A sharp Hogwarts

Chapter 13 At the Leaky Cauldron

In fact, Hagrid originally planned to take his two children to Diagon Alley alone to purchase school supplies.

But Petunia Dursley obviously wouldn't agree to it anyway. She still doesn't believe Hagrid's identity.

On the other hand, Hagrid, after being warned by Dumbledore, didn't quite believe in the Dursleys - he had heard what this family was like.

Wizards in the wizarding world just lack common sense, but they are definitely not stupid. Hagrid is not stupid enough to directly hand over the key to the Potter's vault to Petunia.

As for Mr. Dursley, he took Dudley straight back to No. 4 Privet Drive from the Reef Cottage. According to him, there were still a lot of troublesome things to clean up at home.

But everyone actually knew that Vernon wanted some time to digest all this:

Dalia is going to Hogwarts to study, and a witch is born in the Dursley family.

Near noon, Dahlia, Harry, Hagrid and Petunia finally arrived at Charing Cross Street in London.

"There, right? The Leaky Cauldron - the entrance to Diagon Alley. Isn't that too conspicuous?!"

Dahlia asked vaguely, turning her head as she grabbed a burger in one hand and a glass of Coke in the other.

Next to her, Hagrid was carefully holding a burger as if holding a macaron, lowering his head and asking Harry something.

They had just come out of a burger joint, and compared to Vernon Dursley's usual budget-consciousness, Petunia was obviously much more generous in her spending.

Even though she seemed reluctant, at Dalia's request, Penny opened her handbag and bought more burgers for three people - even though it was only the cheapest kind.

"The Leaky Cauldron? Um...where?"

Penny raised her head, looked in the direction of Dalia's arm, and frowned in confusion.

She only saw a large bookstore and a record store with people coming and going, but nothing else.

"Oh, you have to hold your mother's hand - she can't see it just by pointing like that."

Hagrid shrugged, swallowed the small burger in his hand, and explained with a grin.

"The Leaky Cauldron works magic that would normally be difficult for Muggles to notice."

"Okay, um-"

Dalia finished the hamburger in her hands in three times, wiped it on the corner of her clothes, and held her mother's hand.

"Dalia! Don't wipe it on your clothes after eating..."

Penny sighed helplessly, opened her handbag and took out a handkerchief to wipe her clean, when she suddenly stared blankly at the position directly in front of her.

Penny finally understood what Dahlia meant by "conspicuous."

A dingy, cramped bar appeared before her eyes as if it had always been there.

Compared to the bright and clean shops around it, this dirty little bar is as dazzling as ink on a white tablecloth.

"Oh, we'd better get in there quickly - we're a little too conspicuous."

Before Petunia could speak further, Hagrid held Harry with one hand and pushed Dalia and Petunia into the bar with the other.

As Harry and Hagrid entered the Leaky Cauldron, the owner accidentally revealed Harry's identity, and a small "fan meeting" soon took place in the small tavern.

Seeing all the wizards surrounding him, Hagrid smiled and pushed Harry, while he stood aside and watched the excitement with interest.

Petunia Dursley, on the other hand, clutched her handbag nervously, looking at the approaching wizards, glancing at Harry from time to time.

You know, although they didn't really starve Harry these years, they definitely weren't very good to him.

If Harry suddenly started complaining here, she and Dahlia would be in danger.

Almost at the same time that the wizards gathered around, Petunia Dursley clearly felt that Daria's hand holding her suddenly became stiff.

"Don't be afraid, don't be afraid...I'm here, I'm here."

Penny breathed a sigh of relief, patted the back of Dalia's hand, and whispered comfort.

"If something unexpected happens, don't worry about me, just keep your head down and run outside - they don't dare to cast spells in the world of normal people. Or let's leave here first..."

"It's okay, let's wait for a moment Harry -"

Dalia shook her head and stared at a pale young man not far away as if facing an enemy.

He was standing at the end of the "handshake queue" from a distance, looking very nervous, with one eye constantly twitching slightly.

Mrs. Dursley's guess was correct. She had indeed become nervous just now, but it wasn't because of the ordinary wizards surrounding Harry.

"Professor Quirrell!" Hagrid's voice rang, "Hey, Harry, Dalia, Professor Quirrell is one of the teachers who teaches you at Hogwarts. You just want to get to know each other in advance and say hello. At least leave a good impression on Professor Quirrell."

"Well, professor... hello, nice to meet you..."

Dalia twitched the corner of her mouth, glanced at Quirrell who suddenly looked over at the sound, and said hello stiffly.

"I'm Dalia, Dalia Dursley, Harry's cousin..."

Harry alone was enough for the "Voldemort Trap", but she didn't want to be targeted by Quirrell and his master from the very beginning.

Just because others didn't know it didn't mean she didn't know that Quirinus Quirrell was already controlled by Voldemort at this time.

Before long, he even had Voldemort clinging to the back of his head.

No matter how the world line changes, from the story of Hagrid and Petunia, one thing remains unchanged:

Voldemort is still the crazy, vicious murderer.

If Dumbledore had been present, Dalia might have considered exposing Quirrell's true identity on the spot and skipping directly to the finale.

But now the only wizard on her side is Hagrid, and he's the kind with extra points in physics.

Unless she was crazy, she would encourage Hagrid to deal with a Defense Against the Dark Arts professor who was guided by the remnant soul of the Dark Lord.

Perhaps before she could explain the whole situation to Hagrid, an Avada Kedavra flew over first.

Fortunately, Quirrell is obviously not interested in Dalia.

After he glanced casually this way, he focused more on Harry.

And Dalia also had more time to observe this unfortunate professor.

This may be the only safe opportunity for close observation in the next few months - next time we meet at Hogwarts, he will be [Quirrell-Voldemort] Two-Face. Dalia will not be naive to think that, The other party will deliberately avoid certain innocent pond fish when seeking revenge.

Dalia glanced across Quirrell's bald forehead.

Quirrell is not yet wrapped in that ridiculous purple scarf, which means that he has not become Two-Face yet.

Except for mixed-blood wizards like Hagrid, most wizards are not much stronger than ordinary people physically.

Even though she was looking at Quirrell so unscrupulously, he didn't seem to have any perception beyond ordinary people.

"Professor, what's the problem?"

At this time, Penny finally noticed Dalia's eyes, squatted down and asked softly.

"Are you worried about his stuttering, or do you think that person is a little weird? Anyway, try to stay away from him in school."

"His eyes, he looked nervous, but his eyes didn't wander - he was looking at Harry's."

Dalia shook her head slightly, took a deep breath, and turned her head to look at Penny who was squatting next to her.

"Mom, if...I mean if..."

"I want to bring a pistol to school..."

"Would you agree?"
