I received a call from the hospital this morning. The child was hospitalized because of jaundice, but he developed a fever. I was asked to sign in the morning, and a lumbar puncture was required for the newborn... My heart hurts.

I was in the hospital for hours waiting for the results and it turned out to be purulent meningitis...  

I thought it was simple jaundice at first, but I didn't expect it to be due to the high level of jaundice caused by meningitis.

Therefore, for a long time to come, I will be running around in hospitals and confinement centers, taking care of my newborn wife while busy with my child's illness.

The most uncomfortable thing is that I can't see him yet. I was hospitalized when I was just born, and I can't see him at all. I haven't even seen a video or photo. I can only wait for the doctor's call, and I will be called to the hospital at any time.

Originally, I chose a lot of nicknames for my children, and I wanted to find something special and different. Now I just hope that he can be safe and grow up healthy, so let's call him An An.
