Chapter 13, Return to Diagon Alley

On September 1991, 9, Travis was packing.

Beside, an oversized blue cat was causing trouble, typing furiously at a magic book.

This blue cat is a snow leopard, but Travis gave it a new skin to make it easier to carry.

"Meow, don't make trouble, or I will turn you into a cup and pour Coke into it."

Meow Meow was its name. After hearing what Travis said, Meow Meow stopped biting and glanced at Travis, then held the magic book and used its shadowless feet to kick wildly with its hind legs.

Travis sighed helplessly, this little guy was a little too naughty.

In the past 20 days or so, Travis could be said to have eaten and lived with Miaomiao every day, accompanying him for more than 20 hours a day, and was very attentive to him. Only then did Miaomiao accept him.

But because of this, this little guy was somewhat spoiled by Travis. Not to mention a magic book, the kind that even Travis can’t bite hard enough after playing crazy.

In order to exercise its hunting ability and wildness, Travis even asked the housekeeper to drive to buy live chickens and ducks. During that time, the basement was full of chickens, dogs, cats, and leopards.

After putting all the other things into the oversized suitcase that was almost as tall as a man, Travis came to Meow Meow and knelt down and stretched out his hand towards it.

Meow Meow blinked, then let go of the magic book and whined at Travis' hand.

"Your uncle's"

After forcefully opening Meow Meow's mouth and taking out his hand, Travis pushed Meow Meow to the ground with his backhand and grasped the flesh of its fateful back neck.

"Today, I will imitate Wu Song and fight."

Travis gave Meowth a brain-destroying blow.

Meowth suddenly whimpered.

"giao"

Travis:

"You really deserve a beating with your screams."

He grabbed Meow Meow's front paws and rubbed its furry face crazily with its furry paws. After playing with it for a while, Travis picked up the magic book on the ground.

"hiss"

Travis, who was about to pack the magic book into his suitcase, took a breath, because the meow actually climbed up his back and onto his shoulders.

In other words, it’s useless if Travis is still wearing a thick coat. This is a snow leopard, not a cat.

"Can't you kid be wise about your weight?"

Travis gently pinched Meow Meow's neck and shook it, and his other hand couldn't help but touch his back and drag its butt.

"Fortunately, I asked my uncle to give me a special anti-scratch vest, otherwise my back would have been riddled with holes."

"Wait, I'll buy a dragon hide vest when we get to Diagon Alley later. I want to see if you can still catch me."

"giao"

After playing with Miaomiao for a while, Travis fitted Miaomiao with a special cat-walking leash.

The collar of the dog walking leash is installed around the neck, but it is very ineffective when used on cats.

If it is too tight, the cat will be uncomfortable. If it is slightly loose, the cat will be able to break free.

The collar of this cat walking leash is not on the neck, but on the front legs. Even a cat that is said to be liquid cannot break free, and the cat will not be hurt even if it struggles.

The only thing you need to worry about is that Meow Meow is much stronger than an ordinary cat.

Meow, who is already four months old, is close to half of Travis's height even if his tail and body length are not included. If he struggles with all his strength, it will take a lot of effort even if Travis is very strong.

"gone."

Travis tugged on the rope.

But Meow Meow was like having a convulsion. He was still bouncing around just a moment ago, but as soon as he put on the cat walking leash, he became instantly paralyzed and motionless.

"Yeah, I really owe it to you to raise a little ancestor."

Tying the rope to his belt, Travis lifted Meow up hard so that his front paws and head hung on his shoulders, and then freed one hand to pull the brown suitcase out of the room.

When we arrived at the door, the housekeeper had already prepared the car, and he would be the driver today.

Uncle Bell didn't come to see him off. I don't know whether it was because he felt too embarrassed to see people after drinking too much last time or because he was busy.

The old butler drove a little slowly, but fortunately he was very steady. The journey to the candy store was uneventful. Travis asked the butler to help look after Meow Meow, and then got out of the car alone and pulled out another oversized black suitcase from the trunk. Into the store.

There was no one in the store today, maybe because the children in the Muggle world were about to start school.

"Do you still need us to open the door for you this time?"

The store manager grandma smiled and joked.

"I'll try it first, and if it doesn't work, I'll ask you two for help."

The old lady nodded: "I wish you success."

"Thank you."

Walking inside with ease, he happened to meet Grandpa Robert on the way. Travis said hello and continued walking forward, taking out his wand from the inner pocket of his coat as he walked.

He tapped the remembered location on the wall with his wand, and a passage suddenly appeared on the wall.

There is only a simple detection spell on this wall, which can be verified by tapping the wand on the right location.

After all, this wall is just to prevent Muggles from breaking in, and it is not a security measure.

Coming to Diagon Alley again, and coming in alone without anyone watching, Travis decided to let himself go and buy, buy, buy.

But before that, Travis needs to change some money so that he doesn't run out of money. This business is only available in Gringotts.

Gringotts is the tallest building in Diagon Alley. The snow-white buildings stand very conspicuously in a crooked manner. Travis walked all the way and finally stopped in front of the silver inner door of Gringotts.

There are some words on the door:

Come in, stranger

But you have to be careful what happens if you are greedy.

Blindly demanding and getting something for nothing will be punished most severely.

So if you want to take from our underground vaults a fortune that was never yours,

Be careful not to bring treasures, but evil rewards.

“It seems so reasonable, but it’s so bluffing.”

Travis was very disdainful in his heart, and felt that writing such a vague and confusing slogan would be more of a deterrent than directly writing legal provisions.

"I'm just trying to be mysterious. When I get bored one day, I'll inherit my father's legacy and steal your place."

Travis grunted and continued walking forward.

There are many people inside, or to be precise, there are many goblins.

Some were walking around with things, some were pulling small carts to transport something, and more goblins were sitting behind long tables handling some precious gems or other equally precious items. Their status was clear at a glance.

Seeing the busy goblins, Travis was very happy.

In the past, due to the lack of interaction with peers, the people around him were taller than Travis.

But when it comes to Gringotts, Travis is a chicken head

"Hello, I'd like to exchange pounds for some galleons." Travis walked to the highest counter and said to the goblin above.

This goblin looks like a scheming bitch at first glance. I don’t know how many layers there are behind the table or whether he is actually standing on the stairs.

"5 pound to 1 galleons, how much do you want to exchange?"

"Just a little exchange is enough. Help me exchange it for 200 million Galleons."

Travis took out his wand and cast a levitating spell on the suitcase before placing it on the counter.

jingle bell jingle

The goblin on the high platform disappeared instantly and seemed to have fallen.

The entire hall fell silent at this moment, and all the goblins stopped what they were doing and looked at Travis blankly.
