Two Worlds: I studied at Hogwarts
#10 - Blond boy's threat
"Weasley? Who's that?"
The blond boy had a smile on his face, while the other two tall, chubby boys seemed to be guarding him.
"It's the one with the red hair who was with you."
"Ron, you mean? That's right, we just met on the train."
The boat slowly moved away from the shore, and Moon answered the other boy's question while curiously looking at the water.

He didn't notice that there were no oarsmen and no sails, yet the boat moved forward quietly on its own.
"Have you looked enough? I'm talking to you!"
The blond boy's voice came again, pulling Moon's thoughts back to the boat.
"What did you say? Isn't this amazing!"
"What an ignorant... Are you a Muggle-born wizard?" The blond boy sitting at the bow of the boat looked at Moon with disgust.
"That's right."
"I see. No wonder you're so surprised to see a small boat."
The blond boy's expression became increasingly impatient. "I was saying that you'd better stay away from Harry Potter and Ron Weasley."
Moon turned to stare at the blond boy. He didn't know what conflicts Harry and Ron had with him, but he didn't plan to get involved.
He had finally gotten the chance to learn magic, and he didn't want to waste his time on squabbles with his peers.
"Listen, classmate, you guys..."
Moon was about to express his position when the blond boy interrupted again.
"Classmate? What a joke. A Muggle like you wants to get into Slytherin."
On the train, Moon had already learned that Slytherin was one of Hogwarts' houses. He didn't know why the other boy was so sure he could get into Slytherin, but it had little to do with him. He just wanted to make his position clear.
"Then, young man..."
"Kid, I don't think you understand the situation."
As soon as Moon said that, the blond boy's face turned cold, and he gave a look to the two tall, chubby boys on either side of him.
The two tall, chubby boys, after receiving the instruction, grinned evilly and each reached out a hand to grab Moon.
The space in the boat was very small, making it easy for the two tall, chubby boys to grab Moon.
But Moon wouldn't sit still. He saw that the three boys opposite him had to hold onto the sides of the boat tightly to maintain their balance, so he suddenly leaned backward.
The two tall, chubby boys' hands had just touched the corner of Moon's clothes when they were frightened back by the violently rocking boat.
"What are you doing? We'll fall in!" The blond boy grabbed the side of the boat tightly and looked at Moon.
"I just want you to listen properly. Also, I forgot to tell you that my hometown is by the sea."
Moon smiled at the three boys, issuing his first warning.
Moon wasn't lying. Xilin Town was southwest of the sea, and Moon had played in the sea with children of his age when he was seven or eight years old.
Maintaining balance on a rocking boat was very easy for him.
"What are you two doing? Just control him!" As if unable to endure Moon's ridicule, the blond boy issued a fierce command.
But before he could finish speaking, Moon rocked the boat again, and ripples spread outward from the bottom of the boat.
"We're at the deepest part of the Black Lake. Don't rock the boat, we'll fall in!"
Hagrid's voice came from the front.
Moon saw a look of fear in the eyes of the three boys opposite him, so he stopped the deliberate rocking.
"You'd better not be sorted into Slytherin. I heard you have a pet that violates school rules."
The blond boy's voice trembled slightly as he spoke. The boat had been rocking too violently just now, and if he hadn't held on tight, he might have been thrown off.
Seeing that the three of them were being honest, Moon didn't mind the unfriendly looks from the three eleven-year-old boys, but he did remember the name "Slytherin."
......
After going ashore, Hagrid led everyone to the front of the castle gate.
Knock knock knock!
The huge fist knocked three times on the wooden castle door, and then a witch in emerald green robes walked out.
[-----]
Professor McGonagall looked at all the young wizards with a serious expression.
"Thank you, Hagrid. Let me take them from here."
Everyone began to follow McGonagall, walking up the stone stairs to a small room.
The sound of buzzing voices came from the door on the right side of the room. Moon guessed that the older students should be outside.
Professor McGonagall began to speak to all the young wizards: Sorting, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Slytherin, House Cup...
As she spoke, Moon noticed that Professor McGonagall looked at him with great surprise, as if she was trying to recall something important.
"Alright, please be quiet while waiting."
After instructing them, McGonagall came to the back of the line and looked at Moon.
"I'm very sorry, Mr. Scarlett. I only learned yesterday that you went to Diagon Alley alone."
"Oh, Professor, you don't have to be like that. Actually, I'm very grateful to you for giving me the opportunity to come to Hogwarts."
Moon quickly waved his hand as he spoke. He never felt that McGonagall owed him anything.
Seeing the dense scars on Moon's hands, McGonagall's eyes showed a hint of surprise and pity.
She took out her wand and gently slid it over Moon's hands, chanting a spell, and then all the wounds miraculously healed.
"Alright, stay here and wait for the Sorting."
After McGonagall instructed them, she left, but the young wizards did not obediently quiet down, and even exclaimed.
Because more than twenty pearly white, translucent people came out of the walls.
"It's the school ghosts!" Someone in the crowd shouted.
Moon also curiously looked at these ghosts. He found that the ghosts' clothes were the same as those he had seen people wearing in Xilin Town.
Just as he was about to chat with a fat ghost inside, Professor McGonagall returned.
"The Sorting is about to begin, follow me."
Following the crowd slowly out, Moon found himself in a magical place.
A hall without a ceiling!
Thousands of candles floated in the air, illuminating the entire hall, and various tableware were placed on the four long tables, and those sitting at the tables were the older students.
These students all had long bars above their heads, but the longest was only three squares.
And in the front of the passage, a long table was placed horizontally, and behind it sat what should be the school professors.
Moon found that the professors' bars were about the same as McGonagall's, at least three squares, and at most five and a half.
But there were still two very special ones.
The white-bearded headmaster sitting in the middle, Moon already knew his name from Harry's Chocolate Frog card.
Dumbledore, he didn't even have a bar above his head!
He remembered that the card introduced him as the most recognized greatest wizard of the age, but what about the bar?
Could it be that he wasn't a wizard, which was obviously impossible!
As for the other special professor, it was the young male professor wrapped in a purple turban.
He actually had two bars above his head!
One was three squares.
One was translucent and unclear.
While Moon was sizing everyone up, the old hat that Professor McGonagall brought out actually started singing.
After enjoying the strange singing, Moon and everyone else applauded, and then a new student was called up.
"Hannah Abbott!"
The Sorting Hat only paused for a moment before directly shouting Hufflepuff.
The older students at each table were very enthusiastically welcoming the new students from their respective houses, and Moon was gradually infected by this enthusiasm.
Hermione was sorted into Gryffindor.
Neville was sorted into Gryffindor.
These were two friends Moon had just met, and then he found that the blond boy from the same boat as him went up.
"Slytherin."
Sure enough, it was Slytherin, Moon thought the Sorting Hat was cheating.
Then it was Harry's turn. He was the one the Sorting Hat had spent the longest time on so far, and in the end, he also went to Gryffindor.
But Harry's treatment seemed different from the others. When his name was called out, everyone was looking at him.
When he was sorted into Gryffindor, the cheers and applause he received were also more than others.
Waiting anxiously, finally Moon's name was called.
"Moon Scarlett."
