself, but I do have something to say about the so-called "hammer flavor".

When I first started writing this book, I wanted it to be a "hodgepodge", but later I found that I couldn't handle it, so I started to fill in a lot of Warhammer content, mainly writing about the Hammer plot.

But the more I write, the more I find that the so-called "hammer flavor" is mainly the hope in despair, the light of humanity in the "dark ♂ deep ♂ fantasy". This is good, but unfortunately, this thing is not what I wrote. The core "cool" conflict in Xiaobai's online articles.

At this point, a choice must be made: should we ignore the market and stick to a niche circle, or should we give up the core fans who specifically read "Hammer Articles" and become popular?

I want to persist.

To be honest, with many people "coming here to admire Hammer", many of the more radical Hammer fans really let me see their fanatical love for Hammer.

When I had almost written two or three hundred chapters, several senior friends came over. We communicated very well at the beginning and answered many of my questions. I was very happy at the time. Another big boss came. Someone. Help me read the article and correct it, great!

Unfortunately, the good times did not last long. As the plot developed, the boss gradually became more and more dissatisfied with my so-called "deduction" and "magic transformation", which finally ended in a fierce quarrel. The words I spoke at that time were particularly unpleasant. After confirming that reconciliation was impossible, I had no choice but to "invite" the boss out, which made me feel particularly uncomfortable.

Is the boss wrong? In fact, that's right, he just wanted a novel full of "hammer flavor" that met his needs.

Am I wrong? Actually, I think I'm right. This is a third-rate novel whose purpose is to write about a Western fantasy harem and make money.

The two are inherently in serious conflict, or my writing skills are not strong enough to control these two conflicting elements.

From that time on, under the two irreconcilable contradictions, I finally made up my mind to resolutely write in a popular way.

I would also like to say sorry to some core fans and fans who only come here for the Warhammer content. I believe that there are so many authors writing about Warhammer on the Internet, and you will definitely find something you like.

I also apologize to some people who criticized me for ruining this subject, but since I am already a "rare dog certified by the Imperial Army", just let me go. The Imperial Army has already given me real-name certification. , no one wants it to become like this!

Question: Did you ever expect to write 6 million words? Why is it so long?

Answer: I actually didn’t expect it. As we all know, this book didn’t have an outline. The outline I designed before was only one to two million words. I really didn’t expect to achieve such results. After the results came out, I quickly took the time to write it. A new outline was given, but it only ended when the protagonist captured Mu Silon and ascended the throne as king.

As for the Eight Peaks Mountain strategy, it was planned very early. In order to complete the plot and maintain the serialization, I worked on it for a long time after Ryan became Duke of Mousilon.

By the time I finished writing the guide to Bafeng Mountain, I found it embarrassing that there was no outline at all.

I have to say that it was torture to have to update the online article series every day with high intensity. Later on, I gradually became more and more anxious about dealing with conflicts, and everything in my stomach was emptied. There was no outline, so it was very uncomfortable to write. It was very special. It’s uncomfortable. After completing the Bafeng Mountain guide, I admit that I was wet for a long time. This is my problem.

Looking back now, in fact, many of the plots do not make much sense and are too watery, so they can be omitted or even omitted.

It was just that I had no choice at the time. It was too tiring to conceive of the plot while serializing, check information, and be affected by various real-life events.

By the end, I couldn't write anymore, but the story was still not finished. I was so tired that I relied on making jokes and bringing in personal stuff to maintain my passion for writing. I was criticized by many book friends later on. Admit it, it’s really my fault, I should have decided on the outline early.

It is impossible to write something without adding personal content. After having a platform, everyone has the desire to express themselves. It just depends on whether they can restrain themselves. Some authors failed to restrain themselves when they were finishing and had big problems. One of them I particularly like it. It’s a great author whose fans are crazy about him. I won’t say who it is. It really sounded a wake-up call for me.

Question: I came here for the plot of 40K and the Primarch. Why are there less plots and plots of the Primarch in the later 40K?

Answer: 40k is just a gimmick and the background of the protagonist, not the main text. If I write too much, it will overwhelm the focus and affect the rhythm of the narrative. I didn’t intend to write too much.

And for the same reason as above, 40k is a very complicated, huge piece of content that needs to be studied carefully. After I wrote some of it, I really felt the passionate love and loyalty of some senior Hammer fans for Warhammer. It’s okay to find fault with your beliefs. In the early days when I was a layman with only a little knowledge, I would cut off three sentences and send them to other groups to laugh at the paratroopers. The author didn’t pretend to understand and it was considered a joke. There were many more filthy things. Over time, I began to hate writing too much content about 40k and the original body.

Moreover, the character of the original body is too complicated and profound. I mainly rely on many small slices of official novels, many popular science videos of up owners on Station B, and the analysis of some big bosses of Tieba and a few hammer guys I know to interpret the characters. As everyone knows , there are a thousand Hamlets in the hearts of a thousand people. I can only restore it according to my understanding and writing skills. I am not the official author of the Black Library and have the aura, so it is basically thankless.

The funniest thing is that a reader once came to the group to chat with me. It is known that my stuff is second-hand stuff that I made up on my own after reading the original materials, or third-hand garbage that I made up after listening to interpretations and translations of storytellers.

And this reader is even more awesome. His mind is a pile of "hills of shit" left after layers of deductions, interpretations, jokes and jokes. When he used these things to argue with me, I found that the two of us were completely different from each other. Something.

At this time, I realized that some opinions do not need to be taken seriously.

Later, I read a weird article by a translation expert on a certain platform, which meant that an official novel was poorly written. He emphasized, "I know this author has won awards" and "I know this author is very capable. It is the source of many science fiction settings." "I know that this author has a good plot concept and is an official trump card." "But I still think that what he writes has no flavour, which is not what I want."

I just looked away and decided to write 40k less, and just write what I wanted, so I didn’t take back some of the originals in the end, sorry for that.

Q: Was the ending a bit edgy?

A: There is no doubt that the finale is a bit rushed and incomplete, mainly for three reasons.

First, I really can't write anymore. As we all know, the climax of this book is over. Weakness in the later stages of farming articles is a long-standing problem. I am very tired from writing.

Second, on the 19th, which is tomorrow, I will go to a closed training for a period of time from 9 to 5. I will not have time to write, so I must finish it as soon as possible.

Third, there is almost everything that should be explained and written. In the end, it is the same old routine. Justice will definitely defeat evil. There is no need to write it down in detail.

Q: Do you have plans for your next book? What subject matter? What time?

Answer: I have a plan for the next book, but not so soon. Being certified as a rare dog by the imperial army this time has sounded a wake-up call for me. My plan for the next book is to create some original works and sew some settings, and also learn from this book. It’s an outline issue, so you need enough time to prepare, probably by the end of the year.

The theme is expected to be Western fantasy, but it will be stitched with some other elements, such as the resistance system, such as stars, such as Invincible Heroes, such as DND, it may also be a bit hammered, but I don't admit it! ! !

This is a lord farming novel. The main part of the next book will be adventure, and the farming content will be reduced a lot, leaving only a small part.

Should we continue with harem stockings? I can say 100% yes, but I will definitely learn from the lessons of this book. The number of female protagonists should be reduced, and the characters should be as colorful as possible to ensure personal characteristics and personal plot lines. Especially, don’t be like this book where the protagonist takes the heroine with him in the later stages. When it comes to the plot, this falls behind. Currently, four characters have been thought of, and in principle, there will be no more than six or seven.

The new book also wants to challenge female protagonists like Ada Wang and Kuang San.

And I want to emphasize again that Ryan in this book actually has no personality traits and is just a tool to satisfy readers’ desires. The protagonist of the next book will be different. The protagonist of the next book will be a guy with a very unique personality. I don’t know if you will Like it (laughs).

Q: Regarding Teresa’s father, what about the whereabouts of Aurora’s husband? Why is it not explained later?

Answer: In fact, this was the foreshadowing of a very large plot dungeon in the later period. I originally wanted to design a very large plot dungeon in which the ancient holy ruins were unearthed and all the forces participated. However, we gave up because there was not enough space, so naturally there was no such thing. It’s here, and Aurora wasn’t originally planned... (laughing in brackets).

Question: Will there be a conversation with you in the future?

Answer: There will be bread, there will be milk, and everything will be fine! Do you think Brother Tianzi has lied to you? Brother Tianzi, my credibility is as high as Brother Quin!

Finally, I would like to thank my editor Jiang Cha and the four editors who resigned one after another (I have endured four editors to death!)
