Homecoming from Hogwarts

Chapter 1341 The obsession that should be released

Just before Amosta entered Vitia's room, the atmosphere in the public ward, which had been harmonious, became tense.

Everyone gathered around, including Minerva and Madam Pomfrey, who were preparing the medicine in the small room.

But judging from the confused expressions on everyone's faces, they didn't know what was going on either.

Sirius suddenly rushed out of the room, his angry eyes swept across the ward, and then he stepped forward and grabbed Severus by the collar, shouting in grief and anger, "It's all your fault!"

Harry also came out of his room, still holding the prophecy ball in his hand.

Judging from the burning look in those green eyes, if it weren't for the people surrounding Sirius and Severus, he would probably have wanted to punch his Potions professor in the face.

And Severus.

He, who had never shown any fear in the face of Sirius's provocation, now looked pale.

Severus' pale face looked dazed, and his dark eyes no longer swallowed up all emotions like they used to.

There was helplessness and regret in his eyes. He drooped his head weakly and stared dully at the prophecy in Harry's hand.

As if he knew what Sirius was angry about--
The chaotic situation made people fail to notice Amosta walking out of the room. Instead, Dumbledore, with his pale and tired face, attracted the attention of these bewildered people.

"Stop them, Albus!"

As Madam Pomfrey angrily shouted "I've had enough!", Professor McGonagall looked at Dumbledore in panic.

"No matter what the reason is, you shouldn't do this in front of the children!"

Professor Flitwick also shouted in a shrill voice, but no one paid any attention, not to mention Professor Slughorn's attempts to stop the fight, which only he could hear.

"Stop Sirius, Harry!"

Hermione yelled at Harry.

The students could only stand outside and watch Sirius tearing Severus' collar with one hand. His other hand was raised in the air and was controlled by Mr. Weasley.

“Why stop it!”

Harry said bitterly,

"it serves him right!"

"Don't say that, Harry. Professor Snape has paid dearly for his mistakes. You promised me you would stay calm, Sirius -"

Dumbledore's half-moon frame was in his hand as he spoke in a deep voice that made him look even more exhausted.

"I promised you because I didn't know all this was because of this filthy snot!"

Sirius tried to pull his hand back roughly, but Arthur and Frank held him with all their strength.

"If it weren't for him, James and Lily wouldn't have died!"

There was a moment of silence in the anxious and chaotic hall.

"I'm a little confused!"

Arthur frowned and said,
"But didn't James and Lily die because of Peter Pettigrew's betrayal?"

"Sirius!"

Dumbledore's tone became much more serious, as if he was worried that Sirius would say many things that he shouldn't say in anger.

Harry bit his lip.

He knew that Professor Dumbledore didn't let Sirius tell about the past because he was worried that Snape would not be able to gain a foothold in the future.

but--
This was the fate he deserved. If he had not revealed that half of the prophecy to Voldemort, his parents and himself would not have been targeted by Voldemort!

Neville stood behind his father, staring at Sirius with confused eyes like everyone else.

If Neville is the one that Professor Trelawney predicted.
Although Professor Dumbledore had already explained the second half of the prophecy, Harry couldn't help but think so.

If Voldemort had targeted Neville at that time, then the ones trying to stop the fight today would be his father and mother.

Harry knew that this was selfish, but
Fate is so wonderful.

Just a slight change in Voldemort's thought led to completely different lives for him and Neville.

"Want to hear what James and Lily think about this?"

Amostas's light words made everyone look at him in astonishment. Even Severus, who seemed to have lost his soul, was suddenly startled and looked at Amostas with his mouth slightly open.

"What do you mean?" Sirius unconsciously loosened Severus' collar, his eyes dull.
"James and Lily"

"Amosta--"

Only Dumbledore immediately understood what Amosta meant. He called out to him,
"I think we shouldn't disturb the peace of the dead."

Peace for the Dead?!
Severus' body trembled, his eyes widened in disbelief, his voice was very hoarse,

"Dead. You mean, Amosta, you, you can..."

"Perhaps it is time to let them and the Potters leave their mark on this world in a dignified way -"

Amosta said calmly to Dumbledore,
"Otherwise, they will be stuck with this problem for the rest of their lives."

Dumbledore was silent, because that was just how he was.

He couldn't deny that Ariana's forgiveness did bring him relief.

"But that thing——"

"I have a way to restore its effectiveness, and I have already taken action-"

Amosta continued to stare at Dumbledore.

"I think that when we stepped into the Slytherin Chamber of Secrets and encountered the door that we couldn't open, you had already anticipated what I would do today, didn't you, Headmaster Dumbledore?"

Dumbledore's silver beard fluttered, and his deep blue eyes flashed with a look of struggle.

"Do you think it's really appropriate to do this, Amosta?"

"Given the choice, Headmaster Dumbledore, I would not do this -"

Amosta shook his head.

The door in Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets that won't open!

Harry blinked, he had almost forgotten about it.

Does that door involve some important secret?
This conversation left everyone confused, but from beginning to end, Severus only focused on that crucial issue.

He stumbled and knocked aside the people around him, and not even Sirius tried to stop him.

"you can."

Hope, prayer, pleading. Emotions are swirling in the black eyes.

"I can, Severus—"

Amosta said softly, patting Severus' arm.
"But it's not possible now because of some conditions. I can't explain it clearly, otherwise there will be problems--"

Amosita glanced calmly at Harry, who was standing by the door with his eyes wide open, and Ron and Hermione, who were in a similar state.
"But I can assure you that I am not deceiving you. Now--"

Amosta's eyes wandered from face to face.
“I think everyone needs a break.”

Clang!

Hagrid, in a state of shock and rage, nearly tore down half the door to the hospital wing as he rushed in. He yelled before Madam Pomfrey could scream,
"I heard from the ghosts that you are here, Professor Dumbledore, Professor Braine, it's Bellatrix!"

Bellatrix!

The Longbottoms' eyes suddenly became sharp.
"Bellatrix Hagrid, what happened to that woman? Wasn't she imprisoned by Amosita?"

When everyone looked at Hagrid, Dumbledore glanced at Amosta. He was frowning and seemed unaware of everything.

"Why are there so many people here?!"

After yelling, Hagrid realized that the school hospital was crowded with too many wizards who shouldn't be here. And, it seemed that everyone was injured.

"What happened to Bellatrix, Hagrid?"

Sirius asked, frowning.

"Oh!"

Hagrid came back to his senses.

"I was with Bernier in the Shrieking Shack tonight and it was a full moon. She suddenly jumped out of the tunnel and before I could react, she Apparated away!"
