"Okay, listen up, cadets. The dungeon crawl is over, and now it's grading time. You will all be evaluated on a variety of criteria, including teamwork, combat prowess, adaptability, and problem-solving skills."

Irina didn't listen carefully because she was thinking about something else.

"Morse Scott..." At that moment, my name entered her mind with a bad impression.

"Next time, I'll show you who's the boss." Although she was annoyed, she wouldn't bully an inferior like me.

After all, she was different from those abusers. But she still swore secretly that she would humiliate that bastard in the next competition.

Seeing Julia laughing and chatting with her teammates, she became even angrier, because she could hear that her team ranked eighth overall.

......

The moment I left the artificial dungeon, I headed towards the college's library.

The reason is simple. Because I want to find some books related to mana control, and also find a simple hidden easter egg.

Now, I want you to think about genre book Easter eggs from a developer’s perspective.

Where would you place it early in the game within the Academy?

You would hide it under a tree in the forest or put it in a library among the countless books that the player can access, right?

After all, no sane player would check the contents of the book...except for some psychopaths...

For example, I

Anyway, the developers put an advanced stunt manual as an easter egg and chose its location in the library, and there happened to be a library in the forest. So, all I had to do now was find it and use it.

When I walked into the huge library of the college, what caught my eye were rows and rows of bookshelves, each filled with countless books on various subjects. It was simply a treasure trove of knowledge.

I knew that developers like to hide secrets in plain sight and in places that are difficult to find, so I began to search through the vast collection of books.

"It should be in the mana control part." I thought about it and walked towards the mana control area.

Since the library contains countless books written by scholars over a long period of time, there are naturally many contents about magic power.

The moment I walked into the mana area, a row of 50-meter-long bookshelves came towards me.

Nothing or no one can help me now, even though I know the names of the books surrounding the easter egg, its location is not so clear. And no sane person can create a game that displays 50,000 books, and the developer is also a psychopath...

Now all I can do is simply look through the books displayed there and find the one I need.

And so, I started reading.

Hours passed as I meticulously browsed through the books on the various shelves, occasionally flipping through books that seemed helpful but had nothing to do with my pursuit.

It felt like looking for a needle in a haystack, but my patience and the knowledge that I would eventually succeed kept me going.

By chance, I discovered that the library had a section dedicated to books on ancient arcane arts.

"Arcane?" I thought to myself. "That's the title of one of the books." At that moment, I felt that I was very close to finding the book I wanted, and with a new feeling, I began to flip through the books.

As I flipped through these long-dusty books, my eyes fell on a book that looked out of place. Its worn cover and faded title caught my attention. "Moon by Moon: Legend of the Moon's Mana"

The moment I saw the title, I felt a little weird. It was like, this book was something I needed to grab, even though it had nothing to do with the Easter eggs I was looking for.

Moon Rising: Legend of the Moon's Mana

The name alone is enough to get me interested.

Picking up the book, I put it in my bag and started looking through the books again, trying to find the Easter egg.

In this way, another hour passed in the blink of an eye. At this time, my head began to hurt because I felt like I had read thousands of books.

At these times, I would casually open the book without paying much attention, and it became a monotonous routine.

I saw some students looking at me. Even though the area was fairly empty, there were still some students, and considering a lunatic who casually opened a book and read no more than three pages before putting it down, their reactions were not surprising.

I picked up another book absentmindedly, the title barely registering in my tired mind, and flipped through a few pages at random, expecting it to be just another ordinary book like any other.

However, when I put the book down, I found something strange. The pages were empty, and unlike the previous pages, there was no text on them.

The moment I realized what it was, I immediately felt refreshed and my attention returned to the book.

“Found it.”

My heart pounding with excitement, I opened the book again to see if my hunch was correct. I looked at each page carefully, running my finger over the seemingly blank pages.

"Finally found it." I thought to myself, and breathed a sigh of relief. I finally found the book I was looking for.

I had a strange feeling when my fingers touched this book, unlike any other book I have touched so far. This book had an otherworldly feel to it, and that was something I definitely needed to explore.

My tense body relaxed as well. I closed the book and looked at the title. As expected, the book had no title at all, just like a piece of paper.

Now, I can finally leave this place and return to my dormitory.

When I arrived at the reception desk, I registered the first book, "Gathering Moon by Moon", and for the other book, I said it was one of my notes, so there was no need to explain in detail.

And so, I returned to my room.

I saw a box inside.

This must be my bow, but I don't want to open it yet because my attention is all on the empty book.

"Let's get started now."

So I picked up a needle from the drawer, pricked the tip of my index finger, and a small amount of blood dripped onto the book.

Then, a bunch of unknown words began to shine, and my consciousness slipped away...
