When you play RPGs, especially those with large worlds, what is it that draws you back to them?

There are many reasons, but one is important.

Many players will miss out on hidden levels, props, plots, etc. when they first try a new game.

Once you know this, you'll want to unlock these hidden elements.

"Hunter's Fate" does this very well and meets all the players' needs for the game.

Hidden bosses will be added at the beginning of the game, and these bosses will also appear in the later stages of the game. Old players can choose to fight them, while keeping them hidden enough not to disturb the experience of new players.

One of them is right inside the college.

Deep within the academy lurks a terrifying primordial demon called the Mist Ghost. In fact, no one in the academy knows of the beast's existence, let alone its identity.

No one would know about this monster because it would only appear in a normal way when some special conditions were met. After all, this monster was usually dormant.

However, as the game progresses, we will stumble upon the voice of this demon and also discover information about it.

The 'Mist Ghost' is an ancient and elusive monster that has the ability to blend perfectly with its surroundings, making it almost unnoticeable. Its appearance is shrouded in a veil of mystery. It is said to be a huge and shadowy entity with a pair of glowing eyes, lurking in the thick fog that shrouds the area, always trying to improve its own strength by absorbing the essence of the strong.

However, it is said that this mist ghost has disappeared from the demon world for a long time, because no one has ever heard of him. But its legend has never stopped.

The normal time for this monster to appear is when the academy is attacked by invaders and the forest is filled with human blood, because human blood is required to awaken the monster, and before that, blood usually does not flow in the forest.

But for those who know how the monster awakened, the situation is different.

The triggering conditions are to use mana in this place, some blood, and more importantly, there must be at least three people nearby.

'Whoosh whoosh'

A low roaring sound rumbled through the air as the fog thickened around the clearing.

The ground beneath their feet trembled, and an evil aura enveloped the surroundings. Dylan, Mason, and Sophia froze, their eyes wide with horror as shadows danced and crawled around them.

Dylan stammered, his voice shaking, "What...what is this? What happened?"

With panic evident in his voice, Mason yelled, "We need to get out of here! It's not safe!"

Sophia sobbed and said, "Hurry... hurry up!"

Their voices stuttered, and fear was in their eyes. Regardless of their ranking, they were all awakened. Therefore, they could sense the impending danger.

“Hehehe…that’s right…that’s it, let me see how desperate you are…” My grin couldn’t help but widen as my eyes caught the expressions of despair and fear on their faces.

When the world was dyed the color of blood, crimson thoughts had covered my eyes.

Soon, the demon I had been waiting for appeared.

The mist twisted and condensed, forming a deformed figure.

It is a tall and mighty creature of pure darkness and evil. Its appearance is a swirling mass of ethereal mist that changes and undulates as if it has life. Its eyes glow with an eerie light that pierces the darkness, revealing an unquenchable hunger.

His hunger was now directed towards those three men, for he knew instinctively which of the four here was the most powerful.

"Huh~"

The Mist Ghost pounced on its prey at lightning speed. Its slender claws were as sharp as daggers, tearing through the air and leaving a trail of mist. The bullies had no chance to react at all, and the Mist Ghost began its ruthless attack.

"No! Don't come over here!" Dylan used his magic power to strengthen his body while trying to keep some distance.

But it didn't work because the demon was faster.

"ah!"

Dylan's screams echoed through the forest as the mist ghost's hands tightened around him like a vice. The monster's touch absorbed his strength, draining his life force with every passing moment. Mason and Sofia sat paralyzed on the ground in fear, watching as Dylan was devoured alive.

Mason was so scared that he collapsed to the ground and tried to run away, but the mist of the mist ghost entangled his limbs, restricting his movements, and his screams intertwined with Dylan's screams.

"Oh...how wonderful...it's such a pleasure to feel your screams." I felt my body secreting dopamine and adrenaline. The excitement alone made my heart beat fast.

"Help! Someone save me!" Mason's voice pleaded desperately.

The Mist Ghost's extended claws quickly pierced Mason's chest, draining his blood with terrible force. His cries of pain turned into a final choked gasp, and then there was deathly silence.

Sophia fell to her knees with tears streaming down her face, wailing in despair. "Please! Let me go!" But the Mist Ghost ignored her pleas.

The demon's shadowy form entwined with her, suffocating her and draining her magic. The forest was filled with her shrill screams.

"No! Don't!" Sophia's cries reached a crescendo, then suddenly fell silent. Her lifeless body collapsed to the forest floor, her eyes wide open, and the horror of her expression made the witnesses unable to bear to look directly at her.

'Bang'

As the body was thrown to the ground, the demon turned its piercing gaze toward me, a look that was both curious and recognizing, as if it sensed something about me.

Suddenly, his eyes became a little strange, and a murderous aura burst out from his expression.

A deafening roar echoed in the forest, and the mist ghost disappeared from its original place and quickly flashed in front of me. Its ethereal body spun and twisted, and its eyes stared at me closely, with an intense look that made me shudder.

"Now it's just us..."

The smile on my face had long since disappeared.

"I will kill you, and your people as well...I will kill all of you demons!"

When her face came into my sight, a sense of revenge burned in me and anger rose.

The demon immediately stretched its claws towards my chest, as if it understood what I said. Its dark eyes revealed an indelible mockery.

“Ah…” Blood gushed out of my mouth as its claws dug deep into my chest, and the claw on its other hand scratched my skin.

“It hurts…it hurts so much…” But it doesn’t matter.

Because this was my original purpose.

How do you think a novice player can defeat such a hidden boss in the first place?

That is to exploit its weakness.

The moment the demon and I looked into each other's eyes, the Scroll of Holy Light was already in my hands.

As I threw the scroll upward, I poured some mana into it, calling upon the power of the Holy Light. A brilliant light emanated, and the demon's eyes were filled with fear.

"Roar!" A deafening scream came into my ears, and I felt like my eardrums were about to explode.

Just as the demon retracted its claws and prepared to escape from the light, I activated the second single-use prop.

【Lightning ball】

'Click'

The moment the prop was activated, a flash of lightning surged through the demon's body and electric current flowed through its body.

“Aaaaaaaaah!”

Then, another painful scream reached my ears. At this time, my eardrum was bleeding from the inside.

The Mist Ghost struggled in pain. It was paralyzed by the thunder mana surging in its body, and its passage into the shadow was blocked by the holy light, making it vulnerable to my attack.

I seized the opportunity. I poured my mana into the blade and held the dagger tightly, which was wrapped in a layer of red light. The holy light from the Holy Light Scroll illuminated the open space, casting a sacred glow on the demon's body. I pounced forward quickly and accurately, with the dagger pointing directly at the demon's heart.

Although the wounds on my body hurt, it only made the crimson mana on my dagger stronger. The more pain and wounds I had, the stronger the crimson mana became.

As my weapon sliced through the air, time seemed to slow down, and the crimson moonlight left a beautiful trail. The demon's eyes widened in horror, realizing that he was vulnerable to my counterattack. I felt my strength suddenly increase, which was different from the strength I had when I fought Dylan and others.

"Die! Die! Die!"

The sharp blade accurately and continuously pierced the Mist Ghost's chest, making a disgusting sound.

A howl of pain emanated from the demon's mouth, and its body began to dissipate and disappear into the mist around us.

A sense of relief washed over me as blood dripped from my wounds, mixing with the mist below. I stepped back, gasping for air, the burden of the battle bearing down on me.

As the adrenaline wore off and I could no longer hold my heavy eyelids up, I felt my strength slipping away.

Just like that, I lost consciousness and was completely unaware of the changes happening around me...
