A sharp Hogwarts

Chapter 4 Hogwarts Letter

Cokeworth, Railway View Inn.

In the musty-smelling room, Dalia leaned against the window.

The firelight and the car lights outside the window fell on her body, creating a mysterious atmosphere.

"The murderer was a crazy and cruel dark wizard. He and his men killed many outstanding male and female witches at that time."

"On Halloween ten years ago, he came alone to the home where you and your parents lived and tried to kill your family."

"But for some reason, the dark wizard missed you after killing your parents. He lost his mana and disappeared, but you survived."

Dalia glanced at Harry, raised her finger and touched the lightning-like scar on his forehead.

"The scar on your forehead is no ordinary scar, Harry. It was the result of a very powerful dark spell."

"For hundreds of years, no one has survived this spell except you. You are the only one who survived."

"A very powerful... black magic?"

"Well, theoretically there is no death curse to break the curse: Avada Kedavra."

Dalia put down the toast in her hand, her expression became rarely solemn, and she answered softly.

Along with Dalia's story, some scenes that appeared from time to time in his past nightmares appeared in Harry's mind.

When Dahlia said the word "Avatar," a dazzling green light suddenly flashed, clearer than any time Harry could remember.

At the same time, something else occurred in Harry's mind - for the first time in his life, he heard a loud, cold, murderous laugh.

"The dark wizard destroyed your parents' house and killed all your blood relatives in the wizarding world."

"Although he has disappeared, his followers are still wandering around, looking for hope of a comeback."

"So, the headmaster of Hogwarts sent you to our home, hoping that you could grow up in a place without magic, and then wait until you are 11 years old..."

Dalia sighed with a complicated expression and reluctantly placed the envelope in Harry's hand.

"Hogwarts will open up to you and invite you back into the magical world."

"I think it's time you read this letter."

Harry subconsciously accepted the letter, but did not choose to open it immediately.

He raised his head in confusion and looked at Dalia, as if he had just met this cousin for the first time today.

"Dalia, why do you know this? Could it be that... you are also a wizard?!"

"No, I'm just a Muggle - well, what wizards call an ordinary person. As for why -"

Dalia shook her head slightly and looked at the reflection on the window. After hesitating for a while, she whispered with wandering eyes.

"A long time ago, I met a witch who was expelled from the wizarding world for leaking magic to Muggles, so she is now also called 'You-Know-Who'."

"Also called... YouKnowWho?"

"Oh, that vicious dark wizard, people are afraid to mention his name, so... he is also called the mysterious man."

Dalia casually explained that if she were not worried that too many spoilers might cause problems, she would be able to tell the ending in one breath right now.

"Then why-"

"Why do you have so many questions?! Didn't I tell you not to ask questions?!"

Before Harry could finish his second question, Dalia came back to her senses and looked at Harry menacingly.

"Don't be too pushy. How many questions have you asked?! You don't want to read the letter, right? Then return the letter to me quickly!"

As she spoke, she raised her right hand as if to grab the envelope.

"No more questions, no more questions—"

Harry subconsciously grabbed the envelope, said in a panic, and quickly hid on the other side of the window sill.

However, Dalia didn't really reach out to grab it.

After reaching out her hand threateningly, she returned to the chair by the window, roasting Harry's stolen midnight snack while watching the night fall in deep thought.

Anyway, she has now arrived in this... let's call it a magical world, right?

Anyway, after twelve o'clock tomorrow night, Hagrid's appearance will confirm most of her guesses about the future.

Even if she is not a wizard, with her foresight, she should still be able to remotely interfere with the direction of some events that have not yet happened.

As for the specific method and time node...

You shouldn’t have to worry about it in the first few years. If you want to avoid tragedies, you should start from the fourth year.

Oh, and by the way, that rat in year three is also a problem.

Calculating it this way, the second-year Dark Magic Defense Professor...

However, before that, she had to think about how to remind Harry, after all, this kid seemed to be a bit stupid all the time.

More importantly, she was just a Muggle.

While being in a safe position, it is difficult to directly affect the direction of the Magic World line.

Not to mention the old guy Dumbledore, it would be difficult for Harry alone - he is not a mindless puppet, and it is impossible to execute her plan perfectly.

On the other hand, the Butterfly Effect can severely impact her Oracle advantage.

If there is even the slightest flaw, it is very likely that the plot will go in an unknown direction.

This is simply like instructing a novice to cook through a video. A little carelessness may lead to more disasters.

Just as Dalia was silently recalling the plot of the original work and thinking about how to not affect the world line and avoid certain regrets, Harry suddenly came over again.

"That...Dalia..."

Harry held the letter and looked at his cousin shrouded in the moonlight with some embarrassment.

"This, this letter... do you want... to take a look?"

"No, I know what's written there."

Dalia frowned and waved her hand impatiently. She is busy now!

The bad British simple meals were a torture for food lovers. In order not to arouse the suspicion of her parents, she had to fill her own stomach.

Under Dalia's grilling, the little meat in the can of bacon came out sizzlingly, and it was barely a passable dinner when paired with boiled beans and toast.

Compared to the delicious food and the sorting out and planning of future major events, the little doubts of a certain child must be put aside for the time being.

As for curiosity and all that...

As a fan author of the Harry Potter series, Dalia can recite the contents of the letter with her eyes closed.

"But……"

"Okay, okay, okay - what's the problem this time?!"

Dalia sighed helplessly, she always forgot that Harry was just an annoying little kid under 11 years old.

"What's going on? Do you not know a word, or do you not know what 'waiting for your owl' means? Uh, wait -"

She turned her head and looked at the kid who had just opened the envelope and hadn't even completely pulled out the letter paper. She felt her temples begin to beat.

"You haven't even read the letter yet?! Dear Mr. Pott, can't you read it patiently first...and then ask questions?"

"But……"

Harry reluctantly glanced at the half-drawn piece of paper, thought about it, and stuffed it back again.

He came over and handed the envelope back to Dalia with a strange expression.

"This letter is for you, Dalia."

"Eh? What are you talking about? This is obviously——"

Dalia was stunned for a moment, before she finished speaking, her eyes were fixed on the writing on the front of the light yellow envelope.

In the dim light, the address written in emerald ink was faintly visible.

Surrey

Little Whinging District

4 Privet Drive

...These were roughly what she had scanned in the car before.

At the time she thought it was a copy of the numerous letters sent to Harry that were in the living room.

However, now that I take a closer look, the content below seems... slightly different?

"The second bedroom on the second floor by the stairs——"

Dalia murmured, "...Dalia Dursley?"

She took out the letter and read it softly by the firelight, as if the louder voice would scare away the words on the paper:

"Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore

(President of the International Federation of Magic, President of the Association of Wizards, Lord Merlin and Wizards)

Dalia put down the letter in her hand, and various thoughts exploded in her mind.

After a while, she raised her head in confusion and opened her mouth:

"So, this letter...is actually - my acceptance letter?!"
