Two Worlds: I studied at Hogwarts
#253 - Bounce request
The little dragon wasn't good-looking; in fact, it was very distinctive.
It looked like a crumpled black umbrella.
Its wings had many sharp thorns, and compared to its small, dark body, they didn't seem to fit well—the wings were simply too big.
The little dragon also had a long, large nose, which was quite similar to Bouncing Ball's.
Its nostrils were white and very smooth.

It had pointy bumps on its head, and its orange-red eyes bulged outward, giving off a very sinister feeling. Hagrid simply reached out to touch it, and the little dragon opened its mouth and bit Hagrid's index finger.
It also made a hissing sound, revealing long, sharp teeth.
"You see, it recognizes its mama, it's eating my blood."
Everyone present couldn't understand Hagrid's thought process.
However, after seeing the little dragon, Bouncing Ball had been carefully observing it.
It was still a little unsure why creatures from the same eggshell could be so different.
"Chirp?" (Was I born from an egg?)
Bouncing Ball looked up at Moon in confusion.
"Well, it doesn't seem like it. Books say that Nifflers are viviparous, so they shouldn't have anything to do with eggs."
Just as Bouncing Ball nodded blankly, a huge black shadow suddenly rushed in front of it.
Then Bouncing Ball was pulled into the dragon's arms.
"Oh, look, it turns out they have an even better relationship!"
Hagrid didn't mind at all; he even teared up when he saw the dragon looking at Bouncing Ball with a flattering, pleading expression.
"Chirp chirp~" (You're hugging too tight; I don't have anything edible on me.)
Seeing the little dragon's head constantly searching around, Moon quickly picked up the ferret meat that Hagrid had prepared.
After smelling the aroma of the food, the little dragon suddenly let go of Bouncing Ball and quickly walked to Moon.
After confirming that Moon also had Bouncing Ball's scent on him, the little dragon was relieved and picked up the food.
"Oh, you can't just eat meat; you also have to drink wine."
Watching the little dragon finish a whole ferret in a few bites, Hagrid quickly poured half a glass of chicken-blood brandy.
The little dragon was even more familiar with the smell of this wine; it only took a light sip, and the glass was empty.
After eating and drinking its fill, the little dragon leaned against Bouncing Ball and happily yawned.
"Hagrid, how fast do Norwegian Ridgebacks grow?"
Watching the little dragon completely master the ability to act independently after only eating one meal, Hermione asked curiously.
"Oh, the books say that Norwegian Ridgeback cubs grow at an amazing rate. They can grow to three times their original size within a week of birth."
Watching the little dragon fall asleep, Hagrid reached out his big hand and gently touched its forehead, a happy smile on his face.
"This is a bit dangerous. If it grows too fast, it will easily be discovered."
Hermione's concern was somewhat justified. Dragons not only grow rapidly, but the older they get, the more destructive they become.
Especially Norwegian Ridgebacks. Moon had seen related introductions in the library; this type of dragon develops faster in the early stages than other dragons.
They can master the ability to breathe fire within 1-3 months of birth, and their long, sharp teeth are also venomous.
As adults, they can grow to 50 feet, about 5 stories high.
"Don't worry, very few people come here."
Hagrid wasn't worried at all. He even planned to release the dragon into the Forbidden Forest after it grew up.
Dang~
A strange noise came from under the eaves, and everyone in the room looked towards the window.
"Privately raising a dragon, you're all waiting to be expelled!"
A mocking voice came, and then the figure outside the window quickly ran towards the castle.
"Crap, it's Malfoy. We have to stop him."
Hearing the familiar and annoying voice, Harry didn't care about anything else, opened the door and rushed out quickly.
The sudden situation caught Ron off guard. Watching Harry, who had already rushed out, he immediately followed.
"Wait, Harry, let's go together."
"Don't make too much noise, or we'll be even more unlucky."
Hermione understood the little lion's impulsiveness very well. Worried that Harry would attack Malfoy, she also quickly followed. Moon was originally a little worried, but seeing Hermione go out, he chose to stay and persuade Hagrid.
"Why don't we release it and let it find its own kind?"
"No, it's too small, it will die."
Hagrid was very reluctant. Knowing that the little wizard would likely go to report them, he immediately rummaged around the house,
hoping to find something to hide the little dragon first.
"But in less than a month, it will be as big as your house. You won't be able to hide it then."
Moon wasn't in a hurry; he hoped that his good friend could recognize reality.
In the magical world, dragons are very dangerous creatures. The British Ministry of Magic lists them as the highest risk level, 5X.
Moon had heard Ron say that his brother Charlie was in Romania taking care of dragons.
Usually, it takes more than a dozen adult wizards to subdue such a creature.
In the UK, privately raising a dragon would result in a terrible prison sentence if discovered.
"Chirp chirp~" (No, I don't want to be separated from it.)
Bouncing Ball was sitting on the table at this time, gently patting the dragon's back with its small paws.
The not-so-thick thighs allowed the little dragon to treat them as a soft pillow.
"Well, okay, then let's hide it first."
Moon never refused Bouncing Ball's requests.
Watching Hagrid prepare to take an iron bucket and put it over the little dragon, Moon quickly stopped him.
"This might make it unable to breathe, and it's too obvious. Let's use my method."
As Moon spoke, he took out his invisibility cloak.
Ever since being targeted by the dark wizard, the invisibility cloak had been kept in Moon's pocket, never leaving his side.
"Tell it not to move and just sleep."
Moon instructed Bouncing Ball, and then quickly put the invisibility cloak over them.
"Oh, this cloak is really good, it can perfectly hide the little dragon's existence."
Noticing that the little dragon had disappeared, Hagrid carefully lifted the invisibility cloak and looked inside.
"It's okay now, but in a week, the invisibility cloak might not be able to cover it."
"It's okay, it's okay, as long as I can spend one more day with it, it's worth it."
Hagrid had just finished speaking when Moon saw adult wizards walking towards the wooden house from the window.
"Professor McGonagall, and Snape, oh, the Headmaster is here too."
Seeing the two wands with [Lumos] approaching the wooden house, Hagrid suddenly became nervous.
He knew that the professors had the responsibility of patrolling the castle at night and had long guessed that the head of the house would come.
But he didn't expect Dumbledore to come too, which made Hagrid, who originally wanted to hide the little dragon, feel scared.
"What should I do if Dumbledore comes? I... I can't lie to him."
Moon was very clear that Hagrid admired Dumbledore very much and was even willing to do anything for this headmaster.
Now, although the two sides haven't met yet, it seems that things are already somewhat unhideable.
"Don't worry, leave it to me to deal with, you just nod."
Moon guessed that Dumbledore was likely looking for the thief who stole the glue and happened to encounter Harry and them.
Even if that wasn't the case, Moon decided to help Hagrid cover it up this time.
For no other reason than this being the first time Bouncing Ball had requested Moon.
Knock knock knock~
A crisp knock sounded.
Thinking about Bouncing Ball's affectionate attitude towards the little dragon just now, Moon took a deep breath and walked towards the door.
