A foreigner's journey

Summary at the end of the volume

First of all, Happy New Year!

The volume of the Holy Grail War was not originally intended to be very long, because I simply wanted to write a chapter that was entirely composed of "war, war, war".

As far as the results are concerned, I feel quite happy writing it, but I don’t know what the readers will think.

Because it focuses on combat, the plot is not designed to have many ups and downs. Everything gives way to the refreshing battle.

If you ask me which part of the story I was happiest about writing, it would definitely be the plot about the little prince. In fact, the setting of the Little Prince was originally one of the protagonist's abandoned projects, a dark fairy tale prince. After lowering her intensity a bit, Heather was able to fight the little prince with some success.

I originally planned to expand on the information about the Third Holy Grail War sixty years ago in a little detail, but after thinking about it, it was not necessary, so I gave up the plan of letting Brother Monkey appear to show off.

In short, this volume feels much easier to write than the previous volumes because it does not have the constraint of a fixed plot. I hope it will continue to be easier in the future.

The old rule is to rest for a few days, sort out the next ideas, and then pick out one of the old episodes that you have collected and study it carefully.

Ask me what is the next world? I didn’t think about it well either. The outlines are all prepared for fixed plots. However, considering that there are too many battle plots in the Holy Grail Volume, the next world will be chosen as a relaxing, low-force world with less high-intensity battles, just like traveling.

Well, the next volume update should be in the early morning of the fifth day of the Lunar New Year...probably.

Once again, Happy New Year everyone!
