Under the Red Dragon

In the eighteen deep-sea bases scattered across Europe, the massive central computer, powered by a colossal energy supply, was working at full capacity. It meticulously deconstructed data transmitted from space-based satellites, piecing together images and videos.

As countless data points coalesced into comprehensible visuals, a feat that pushed the central computer to its limits, Dr. Maas watched with rapt attention. The usually composed and collected professor found himself swallowing hard, his Adam's apple bobbing several times.

The scenes unfolding on the screen bore an uncanny resemblance to the scenarios described by the prayer-reciting bishop.

“And there appeared a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads,”

“And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth.”

“And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,”

The creature in the images before Dr. Maas was undeniably a red dragon, ripped straight from the pages of mythology. The imposing and fearsome horns on its several heads, along with the corona-like flames, resembled a scepter and crown of power.

This colossal red dragon, of unimaginable size, indeed dragged a third of the shattered stars of heaven behind it, just as the legends foretold.

The sheer scale of the flames and storms swirling around the red dragon spanned dozens of kilometers, resembling cosmic phenomena like the Great Red Spot on Jupiter.

At the heart of the storm raged the dragon's monstrous form. The central computer's data analysis revealed a vibrant color palette of interwoven orange-red and brown hues.

It was a massive, fiery vortex centered on the dragon's body. The central computer estimated wind speeds within this vortex to be at least several hundred meters per second.

According to the central computer's data analysis, celestial bodies and all matter caught in the path of this gigantic vortex were utterly destroyed and swept away.

Hydrogen, helium, and various compounds churned wildly across the vortex's surface, creating intricate and magnificent fluid patterns.

However, the birth of these complex and magnificent patterns was inextricably linked to the destruction and annihilation of matter, primarily plundered from other celestial bodies.

And the legendary chains of order wielded by the angel king Michael pierced through these gigantic storm vortices, which in themselves possessed unparalleled destructive force due to their orbital trajectory, binding the terrifying red dragon and casting it down upon the earth of the cosmos.

Dr. Maas shuddered, as if the bishop's trembling voice had infected him.

Legends spoke of the angel king Michael warring with the dragon, defeating it and its minions, and then binding the beast.

But the Book of Revelation made no mention of Michael, the highest-ranking seraphim of God, or his host, falling beneath the dragon's claws.

A senior member of the European Joint Think Tank stood before the screen, using informational projections to brief the assembled elite, brought together by a shared objective.

“In truth, what we are seeing is not based on actual on-site exploration, as our reconnaissance satellites cannot approach that region closely enough. The images we have obtained are more akin to traces of sunlight projected in space,”

“Our reconnaissance satellites captured still images of that region, which appears deceptively close from a distance.”

“However, once our reconnaissance satellites attempt to approach within an estimated distance of at least 300,000 kilometers of that region, they are affected and unable to detect any images,”

“Even if images are captured, the data information displayed is random rather than an ordered picture.”

The senior member of the Think Tank stated, “Furthermore, the Think Tank's estimation of the time of impact of the fragmented celestial body and its accompanying asteroid belt is based on the limitations of quantum mechanics and information transmission speeds.”

“In a precise sense, the probability of this fragmented asteroid belt, along with the terrifying creatures from mythology it carries, colliding with Earth is 100 percent,”

“The 20 percent probability we previously released only reflects the margin of error in our estimation of the collision time.”

Astonishment spread across the faces of the assembled elites and Dr. Maas.

In the image, the colossal dragon and angel lay as if dead, resembling immense mountains spanning the land of shattered celestial bodies.

The white-haired, towering figure held a bloodied, broken sword that drooped downwards. The white-haired, elf-like figure's head was pierced by a gaping wound, its flowing blood leaving traces of outward-radiating imagery suspended in mid-air.

Beast-like monsters, along with the two deceased servants of the red dragon, formed a triangle, surrounding a six-winged seraphim torn into pieces.

Beyond these terrifying creatures lay the dead bodies of other monsters and angels, obscured by a limited perspective that prevented a complete view of the shattered celestial landscape.

The shattered celestial body was covered in massive, crisscrossing ravines, thousands of kilometers in length, rendered by the central computer based on detected data.

One scene captured by the super central computer showed the shattered celestial body passing by a small, vacuum-filled celestial body with a diameter of approximately 20,000 kilometers.

The shattered asteroid belt moved in a straight line through space, directly smashing the small, 20,000-meter-diameter celestial body into dust. The intense impact and the solidity of the celestial body would have been sufficient to shatter any alloy currently existing on Earth.

But it could not shake the terrifying creatures standing on the shattered celestial land. The dust and matter from the destroyed small celestial body were gathered and swept up by the shattered asteroid belt, becoming part of it.

To Dr. Maas's astonishment, the external field of motion at the moment of the two celestial bodies' collision exhibited a drastically different temporal disparity in direct sensory terms compared to the internal center of the impact.

“Are these even carbon-based lifeforms?”

A wealthy individual from a small country exclaimed, “Even though these creatures appear to have real flesh and blood, they seem to transcend the rules of physics.”

“I strongly suspect that Earth's most powerful weapons would not have the slightest impact on these creatures. Even the ‘monsters’ with powerful abilities on Earth are no different from ordinary people in the face of such beings.”
