First week of training:

In the first week, I found myself struggling with the mana nature of Forest of Time. The dense and fluctuating mana density makes it extremely difficult to control and harness.

My initial focus was on adapting to the environment and taking the basics of mana control to a higher level while increasing my understanding of the Moon.

However, I often felt frustrated and overwhelmed when struggling with unfamiliar mana environments.

My progress was slow, the air filled with erratic bursts of mana and subsequent mana drain. This made it almost impossible for me to adapt due to the constant changes in the environment's mana.

This made the challenge much harder, and meant that every time the mana density changed, I had to start from the beginning.

I cut my sleep time to only four hours, and spent the remaining eighteen hours training. Since my mana is depleted when I use my traits, I also need to work on my physical fitness.

This period was filled with frustration and failure. I couldn’t even feel the mana at first.

However, as time went on, I started making small progress. I noticed that my mana circuits became more stable and coordinated, a sign of my growing mastery over the unique mana here and my own moon mana.

Second week of training:

In the second week, I turned my attention to combat training.

I fought against the Time Changers and Eternal Ghosts, using their unpredictable attack patterns to hone my combat skills and adaptability.

Although I knew the weaknesses of these two monsters, I did not exploit them. I simply relied on my own body and mana to fight and improve my combat-related skills.

At first, these creatures posed quite a challenge, and their bizarre attack methods often caught me off guard. Since the Time Changer has an affinity with time, I must always be alert and have quick reactions. I was injured quite a lot while fighting them, but fortunately I had the potions I brought with me, so my injuries were not serious.

After each match, I gained a better understanding of their patterns and how to deal with them. My reflexes became sharper and I became better at anticipating their attacks.

As I battled through dungeons and hunted monsters, I realized something.

I don't know how every monster fights, because it's impossible for a game to cover the countless possible life forms in this world. Therefore, my knowledge is limited.

Looking back now, I realize that every time I fought, I was relying on my knowledge. Most of the enemies I've faced so far are within my knowledge, but what if in the future I need to fight some enemies I don't understand?

Relying on knowledge in the game is a double-edged sword, and I have to eliminate the part that is harmful to me.

That’s what I’m doing, too, by developing my combat sense and physical fitness. No longer rely on knowledge, but find your own way to deal with monsters, observe their weaknesses, patterns and every detail.

This newfound knowledge marked a major milestone in my training.

Third week of training:

In the third week I focused on meditation and understanding.

My goal is to deepen understanding of the connection between the forest of time and the environment. How does this phenomenon occur and what is the principle behind it?

When observing the nature and rules of this place, it seems advanced and strange, but I feel like I can understand these principles in a better way.

【Perception Insights】

This feature cannot be used directly in battle. Like the Moon, it is a part of my body. Thanks to [Perceptual Insight], my understanding of this place increased and I came to a conclusion.

<Four-dimensional theory and relativity>

The four-dimensional theory is a theory proposed by physicists on Earth, which holds that time and space are related and cannot be separated, while the theory of relativity means that the laws of physics will change according to the [framework] in which they are located.

In this space, thanks to the time mana surrounding the space, the constants representing the relationships in various equations are changing.

I have recorded my observations and understanding of this space in the hope that I will need this information in the future, or even sell it to mages.

At the same time, I also focused on my moon mana and the mysterious figure in the illusion. Although I have been training my special abilities, thanks to the help of Maya-senpai and my own efforts, my understanding of mana has increased, which has allowed me to better understand the movements of the figure.

Just like before, I felt like I was watching a college professor explaining a course while I was still at a middle school level. Now, I have reached the level of a high school student.

At least, I can understand some of the concepts.

During meditation, I also experienced some moments of déjà vu, which made me feel that there was some connection between the Forest of Time and the figure. I also found a lot of symbols that I didn’t understand.

These are the mysterious symbols I discovered during my explorations that heightened my curiosity.

These moments, though brief, are profound, hinting that there is more to be uncovered.

Final week of training:

During my last week here, I further refined my combat skills, focusing on precision and efficiency.

I also continued to explore.

To be honest, filling my day with training was much more exhausting than I thought it would be. My body and brain sometimes break down. After all, physical training is a painful and uncomfortable thing, and I combine it with mana control training and aiming practice.

So this requires me to relax my brain, which I do by wandering into the shadows and disguising my presence.

I found many different symbols, each with a different inscription. They look ancient and otherworldly. Which makes sense, considering the look of the place.

My battles with monsters became more methodical and strategic. Instead of relying solely on prediction and my knowledge, I incorporated calculated moves into my fighting style.

My accuracy and timing improved significantly, and I was able to anticipate and counter the monsters' attacks with greater confidence. This is mainly due to changes in spatial rules.

We humans are adaptive creatures. Whenever the environment changes, we adapt to it and integrate into the new environment.

However, this ever-changing place, with its changing rules in quantum space, challenges this characteristic of mine.

And once this challenge arises, it will definitely bring improvement.

Here gravity, speed, air friction, mass, volume, density, etc. of each substance...

Every physical property here is changing. Therefore, I need to get stronger with every training session.

My connection to the moon's mana grew deeper, resonating with the time mana of the Forest of Time.

Throughout the training process, I experienced a roller coaster of emotions, from initial frustration and confusion to improvement and curiosity that came with gradual progress.

And just like that, my 28th day in this place came to an end.

......

“Haha… It’s so hot…”

In front of the dummy, I placed the spot I had set up under the blazing sun. I gasped for breath and watched the sweat dripping from my body.

It was snowing yesterday, but now I feel like I’m in a desert.

“It’s a really weird place.”

While panting, I reviewed the results of my one month's training.

The dummies before me had taken the brunt of my efforts, their peculiar wooden frames covered in countless marks and mana sigils.

"state."

I said to myself, opening the status window I hadn't checked this month. I want to see the overall progress of the month.

"Hmm... not bad."

Looking at the situation in front of me, I made a satisfied sound.

It was worth dedicating a whole month to training myself, not as much as I expected but still good.

Finally, one of my attributes reached a parameter of 3, and that was my magic power.

In fact, the biggest progress I've made in the past month has been in [Moon] and archery.

I took an arrow from my bracelet and put it on the bowstring.

"call……"

Exhaling lightly, I concentrated and injected magic power into the arrow.

Blue-gold mana covered the arrow, focusing on the arrow and the mana in my body.

Whoosh

The moment I released the bowstring, the arrow flew towards the dummy.

boom

When the arrow hit the dummy, it exploded instantly, destroying the dummy's frame and knocking it to the ground.

"Sure enough, the blue and gold firepower is very strong."

This is exactly the characteristic of blue-gold mana that I observed: extremely high firepower. When hitting a target, the attack will spread out.

However, it also has a disadvantage: its range is shorter.

When I imbue arrows with this property, they become unstable and it is difficult to control their trajectory except at close range.

I also tried infusing the bullets with blue-gold mana, but since the bullets were so small, it was difficult to compress the energy into them.

It seems that the medium needs to be slightly larger, like an arrow.

Just like this mana color, I experimented with all mana colors and came up with their own characteristics.

Green - Lets me lock onto a target I attack with this mana, and mark them. This color is the most stable in long-range attacks and will not affect the trajectory of the attack. Most of the time, I use this mana when using a bow because it is fairly consistent and risk-free.

Blue-Gold - This mana contains powerful destructive energy, making it difficult to use in ranged attacks. Basically a high-risk fire-type mana.

Red - This mana is better suited for my daggers and melee combat. As I channeled red mana into the dagger and my body, I could feel my strength increasing in proportion to the damage done to me.

It also allows me to sustain damage while attacking, basically a mana drain.

White - I'm still experimenting with this mana, but from what I've found, whenever I infuse this mana, my attack accuracy and attack speed increase as I get closer to my target.

This mana is of little use if I'm far from the target, but if I'm close to the target, it becomes deadly.

However, I haven't found a suitable weapon to adapt to this mana, and none of my current weapons are suitable for it.

Purple-Black-This is the latest mana I discovered, and it also has a strange feature. This mana does not provide damage-related effects, but provides an auxiliary effect.

Crowd control.

Whenever I use this mana to attack a target, I can manipulate it to increase the gravity they feel, slowing them down or even stopping them for a moment. However, the mana cost is quite high and it's difficult to control the output.

This is the basic template for my manas, although they are quite complex. Even now, I am sure I have not fully explored all of them.

This isn't even the first stage of my identity.

In addition to these, I also used Shadow, which didn't improve much since my focus was on Moon.

Now, my training is coming to an end.

"It's time to start preparing to face the Boss. The one month is almost over."

I'm starting to get ready to leave this place...
