HP wants to be boss at Hogwarts

Chapter 2 Hogwarts Admission Notice

??

"Get up! Get up! Hurry!"

Aunt Petunia was outside banging on the door.

Mino got up from the bed with difficulty, and then shouted loudly: "I know! Auntie!"

Minnow had been staying at the Dursley's for almost ten years, and she found that her face looked more and more like Lily. Aunt Petunia often looked at her face in trance.

Minnow knew Aunt Petunia was thinking of her sister.

Minnow lived in the small room at the end of the corridor, and Harry lived in the storage room under the stairs.

This may be a qualitative change caused by the difference in face.

Minnow packed himself up and walked down the stairs. Harry was already in the kitchen, flipping bacon.

"Mino."

"Oh, Harry."

Minnow didn't know who came out first, she or Harry, but Aunt Petunia said that Harry was her brother, so she didn't say anything, but she still thought that she was the older one.

When Uncle Vernon came into the kitchen, Harry and Minnow were turning over the bacon - Minnow eating as he went.

Uncle Vernon was much more patient with the girl Minnow than he was with Harry, and was also gentler.

"Comb your hair!" he growled at Harry, his morning greeting.

"And Mino, put your bangs down."

"But my bangs are too long, Uncle Vernon."

Mino said, arranging her hair. Both her and Harry's hair grew very fast. Harry still needed to get a haircut once a week. Mino was a girl, so she tied her hair up, but this time The child has reached the waist.

Mino was very happy to be able to feel the effect of magic on his body. At least he could prove that he was not a squib, right?

Today is Dudley's birthday, which is when the story begins. Minnow clearly remembers that she and Harry are both old, so it should be today.

Minnow and Harry put the plates of omelettes and bacon on the table together, which was not easy as Dudley was counting his gifts.

Dudley's face fell.

"Thirty-six," he said, looking up at his parents, "two less than last year."

"Honey, you haven't counted the gift Aunt Maggie gave you. Look, it's under the big bag your mother and father gave you."

"Okay, 37, then," Dudley said, his face turning red.

Harry could tell that Dudley was about to get so angry that he would overturn the table. He immediately devoured his portion of bacon and gave Minnow a plate as well.

Aunt Petunia obviously smelled the danger signal and said quickly: "When we go to the street today, I will buy you two more gifts. How about it, honey? I will buy you two more gifts. Is that okay?"

Mino felt a little emotional. On her and Harry's birthdays, Aunt Petunia would pick a small daisy in the garden and give it to her.

And she would quietly pick more flowers and make a garland for Harry.

Dudley was still calculating: "Then I have thirty...thirty..."

"Thirty-nine," Minnow said after swallowing the bacon.

"Of course I know it's 39!" Dudley glared at Mino, then grabbed the gift bag closest to him, "Okay then."

Uncle Vernon chuckled.

"This brat is counting his income, just like his father. You have it, good boy, Dudley!" He ruffled Dudley's hair.

At this time, the phone rang, and Aunt Petunia ran to answer it. Minnow was not in the mood to watch Dudley open his gift bag, so he wiped his mouth and kicked Harry under the dining table.

"What's wrong?" Harry asked Mino in a low voice.

"Do you think we'll see Mrs. Figg's old cat at her house today?"

"Oh," Harry said with a bad look on his face, "I don't want to smell cabbage."

Aunt Petunia quickly returned from the phone call, looking angry and anxious.

"Bad news, Vernon," she said, "Mrs. Figg broke her leg and can't come to pick them up."

Minnow could see that Harry was very happy, but she still liked staying at Mrs. Figg's place. Although it smelled like cabbage, the bed was very soft and comfortable, and she usually slept all day long.

Probably it was the past 996 life that made her cry bitterly.

Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon discussed it and talked about them in front of Harry and Minnow, but at least Minnow didn't say that too much.

Harry proposed to stay at home with Minnow, but Aunt Petunia disagreed and looked like she had eaten a lemon, which made Minnow want to laugh.

In the end, there was no result from the discussion. Dudley's best friend, Pierre Porches, came with his mother. He had no choice but to take Harry and Minnow to the zoo.

Before setting off, Uncle Vernon called Harry and Minnow aside to give them a good warning.

After getting in the car, Mino and Harry gathered together and chatted quietly.

"Why do they always think we did those things?"

"Maybe we really have magic?" Mino smiled slyly.

"Oh, stop joking."

Minnow looked at Harry with a half-smile.

When the Dursleys bought a large chocolate ice cream for Dudley and Piers, the ice cream girl asked Harry and Minnow.

Originally I didn't plan to buy it for two people, but I had no choice but to buy Harry a cheap lemon popsicle.

When Mino blinked at Aunt Petunia, Petunia seemed to have thought of something and awkwardly bought Mino a strawberry ice cream.

Mino and Harry walked behind, Mino gave half of his ice cream to Harry.

"It seems like there are benefits to looking like mom." Mino said to Harry while licking the ice cream.

"Did Dad do something bad?" Harry blinked his big wet eyes and looked at Mino.

"Maybe... he's too good-looking..." Mino muttered in reply.

"what?"

"Nothing, look at that gorilla, does it look like Dudley?"

This was the most comfortable morning I have had in a while. Both Harry and Mino had a great time.

During lunch, because Dudley thought the sundae wasn't big enough, he bought a bigger one, so Harry and Minnow split the original sundae.

After lunch, we went to the Reptile House.

Minogue especially wanted to try whether she could talk to snakes, but when the Dursleys and Harry were looking at the largest python, she took a few steps to the side.

Inside the glass was a colorful, very flashy python, not too big, about twice as thick as Mino's arm.

Mino tapped the glass lightly.

"Hello."

The python raised its head, and Mino looked into its eyes, and unexpectedly felt that it seemed to be saying hello to him.

"Do you have a name?"

The python said no.

"Then let me choose one for you. What do you think of the name Cuihua... Oh, you are a male. What do you think of the name Fugui?"

Before Mino and the python could get in touch, Harry was pushed to the ground by Dudley. Then, the glass in front of the python disappeared, and the python crawled out, scaring Dudley and Pierre away.

Minnow heard the python and Harry say thank you.

"Goodbye, Fugui." Mino said to the python, and then walked towards Harry.

Pulling Harry up from the ground.

"what happened?"

"I have no idea……"

Peel told Uncle Vernon that the python had talked to Harry, which made Uncle Vernon very angry. When he got home and Peel left, he locked Harry in the storage room and refused to give him food.

After the Dursleys fell asleep, Minnow slipped out of the room, opened the door of the storage room and let Harry out, and then the two of them had a late-night snack in the kitchen.

"Don't be anxious...just wait until September after the summer vacation..." Mino said vaguely while eating.

"Of course, by then we'd be in middle school and we could leave."

Mino knew he wasn't in middle school, but he didn't refute Harry.

Time passed day by day, and Mino also counted the time. In her vague memory, she could vaguely feel a little bit of time information.

Mino will be sent to an ordinary middle school, while Harry will be sent to a five-year vocational school.

That day was the time when Aunt Petunia was buying Harry Dudley's old school uniforms - Minnow's uniforms were very cheap and Aunt Petunia was happy to spend the money.

Mino had been waiting behind the door very early. Harry was a little puzzled by her behavior. She just said she had nothing to do.

Finally, the mailbox clicked and some letters landed on the doormat.

Mino picked up the letter and looked directly at the two letters.

One letter read:

Surrey

Little Whinging District

4 Privet Drive

storage room under stairs

Mr. Harry Potter receives

Another letter read:

Surrey

Little Whinging District

4 Privet Drive

The small room at the end of the corridor on the second floor

Accepted by Miss Minnow Porter

Before Minnow could check the Hogwarts school badge on the back, the letter was snatched away by Dudley.

"Dad, Daddy! Minnow and Harry got the letter!"
