The Lonely Dragon of Hogwarts

Chapter 1 St. Brelade

June 1991, St. Brelade's Church.

A dozen boys and girls in singing uniforms were busy in the chapel for the upcoming liturgy.

Among them, a young man with a slender figure, dark eyes, and black hair was particularly eye-catching.

He scurried around the church flexibly, sometimes helping others, and sometimes giving orders loudly, directing everyone to clean and decorate the church.

The strange thing is that although many of these boys and girls are older than him, everyone obeys the boy's words and does not dare to disobey him at all.

But he does have some abilities.

In just a short while, the originally messy chapel gradually became orderly under his command.

All his actions fell into the eyes of the nun.

The nun pursed her lips slightly, clasped her hands in front of her chest, and stared at the boy with a smile, her eyes full of admiration.

"Sister, John is truly the most handsome and capable young man I have ever seen!"

An extremely sighing male voice suddenly sounded. The nun turned back quickly, looked at the visitor with some surprise and joy and said:

"Mr. Oliver, you are the first to arrive again!"

"This is my duty as a believer!"

Mr. Oliver said this, making the sign of the cross.

The nun hurriedly returned the greeting. Perhaps because of their familiarity, the two of them did not continue to be polite, but continued to return their gaze and conversation to the young man.

"John should be released and start studying this year, right?"

"You are right, the time is indeed coming soon." The nun replied with a smile, "He is smart and eager to learn. He always picks up the knowledge I teach them, whether it is basic courses or doctrinal classics. The mastery is very good! Of course, the most important thing is that he is also very good at doing things for others!"

"That's obvious!"

Mr. Oliver looked at the busy young man not far away and said with admiration, "I'm thinking that after this summer is over, I might be able to sponsor him to go to Jersey Middle School for further education."

Hearing this, a look of astonishment flashed across the nun's face.

Jersey High School is the best high school on the island.

Those who can go to this middle school to receive education are the most outstanding children.

Even because of its excellent teaching staff, many people from outside the island come here because of its reputation.

Corresponding to its excellent teaching strength, the tuition fees of this school are also very high.

The nun who reacted hurriedly asked:

"Mr. Oliver, are you planning to adopt John?"

"I would like to do this, but it's a pity that you and the pastor are a little unhappy, right?" Oliver said with a smile, "After all, John is a child with real natural talents. I think what you mean is to train him as an heir. !”

Hearing Oliver praise John, the nun smiled even more happily, nodded and said:

"We are not saying that we must let him succeed St. Brelade in the future, but we want to train him into an outstanding clergyman. I believe you also understand that John has shown amazing talents in theology. Of course, As a child of God, he also has the right to choose his own future path."

Oliver laughed happily.

As a devout believer, he thought the same thing.

For an outstanding child like John, it would be the best thing if he could become a clergyman.

Because the talent and quality he displayed in this area are truly amazing.

Of course, if John has other ambitions, they will not stop him, but will do their best to support them.

This is his belief.

After laughing for a while, Oliver finally calmed down.

He was just about to continue saying something when he suddenly heard a male voice with a male duck's voice saying next to him:

"Dear Mr. Oliver, and Sister, please don't be fooled by that boy John Shafiq!"

Mr. Oliver and the nun turned their heads in surprise, and saw a young man who looked like he was in his early twenties and had a sharp mouth and monkey cheeks, standing beside them with his waist hunched over and an anxious look on his face.

The young man's hands only had four fingers, and they were severely deformed. They were split and spread out on both sides, resembling "scissors" or lobster claws.

"Gral, do you know what you are talking about?"

The nun frowned and scolded.

Seeing this, Graal shrank his neck and looked a little scared, but he still gritted his teeth and said:

"The Lord requires us not to deceive, so what I tell is the truth! John Shafiq is a rogue and bully! Don't look at his handsome and friendly appearance, but in fact he is full of bad water! You can't You can’t be deceived by him, he doesn’t deserve the education of St. Brelade’s Church at all!”

The nun's expression was becoming more severe. Graal knew that he didn't have much time left, so he hurriedly reached out and clamped Mr. Oliver's white sleeves and said:

"Mr. Oliver, you must not adopt or sponsor John Shafiq! Otherwise, your family will be in trouble!"

"Shut up! Graal!"

The nun shouted sharply, "You really disappoint me! John's outstanding performance is obvious to all of us. As his companion, you usually receive a lot of favors from him. But now, you dare to slander him like this!"

"Sister, I didn't..."

"I don't want to hear your excuses! I only want to ask you one thing. It's labor time now. John and others are working hard to help, but what about you? Why are you here? Have you finished your work?"

Graal clenched his fists and was speechless.

"You are lazy, playful, and slandering your companions. Is this what God teaches you?"

The nun continued to speak, Graal's head lowered lower and lower, until finally Mr. Oliver smiled, shook his head and stopped:

"That's all, nun, don't be angry. It's just a small conflict, not a big deal."

The nun was obviously still angry. It was only for the sake of Mr. Oliver that she did not continue speaking. She only glared at Graal with her angry amber eyes.

Graer also hurriedly retreated very wisely.

He had to go to work.

As the nun said earlier, now is the time for labor.

If he failed to complete his work, not only would the nuns be angry, but the priest would also impose severe punishments on him.

Looking at Graal's figure disappearing into the church, Mr. Oliver smiled helplessly and shook his head.

As a famous entrepreneur on the island, he has seen too many people like Graal.

This kind of person only knows how to make small calculations and is born with calculations. He looks very smart, but in fact he is stupid.

When you meet someone who is better than yourself, the fire of jealousy will naturally ignite in your chest.

This fire burned them extremely painfully, and in order to extinguish it, the calculations in their hearts would start to work, planning to destroy that outstanding person, or drag them back into the quagmire.

If I had to describe it, it would be like a crab that only pulls back the legs of its companions, arousing contempt and ridicule.

Mr. Oliver was sighing with emotion, but the nun next to him seemed a little angry.

She took a deep breath, waved and said:

"John, come here quickly, I have something to ask you!"
