HP wants to be boss at Hogwarts

Chapter 98 Going to the Burrow

At twelve o'clock at noon the next day, Harry and Mino had packed the boxes they were going to take to school, and were waiting for Ron and the others to arrive.

The atmosphere in the house at No. [-] Privet Drive was extremely tense.A diverse group of wizards will soon be visiting their home, leaving the Dursleys feeling irritable and jittery.Uncle Vernon looked shocked when Harry told him that the Weasleys would be here at five o'clock the next day.

"I wish you'd told them to dress appropriately, there's nothing you can say about those people." Uncle Vernon growled immediately, "I've seen what your kind wear. They'd better wear normal clothes, then That’s what’s appropriate.”

But Minnow and Uncle Vernon said, "My boyfriend George, I can't get him to wear normal clothes, you know his temper."

Mino had already greeted George in advance and asked him to act fierce.

Uncle Vernon put on his best suit.In some people's eyes, this might be a sign of welcome, but Harry and Minnow knew that Uncle Vernon did this to make himself look distinguished and domineering.

During lunch almost no one spoke, and Dali didn't even protest about the food.Aunt Petunia ate nothing; she crossed her arms, pursed her lips, and seemed to chew on her tongue, as if chewing up the angry rebuke she hoped to throw at Harry and Minnow.

"They must be driving here, aren't they?" Uncle Vernon asked sharply across the table.

"Yeah." Harry replied.

Minnow glanced at Harry.

"Probably so," Harry said.

Uncle Vernon snorted and puffed on his beard.

Minnow didn't feel the need to tell Uncle Vernon that the Weasleys were expected to come out of the chimney, but she did break open the fireplace in the afternoon.

This made Uncle Vernon very angry and wanted to ask Mino what he was doing. Mino told Uncle Vernon that it was to make it better for the Weasley family to come here.

This success made Uncle Vernon suspicious of how the Weasleys got here.

But soon he no longer had any doubts, for one by one the Weasleys emerged from the fireplace.

"George!" Mino happily ran over and hugged George, "Long time no see!"

"I think about you every day."

"Me too."

"Oh!" Fred made an exaggerated expression on the side.

"You—" Uncle Vernon stared at Mr. Weasley.

"Ah - you must be Harry and Minnow's aunt and uncle!" Mr. Weasley looked at Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia warmly, "I'm so sorry, I connected your fireplace to the floo network. We got together - just this afternoon, you know, to pick up Harry and Minnow. Strictly speaking, Muggle fireplaces are not supposed to be connected to the Internet - but I have one in the Floo Network Management Group that works. An acquaintance, he helped me get it done. Now I want to light a fire and send the children back."

"Mr. Weasley, we don't have a fireplace at home. We use an electric stove. I knocked the fireplace open. Can you please help me restore it for a while?" Mino asked politely.

"Electric stove? Electric one?" Mr. Weasley's voice was obviously excited, "Of course, after I send you away, I will restore the fireplace and then Apparate away."

"Thank you." Mino smiled.

"Where is your luggage?" Mr. Weasley asked cheerfully.

"It's upstairs." Harry said, smiling at him.

"Let's move it down," Fred volunteered immediately.

He left the living room with George, who both knew where the bedroom was.

Mr. Weasley continued to try to talk to Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia.

Minnow ran to the bedroom to find George.

"Hey, you're not fierce enough." Mino poked George's cheek.

"I can't be cruel in front of you, Mino." George lowered his head and rubbed Mino's forehead with the tip of his nose.

"Oh, God, I shouldn't have come up here," Fred said.

"Harry's luggage is next door." Mino waved his hand.

Fred hurriedly left Mino's bedroom.

"You've grown taller, haven't you?" George compared Mino's height.

"Of course, I have been working hard to grow taller this summer!" Mino said proudly, "But you are too tall and I can't catch up with you."

"You don't need to catch up with me, as long as I keep my head down."

Minnow laughed and touched George's lips.

"Hey, I think we should go down there." Fred poked his head out of the door.

"Let's go." Mino took George's hand, and George picked up Mino's luggage.

Downstairs, Mr. Weasley was still trying hard to talk to Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia, trying to take advantage of Dudley.

After seeing the three Minnows coming down, Mr. Weasley lit the fire.

The fire crackled in the fireplace as if it had been burning for hours.Mr. Weasley took a lanyard bag from his pocket, opened it, took out a bit of Floo powder and threw it onto the flames. The flames turned emerald green and burned higher and fiercer than before.

"Fred, go ahead!" said Mr. Weasley.

"Coming," said Fred, "no, wait a minute."

A bag of sweets fell out of Fred's pocket and rolled all over the floor. Big, fat toffees, beautifully wrapped.

Mino immediately recognized what it was and covered his mouth to prevent others from seeing him laughing.

Fred crawled around and stuffed the candy back. Then he waved cheerfully to Dudley, walked forward, stepped into the fire, and said "The Burrow."Aunt Petunia was shaking and holding her breath. There was a "whoosh" and Fred disappeared.

"George, come on," said Mr. Weasley, "you and the suitcase."

Harry helped George take the suitcase into the fire. George winked at Minnow, then said "The Burrow", and with a "swish", George disappeared.

"Ron, you're next," said Mr. Weasley.

Only then did Mino realize that Ron had actually come over, and he hadn't noticed it at all just now.

"Goodbye," Ron said happily to Dudley, smiling and winking at Harry. He said "The Burrow" and disappeared.

Harry didn't understand what they meant, but Minnow understood very well. Although Fred and George didn't say anything, she already understood everything in the blink of an eye.

Now it was just Harry, Minnow and Mr. Weasley.

"Minnow, let's go first," said Mr. Weasley.

Minnow nodded and said to Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia, "Goodbye, Uncle Vernon, and goodbye, Aunt Petunia."

After a moment of hesitation, Aunt Petunia said, "Goodbye...Minnow."

Uncle Vernon reluctantly said "goodbye" after Aunt Petunia said so.

"The Burrow," Minnow called from the fire.

After a moment of spinning, Mino fell into George's arms.

"Has he eaten?" Fred asked excitedly.

"Fat tongue toffee? He will definitely eat it." Mino smiled.

There were two other people in the small kitchen that Minnow had never seen before, Bill and Charlie.

"Hello, George's little girlfriend." Charlie said to Minnow.

"Hello." Mino shook hands with Charlie.

Mino liked Charlie very much because of his dress and the rough feel of his palms. More importantly, Charlie looked more like George.

Soon, Harry came over and excitedly told what happened to Dudley after he ate the Fat Tongue Toffee.

"Awesome! We made it!" Fred happily gave George a high-five.

Before anyone could say anything else, there was a soft "bang" and Mr. Weasley came back, standing next to George's shoulder. He looked so angry that his face turned into a monkey's ass.

"That's no joke, Fred!" he yelled. "What on earth did you feed him?"

"I didn't give him anything," said Fred, with another sly smile. "I just dropped it... It was his own fault. He went over and ate it. I never asked him to. .”

"You dropped it on purpose!" Mr. Weasley shouted, "You know he can eat it, you know he is greedy..."

"How big has his tongue gotten?" George asked eagerly.

“It was four feet long before his parents asked me to shrink it.

Harry and the rest of the Weasley family burst into laughter again, and Minnow just leaned against George and smiled politely.

"It's not funny at all!" said Mr. Weasley. "That kind of behavior seriously damaged the relationship between wizards and Muggles! I spent half my life trying to dispel Muggles' misunderstandings about us, but my son -"

Fred said angrily: "We didn't give him the candy just because he was a Muggle."

"No, we gave it to him because he likes to bully weaklings," said George. "Right, Harry?"

George did not ask Mino, because Mino was not weak.

"Yes, he is, Mr. Weasley." Harry said seriously, although it was usually Dudley who got bullied when Minnow was around.

"That's not it!" Mr. Weasley said angrily, "You were waiting for me to tell your mother..."

"Tell me what?" said the voice behind him.

Mrs. Weasley had just entered the room and was looking at Mr. Weasley doubtfully.

"Hello, Harry, Minnow, darling," she said after greeting Harry and Minnow with a smile, and then quickly turned her eyes to her husband, "Arthur, tell me what?"

Although Mr. Weasley was angry, he would not tell Mrs. Weasley what happened. There was no need to worry about this, because Mrs. Weasley would scold Mr. Weasley as well.

Mr. Weasley is probably a bit of a henpecker.

"Oh, Ginny! Hermione!" Minnow shouted in surprise, running over and hugging the shoulders of Ginny and Hermione who had just entered.

"Tell me what?" Mrs. Weasley still asked.

"Nothing," said Mr. Weasley, "It's Fred and George. I had a row with them just now."

"What did they do this time?" asked Mrs. Weasley. "If this has anything to do with Weasley's Wizard Wheezes -"

"Why don't you show Harry where he sleeps, Ron?" Hermione said from the doorway.

"Oh, where will I sleep?" Minnow asked.

"Sleep with me," George said, before being tapped by Mrs. Weasley.

Mino laughed and mouthed "Next time" to George.
