The Witcher: The Journey to Transcendence from Marvel
Chapter 389: Final Meeting
"Cough~cough~"
The unconscious Tony coughed violently, his body trembled unconsciously, and his throat was as painful as if it was burned by fire.
With these coughs, he slowly opened his eyes, and his eyes still retained the confusion and fatigue before the coma.
"Awake."
The Seraph Usopp threw Tony to the ground mercilessly with both hands, as if he was throwing a worthless item.
Tony fell heavily on the cold and hard ground, and the pain in his body made him groan. This also made him completely sober and began to quickly observe the surrounding environment.
"Where is this?"
Tony was confused at first, and his mind kept recalling the fierce battle before he was captured by the enemy, and he secretly groaned in his heart.
He tried to contact Jarvis as soon as possible, but he didn't get any response, which made him feel an ominous premonition in his heart, as if he was trapped in a desperate situation with no help.
"Are you okay?"
Steve saw this and hurried forward to help Tony up, his eyes full of concern and worry.
He looked at Tony carefully, as if he wanted to find out if he had suffered more serious injuries.
"What happened?"
Steve looked lonely, with a hint of powerlessness and despair in his voice.
They were originally superheroes fighting to protect the world, but now they have fallen into such a situation, which makes him feel frustrated.
Tony probably guessed something, he pursed his lips, didn't speak, but his eyes became more solemn.
"Don't dawdle, the adults want to see you."
Seraphim Hawkeye turned around, walked forward expressionlessly, and motioned them to follow.
Tony and Steve looked at each other, and they both understood tacitly that they were in an extremely passive situation at the moment.
People are the butchers and I am the fish, except for doing what others say, there seems to be no other choice.
However, even in such a predicament, they did not give up, and they were still quietly collecting information around them.
Along the way, they have seen at least 4 Seraphim.
Tony carefully observed the actions of these Seraphim as he walked, trying to find some clues from their behavior.
There was no obvious subordinate relationship between them, so it was inferred that their strength should be similar.
These Seraphim all have the same unique appearance, the same skin color, wings, hair color, and a magical flame burning behind their heads. All of this made Tony feel that they should be a magical race.
What surprised him most was that they all looked like children, which was in sharp contrast to the powerful strength they showed.
Tony silently sorted out this information in his mind and gradually came to a general conclusion, but he knew that this conclusion needed more evidence to support it.
On the way, they also met several other Seraphim.
Tony thought to himself: [Sure enough, these children are not natural products but artificial. ]
A normal group should have old and young, but these Seraphim in front of him all look like children, and they have so much combat experience, which is obviously not in line with common sense.
[It's a weapon, a man-made weapon. ]
Tony thought firmly in his heart, and he felt more and more that his inference was correct. These Seraphim were probably manufactured war weapons.
Just when Tony was thinking deeply.
"Da~Da~"
A burst of hurried footsteps suddenly interrupted his train of thought.
He looked in the direction of the sound, and saw an old man with messy hair and fanatical eyes rushing over breathlessly.
"Who is the developer of the black armor." Vegapunk shouted loudly, his voice trembling slightly because of excitement, and his eyes were fixed on Tony and Steve.
"Doctor." When the Seraphim saw Vegapunk, they immediately bowed to him respectfully, with a very pious attitude.
Vegapunk's position in the hearts of the Seraphim was second only to Weiss, and he was a very influential person.
"All good kids." Vegapunk waved his hand casually, and after saying hello, he focused his attention on Tony.
Perhaps it was the unique temperament between scientists that attracted each other. Vegapunk determined that Tony was an outstanding scientist just from his armor.
"It's really an amazing scientist to be able to make such an armor"
No mistake, one post, one content, one 6, one 9, one book, one bar!
Vegapunk's eyes flashed with excitement and admiration, as if he saw a like-minded partner.
Tony looked at this strange old man and thought to himself: [Is this guy the doctor in the mouth of the Seraph? ]
However, he also understood that this was not the time to entangle this. The most urgent thing was to figure out where he was and what these people's purpose was.
Seraph Sanji stepped forward, stopped the excited Vegapunk, and whispered: "The doctor is still waiting to see them."
"Is that so." Vegapunk showed a trace of regret on his face. How much he wanted to have an in-depth exchange with Tony immediately.
Through Tony's armor, he could keenly judge that Tony had profound attainments in scientific research, and might even have surpassed him in some aspects.
He couldn't wait to share his research results with Tony and explore the mysteries of science. However, Tony seemed to be Wes's enemy, which made him feel very helpless.
"Don't worry, since Wes didn't order the Seraphim to kill you, he won't do it now. I'll take you to visit my research institute after meeting Wes."
Vegapunk looked at Tony and comforted him sincerely.
There was a hint of friendliness in his eyes, which made Tony feel his kindness.
Tony could also see that this was a simple scientist. He only had a love and pursuit of science in his heart, and didn't have too much malice.
So, Tony nodded at him and said, "If there is a chance, I will."
Although he said so, Tony knew in his heart that things might not be that simple.
All the way was smooth, Tony and Steve followed the Seraphim and slowly went up the winding stairs of the Mage Tower. The surrounding walls were engraved with various mysterious and obscure runes, and faint light flashed from time to time.
Finally, they came to the top floor of the Mage Tower.
With a muffled "creak", the heavy door slowly opened.
Seraphim Hawkeye pushed the two people in expressionlessly, and then the door slowly closed again. The heavy sound of the door closing echoed in the silent space, as if completely isolating them from the outside world, leaving only them and the figure sitting on the chair in the room.
Weiss sat quietly on the chair, his right hand lazily supporting his head, his eyes revealing an elusive depth.
He was wearing a black robe with some strange patterns embroidered with gold thread on it, faintly emitting a faint light, making him look even more mysterious in this slightly dim top-floor space.
