Chapter 201 Horn Ring

Chapter 201 Horn Ring

"What's on its neck?" Hermione looked at Buckbeak with pity, and suddenly found that there were strange lines on his neck, like two horns twisted into a ring.

Hagrid blew his nose vigorously, and said disapprovingly, "Oh, that thing wasn't there before, maybe it was accidentally scratched somewhere, maybe, I'm not sure."

He said, "It doesn't matter, does it? I've seen it all too often, Hermione."

"Is there a problem?" Harry pushed Hermione, who was still looking at the ring of horns around Buckbeak's neck, he found.

Hermione looked serious, "Hagrid, when did that thing on Buckbeak's neck appear?"

"Not long ago, not long ago," said Hagrid with tears pattering down his face, "maybe I never let him leave the cabin after it scared Irma Pince."

After leaving the hut, Hermione walked quickly towards the castle. The snow was falling so hard that it almost reached their ankles.

"What's the matter?" Ron caught up with Hermione, "What are you doing so fast?"

"That's not right!" Hermione turned around. "That thing on Buckbeak's neck is a trace of magic!"

Ron looked confused.

Harry asked, stepping on the crunching snow, "What are traces of magic?"

"It's literally," Hermione stepped on the hard slate, trying to stamp the snow off her shoes, "some curses leave special marks on the victim, such as burns, bruises or strange lines."

Harry shook off the drops of water from his cloak, and walked towards the hall, "You mean, someone cast a jinx on Buckbeak?"

"I'm not sure," Hermione hesitated, "but that horn ring is very special, maybe there will be a record in the restricted section of the library."

Ron walked into the castle, his pale face gradually turned red, "Then you have to get a professor's approval note first."

"Professor Ollivander will help me." Hermione turned and lifted her chin proudly.

In the evening, after having dinner with Ron, Harry was going back to Gryffindor Tower.

Since Hermione reported her discovery to Professor Ollivander, she and the other party disappeared.

Harry and Ron turned into the corridor leading to Gryffindor Tower, and suddenly saw Neville Longbottom begging Sir Cadogan, and it seemed that Sir Cadogan would not let him in.

"I wrote them all down," said Neville tearfully, "but they must have fallen somewhere!"

"Pretty much!" roared Sir Cadogan.

He saw Harry and Ron in a blink of an eye. "Good evening, my young fine trooper! Put the shackles on this rascal, who's trying to break into the inner room!"

"Oh, shut up," said Ron, standing next to Neville with Harry.

"I lost my password!" Neville told them pitifully, "I asked him to tell me all the passwords he was going to use this week, because he keeps changing them, but I don't know where my passwords are. Already!"

"Weird," Harry said to Sir Cadogan, who looked very disappointed and turned away reluctantly to let them into the common room.

There was a sudden murmur of excitement, everyone turned their heads, and then those yelling about the Information Cube surrounded Harry and Ron.

"Where did you get it, Harry? Ron?"

"Can I see it?"

"Have you solved the secret of the Information Cube, Harry?"

"You are the first batch of Gryffindors to get the information cube!"

"Can I have it, Ron?"

Because of Ron's showing off, the entire Gryffindor now knows that they have obtained the Rubik's Cube.

People were passing the Harry and Ron information cube around, enjoying it from every angle.

After about 10 minutes, the crowd gradually dispersed.

"What secret does this thing hide?" Ron twirled the Rubik's Cube randomly, sitting on the bed in the dormitory.

He wailed and pulled his hair wildly, "I'm not good at this at all!"

"Must tell us how to find the location of Wonderland," said Harry, "and how to get in."

"We still have time. Although other people have obtained the Rubik's Cube, we haven't heard of anyone entering it yet."

Harry suddenly thought of Luna, who, as Professor Ollivander's course assistant, must have participated in the design of the adventure wonderland.

Maybe she'll give herself a little hint.

Library Restricted Section.

Hermione was taking a thick, exaggerated tome off a shelf and slamming it on the table, kicking up human dust that made Tonks sneeze.

"Ahem!" She took a few steps back and looked at Hardy, "So, you have made new progress?"

Seeing Hardy nodding, Tonks excitedly took out the parchment, looked up and said, "Can you tell me?"

"What are you doing?" Irma Pins cleaned the dust from the air and looked at the other party.

"Accumulation," Tonks shook the parchment in his hand, "Braden suggested that I learn more about case analysis and reasoning from Hardy."

She looked at Hardy with bright eyes, "They all say that you are the hidden ace Auror of the Ministry of Magic, is this true?"

Hearing this statement, Hermione and Pince also looked at Hardy in surprise.

"Even if the Ministry of Magic gave me a copper Knut as salary, denying this matter would not be as easy as it is now." Hardy blinked.

Tonks lowered his head in obvious disappointment.

It was getting late, and the cold wind was whistling outside the glass window, making a rattling sound from time to time.

Hardy raised his wand, opened a glass jar, and dense bright spots suddenly appeared inside.

He tapped the glass jar with his wand, and the bright lights inside flew to the ceiling of the restricted area one after another, casting a soft halo.

"Bottle cap?" Tonks pinched a bright spot that was rising, his eyes widened curiously.

"To be precise, it should be called a star bottle cap." Hardy placed the empty glass jar opposite Hermione. "This is a gadget that Luna made recently."

Pince pursed his lips, "Illuminated... bottle caps? Oh, it seems that Miss Lovegood's thinking is very different from other people's."

"I'm rooting for her. It's not a completely useless thing," Hardy emphasized. "The divergence of thinking and the creativity of ideas are things that a lot of people lack."

"In addition, it was also Luna's suggestion that allowed me and other professors to successfully solve the lighting problem of Adventure Wonderland."

After a short chat, Hardy and Tonks also joined Hermione's team.

The three of them sat patiently at the table, rummaging through any records of the Horn Ring.

Mrs. Pince went to other areas of the library, and those first-year little wizards always caused her a little trouble from time to time.

"There was a little witch who was crying," Pince said when he came back, "and it looks like someone broke into her room and took something."

She was holding the tome that was almost wet in her hand, and was about to dry it with a magic wand, "It must be some little guy's prank again."

Hermione went to the library for three days in a row, but couldn't find any information about the "horn ring".

"Maybe you should let it go first, and we can solve the secret of the Rubik's Information Cube first." During breakfast in the auditorium, Ron suggested, "Harry and I have nothing to do."

Hermione didn't speak, just kept eating the cheese pie from the plate.

Harry was about to say something when Percy sat beside him dejectedly, "Good morning, Harry."

"What's wrong with you?" Harry was a little surprised to see the thick dark circles on the other party's face.

Yawning wearily, Percy rubbed her eyes and muttered, "Someone stole Peneno's stuff, she's so sad, and it's no use trying to comfort her."

He randomly grabbed something on the dining table, and then hurriedly planned to leave, "She has been crying for a long time, I have to bring her breakfast."

"What was stolen?" Ron demanded.

"It's from Peneno's house..." Percy muttered a few words, before walking away.
