Chapter 3 Hagrid
??
"That's for me and Harry!"
Mino expressed that she was very depressed. She was so excited that she was snatched away by Dudley without noticing.
"What? A letter to us?" Harry was shocked.
"Who's going to write you a letter?" Uncle Vernon sneered, shaking the paper away with one hand and glancing at it, his face turning from red to blue faster than a traffic light.
Mino probably knew what was inside, and shouted loudly: "What is written in this?"
Uncle Vernon ignored Minnow, and just called Aunt Petunia. The two of them read the letter together, and then their expressions turned bad.
Harry and Minnow clamored to read the letter, but Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia kicked Harry and Minnow out, along with Dudley.
Harry wanted to peek through the keyhole, but Mino grabbed him and dragged him upstairs and into the small room.
"The letter is for us?" Harry gasped, his face slightly rosy.
"Yeah, and they know you live in the storage unit and I live in the den," Minnow said with a smile.
"I want to know what's in the letter."
"Harry," Mino called, "Do you always dream of some strange images? For example, a flying motorcycle and a dazzling green light."
"Yes, I told you, Mino, you also dreamed about it, didn't you?"
"I also dreamed about other things, maybe it was a prophetic dream. Harry, I didn't believe it at first, but the letter was really sent, and the content inside was our admission notice!"
Harry was extremely surprised: "Admission notice? What are you talking about, Minnow?"
Mino hissed, and then whispered: "It's the admission notice from the Academy of Magic. Harry, do you believe me?"
Harry nodded without hesitation.
"This is what I saw in my dream. It is exactly the same as the picture in the dream, and the content of the letter must be the same. That's why I will wait for the letter behind the door this morning, because I want to see if my dream can come true. "
"Oh my god," Harry rubbed his face, "can we do magic?"
Mino nodded happily: "Yes, then those strange things can be easily explained. Remember, when the bad guys wanted to bully us in school, the ceiling fan in the classroom suddenly fell down."
That evening, after Uncle Vernon came back from get off work, he came over to tell Harry and Minnow that they had sent it to the wrong address.
Under Minnow's instructions, Harry did not say anything, but kept asking Uncle Vernon to give him the letter.
After Uncle Vernon lost his temper, he gave Harry Dudley's other bedroom.
But the next day, the letter came as usual, and the address changed to the smallest bedroom on Privet Drive.
Minnow didn't let Harry and Uncle Vernon grab the letter and pulled him upstairs.
"Hey, they know where I live."
"Of course, they can do magic."
The two of them sat on the bed, dreaming about the future together, a future with magic.
The next day, Uncle Vernon nailed the mailbox shut.
But the letters still came in from different places, the crack under the door, the crack beside the door.
Uncle Vernon boarded up all the cracks again.
But on Saturday, things started to get out of control. 24 letters addressed to Harry and Minnow have found their way into the Dursleys' home.
The letters were rolled into small rolls, hidden under two dozen eggs, and handed to Aunt Petunia through the living room window by the unsuspecting milkman.
During this period of time, both Harry and Minnow were exceptionally calm, which pleased Uncle Vernon.
Harry trusted Mino very much. Naturally, he believed Mino's words [-]%.
Finally on Sunday morning, the magical scene appeared.
The envelope shot out of the fireplace like bullets, and Minnow quickly pulled Harry into the corridor to avoid being hit by the envelope.
Uncle Vernon looked very unhappy, and Minnow reasonably believed that this was partly because Uncle Vernon had been hit by the envelope.
Within 5 minutes, everything was packed up and Uncle Vernon took them to the outskirts of a big city and parked the car in front of a dark and gloomy hotel.
Mino asked to live in the same room as Harry. At night, the two of them lay on the bed together and looked at the damp ceiling, feeling extremely excited.
Because Mino said that someone would appear later and that person would lead them into the magical world, so Harry was not nervous at all.
The next day for breakfast they had stale cornflakes and canned cold potatoes on toast. As soon as they finished eating, the hotel proprietress came over.
"Excuse me, are there Mr. Harry Potter and Miss Minnow Potter among you? The front desk has received probably two hundred letters like this."
She held up a letter so they could read the address written in green ink:
cockworth
Railroad View Inn
Room 17
Mr. Harry Potter receives
Uncle Vernon took them to the cabin on the rock again. Because of the heavy rain, the black ocean looked scary.
"Is daddy crazy?" Dudley screamed.
But there was no way, the whole family entered the cabin together.
Mino felt that if the wind was stronger, the cabin would be blown away.
Today is Monday, and tomorrow is Tuesday, which is Harry and Minnow's birthday.
The two of them cuddled together and leaned against the wall, the floor making their flesh ache.
Neither of them planned to sleep, looking at the expensive watch on Dudley's chubby wrist, waiting for midnight to arrive.
The wind and waves roared outside, and Mino was immediately frightened. Harry comforted Mino, and the two of them looked at the hands together, waiting for the time to arrive.
Mino counted silently in his mind.
three - two - one -
boom!
The whole cabin was shaken, and Harry and Mino sat up and stared at the door.Someone was banging on the door to come in.
Mino hurriedly opened the door before waking up the others.
Uncle Vernon was awake and pointing his gun at the door.
"Mino what are you doing!"
Mino saw the person standing outside the door, with disheveled hair, tangled beard, and eyes like black beetles.
"Hello, little Mino." Hagrid smiled at Mino.
He trudged into the house, his head scraping against the ceiling.
Mino closed the door to prevent the cold wind from entering.
"Can you bring me a cup of hot tea? It's not an easy journey..."
Hagrid strode over to the sofa, where Dudley sat petrified.
"Hey, make some room, you silly big guy," said Hagrid.
Dudley screamed and ran and hid behind Aunt Petunia, who was so frightened that she crouched behind Uncle Vernon.
"What's your name?" Mino tugged at Hagrid's clothes.
Hagrid laughed: "My name is Rubeus Hagrid. You and your mother look so alike - that's Harry, right? He looks very much like his father, but his eyes are like his mother - your eyes are like dad."
Uncle Vernon let out a strange, shrill scream.
"I want you to leave immediately, sir!" he said. "You are breaking into a private house!"
"Oh, shut up, Dursley, you big fool," said Hagrid, tying Uncle Vernon's gun into a knot and throwing it into the corner of the room.
Harry came over and stood with Mino.
Hagrid turned and looked at Minnow and Harry with a smile.
"I wish you a very happy birthday. I have something here for you. I may have crushed it in some places, but it still tastes the same."
Hagrid took out a slightly flattened box from the inner pocket of his black coat.Mino opened it happily, and inside was a large sticky chocolate cake with green soup writing on it: Happy birthday to Harry and Mino.
"Thank you, Hagrid."
"You're as brave as your father." Hagrid chuckled.
“Because you seem so relatable.
Hagrid continued to laugh, then lit the fireplace, and the room suddenly became warm. Mino and Harry approached the fireplace together, and were then pulled by Hagrid to sit on the sofa.
Hagrid went back to making tea and grilling sausages.
Minnow and Harry shared the cake, and then took the grilled sausages from Hagrid.
Dudley looked very greedy, but Uncle Vernon warned Dudley not to take Hagrid's things, and Hagrid laughed at him as expected.
Harry hesitated and asked, "I'm sorry, but I still don't know who you are?"
"Just call me Hagrid," said Hagrid. "That's what everyone calls me. I'm the Keykeeper and Gamekeeper of Hogwarts - of course, you should know about Hogwarts, right?"
"Hmm - I don't know." Harry said, "Is it the Wizarding Academy? Minnow once dreamed that you would come to us."
Hagrid looked very surprised, partly because Harry didn't know about Hogwarts, and partly because Harry said that Minnow had dreamed that he would come to them.
"I think it was a prophetic dream. I also dreamed that a letter would be delivered." Mino explained.
Hagrid looked away from Minnow: "Let's talk about this later, I will tell Dumbledore."
Then he turned to the Dursleys and glared at them: "This kid doesn't know anything, does he? Is this how you take care of him?"
Already when Harry was talking about Minnow's precognitive dream, the Dursleys were trembling with fear, and they were even more trembling under Hagrid's roar.
"Hagrid," Minnow tugged on Hagrid's clothes again, "I want to know about our parents. Did our parents also go to Hogwarts?"
"Of course, your parents learned everything at Hogwarts." Hagrid turned his head and looked at Minnow kindly.
"What are they like?" Harry asked.
"They are all famous. Of course, you are also famous." Hagrid smiled.
"They are wizards, right?" Mino blinked.
"Of course, you will also become excellent wizards in the future."
Harry looked a little excited, and Hagrid took out the two letters.
Mino and Harry reached out and took the pale yellow envelope.
Mino's letter was written in emerald green ink: The sea, the hut on the rock, on the floor, received by Miss Mino Porter.
Pull out the letter, it says:

Mino felt unparalleled excitement.
"That's for me and Harry!"
Mino expressed that she was very depressed. She was so excited that she was snatched away by Dudley without noticing.
