Alchemy professor at Hogwarts
Chapter 202 The Intruder
Chapter 202 The Intruder
The time soon came to January, and the snow accumulated on the castle had all melted, and the grass was always wet.
Regarding the mysterious adventure wonderland, more than a dozen people have already obtained the Rubik's Cube, but no one has been able to solve the puzzles above.
But there is no doubt that Hermione and Vanessa's progress is the fastest of all, and they are starting to compete secretly again, and the others can't help but divide into two groups to cheer for them.
But Percy was not among them. He had been busy comforting Penello recently, and the other party's eyes were always red, which made him feel bad.
Even at the Quidditch gala after Gryffindor's victory over Ravenclaw, he only half-heartedly told everyone to go to bed early and disappeared.
As soon as Professor McGonagall came out of the Gryffindor common room to express his congratulations, he met Hardy in the corridor leading to the foyer.
A snow-white owl stood on the shoulder of the other party, and it was gently pecking Hardy's earlobe affectionately.
Just a few seconds later, Hardy looked away from the note in his hand, and smiled and stroked the owl's feathers.
"It seems that you have received some good news, Hardy." Professor McGonagall walked over and shared the toffee fat tongue candy she had received from the students.
"It's really good news." Hardy raised his arms, and the snow-white owl fluttered to the night outside the castle, "Courteney Cox promised to help us, and her assistant will visit Hogwarts next Friday .”
Professor McGonagall disapproved of this American master of memory, and left after simply asking a few questions.
It seems that the two do have some grievances... Looking at the back of Mag's departure, Hardy thought to himself.
At one o'clock in the morning, Professor McGonagall reappeared in the Gryffindor common room in a plaid dressing gown and hairnet.
She insisted that everyone go to bed, and the Gryffindor party ended.
Harry and Ron went upstairs to the dormitory, still talking about the game, and finally, exhausted, Harry crawled into bed.
Twisting the curtains of the four-poster bed together to keep out the moonlight, lying flat, I felt as though I were falling asleep instantly.
He had a very strange dream.
In the blue sky, he was riding a broomstick to dive towards the ground, and something was flying fast in front of him.
Harry opened his right hand, desperately trying to grab the thing, almost, almost.
Suddenly, he hit an oncoming fir tree and flew off the broomstick, but he had already caught something.
It's not a golden snitch, it's a square thing, an information cube!
The chaotic order on the top has become neat and orderly, and the ring chain encryption inside has been completely unlocked, emitting a blue-white halo.
"I untied it!"
"Ah! Help—"
Harry woke up excited, as if he had been hit in the face by something, and Ron screamed in his ears.
He was disoriented in the darkness, groping wildly for the curtains, when Seamus Finnigan's voice came from the other side of the room.
"what happened?
Harry thought he heard the dormitory door slam shut.
He finally found the opening of the curtains and pulled them open, and that's when Dean Thomas turned on the lamp.
Ron sat on the bed, the look of extreme terror on his face, "Black! Sirius Black! Here he comes!"
"what?"
"Here! Just now! What he was going to do, but woke me up!"
Everyone got out of bed in a hurry, Harry ran to the door of the dormitory first, and they ran down the stairs.Doors opened behind them, and a sleepy voice chased them and asked:
"Who's shouting?"
"What are you doing?
In the common room, the unburned embers gave off some light, and the things of the party were thrown around in a mess, and there were no other people.
"I'm not dreaming, I see him, it's Sirius Black!" Ron shouted from the common room.
Several girls came down from upstairs, wrapped in dressing gowns, yawning, and boys kept coming.
"Great, shall we continue the party?" said Fred Weasley cheerfully.
He didn't see Percy, who had been sleepy lately, listless, and was still falling asleep on the bed.
But Hermione was extremely nervous when she heard what Ron said, and she and another girl quickly called Professor McGonagall.
"You can't lie, Weasley, Black can't get in through the portrait hole!"
"Ask him!" said Ron, pointing with a trembling finger at the back of Sir Cadogan's portrait. "Ask him if he saw—"
Professor McGonagall gave Ron a suspicious look, pushed away the portrait, and went outside, where the people in the common room listened with bated breath.
"Sir Cadogan, did you just let a man into Gryffindor Tower?"
"Of course I do, my lord!" cried Sir Cadogan.
There was a stunned silence in and around the common room.
"You, did you?" said Professor McGonagall, "but—but what about the password?"
"He has a password!" said Sir Cadogan proudly. "A week's password, my lady! From a little note!"
Professor McGonagall came back through the portrait hole, her face white as chalk, facing the stunned students.
"Who," she asked in a trembling voice, "is the complete fool who wrote this week's password and threw it around?"
In the silence, there was a trembling small voice, Neville Longbottom, slowly raised his hand, trembling from head to toes in fluffy slippers.
No one in Gryffindor Tower slept that night, knowing that the castle was being searched again.
The whole school was in the common room, waiting to hear that Black had been captured, and at dawn Professor McGonagall returned to tell everyone that Black had escaped again.
But the good news is that Professor Ollivander, who was in charge of the night patrol, caught a glimpse of the fleeing Black, and was convinced that the other party came in from a secret passage that was mostly collapsed.
That passage has been enchanted by Dumbledore, and no one can enter Hogwarts through that anymore.
The next day, Harry and others saw that security measures had been strengthened everywhere, and Professor Flitwick was teaching the gatekeepers of the castle to identify the large photo of Sirius Black.
Filch suddenly had his hands full, running up and down the corridors to plug gaps, from the tiniest crack in the wall to the rat hole.
Sir Cadogan was dismissed, and the Fat Lady returned, expertly restored, but she was still so neurotic that she demanded special protection before returning to duty.
A group of rough troll security guards were hired to protect her. They patrolled the corridors in groups of three or five menacingly, talking loudly and comparing the size of the sticks in their hands.
In the dormitory, Harry and Ron watched as several passages on the Marauder's Map were blocked and became dim.
Hermione kindly brought lunch for Ron, who was frightened by Black and finally had the opportunity to experience the feeling of being taken care of by Hermione and Harry.
But soon, Hermione's screams made Ron choke on the cheese pie, and Harry was slapping him on the chest frantically.
"What's wrong with you?" Ron yelled impatiently, gasping for breath.
"Harry, your Rubik's Cube has been solved!" Hermione pointed at something dropped on the corner of the bed, her black eyes widened.
Harry and Ron poked their heads out, just in time to see a blue-white halo spreading out from inside the Information Rubik's Cube.
That is a special symbol only when the Rubik's Cube is solved.
