Amidst the vast whiteness, a bit of black swayed from a distance.

Ace stood in this misty white, looking around blankly, not knowing where he was.

The swaying black spot in the distance quickly approached Ace. It was a black cloak that was billowed in the air by the wind. But Ace felt something was very wrong and took two steps back in fear.

But she couldn't avoid the cloak, and it quickly came to Ace's eyes.

When the cloak covered Ace's face, sticking tightly to every inch of her face, revealing a black face, Ace finally realized that something was wrong - there was nothing here. No wind!

A sense of suffocation and fear spread in Ace's heart. She tried to cast a patronus spell to expel this magical creature that looked like a cloak but was actually a Voldemort Bat, but she despairedly found that she couldn't cast it at all.

The blue light representing the Patronus Spell disappeared as soon as it appeared, not even a trace of it could be condensed.

The memories of being with the Foleys are mixed with endless sadness and pain, and they can no longer use them to summon their own patron saint.

The joy of these memories collapsed under the two unfamiliar faces in the small house in Godritt Valley.

When Ace felt that he could hardly hold on any longer, the scene suddenly changed.A couple wearing shabby clothes and a few people with blurry faces were moving quickly, looking around cautiously.

"Quick! Let's go!"

"Leave us alone and leave!"

"Our mission is to protect you when you return, not to get the news and leave."

"They're coming, hurry!"

The gentleman could only be identified as Mr. Foley from the familiar curly dark hair and gray-green eyes, while the lady with long light brown hair and light brown eyes looked exactly like Mrs. Foley.

Ace gasped for air. When she saw the scene in front of her, she couldn't help but shed tears. She was not familiar with these two unfamiliar faces. She had only seen them a few times in reality, but she had seen them countless times in her dreams.

This was the final appearance of Mr. and Mrs. Foley lying in bed.

"Dad, Mom!"

Ace ran, following their footsteps. They finally stopped and were blocked by several men in black robes.

Seeing those people casting the Cruciatus Curse on the fleeing Foleys, Ace collapsed and cried.

"Go away--go away!"

She stretched out her hand to push the Death Eaters away, but unfortunately her hand penetrated their bodies, pushed them away, and fell to the ground.

"You demons!"

"Do you want us to surrender just because of this!? We are not cowards like you!"

The Foleys clasped their hands and firmly resisted the Death Eaters' questioning and endured their cruel torture.

Even though their gums were bleeding from the pain and their fingernails were scratching on the ground, they didn't utter a single word related to where the Order of the Phoenix was hiding.

Ace frantically tried to disperse the Death Eaters, and even used his own body to resist the Cruciatus Curse, but unfortunately it had no effect at all - this was just her dream.

She tried to hug the Foleys again, blocking them with her body, but unfortunately, a piece of black smoke like ink escaped from the place she touched, and then condensed back - her hands penetrated them.

"Dad, mom——"

Ace fell down next to Mr. and Mrs. Foley, crying desperately.

"Ace! Ace!"

When he opened his eyes, Asta's worried face was revealed.

"Wake up, Ace!"

"What's wrong, Asta?" Ace raised his hand and touched his own tears, making the pillow soaked all over.

Asta sat on the edge of Ace's bed, reached for a handkerchief and gently wiped the tears from Ace's face. She looked at Ace with great concern.

"You've been crying, Ace, what happened?"

"It's nothing, Asta, I just had a nightmare."

"Really?"

"Really, Asta, I just, just dreamed about the Bogtree scene."

Asta sighed and stretched out his hand to straighten Ace's messy hair, "Ace, don't worry too much, okay? Those things will never happen, Principal Dumbledore is here."

Seeing Ace nod, Asta returned to his bed and continued to sleep.

Ace, on the other hand, opened his eyes and stared at the ginger Hufflepuff emblem on the top of the bed in a daze.Until Asta's steady breathing came from the bed, Ace gently lifted the quilt and slipped out with his slippers on.

As soon as he walked out of the long corridor outside the Hufflepuff lounge, Ace was hugged into a cool embrace.

"Severus..." Ace sighed, the smell of absinthe letting her know the identity of the person in an instant.

She reached out and hugged Snape's thin waist, burying her face under his black hair and into his neck.

Snape said nothing, standing quietly waiting for Ace to draw a sense of security from him.

"Why are you here?"

The warm breath spread on his neck, making Snape move. As the side of his neck vibrated, the boy's unique cold and deep voice also reached Ace's ears.

"Wait for you."

"How did you know I was coming?"

"Well, I just know."

"You just stood here for half the night?"

"Did you have that dream again?" Snape avoided the topic and asked Ace instead.

Wet eyelashes clung to the side of his neck, and he raised a hand to stroke Ace's long hair.

"Well, come with me for a walk, Severus." Ace replied softly, raising his head and smiling in the dim light.

Snape sighed and took Ace's hand, "Just this once."

Of course Ace understood that Snape meant for her to have a good rest, so she lowered her eyes and nodded.

As dawn approached, the two of them walked in the dim corridors of Hogwarts. Their black robes swayed across the stone tiles, making a subtle sound of fabric rubbing.

Mrs. Norris lay by the window of Filch's office and glanced lazily at the two of them, then continued to lie down and lick her soft hair.

Filch leaned on the recliner and fell asleep, snoring slightly, his shabby clothes piled on top of each other and wrinkled.

Ace winked playfully at Madam Norris and slipped out of the castle with Snape.

Hagrid's hut was shrouded in thick morning mist, with only the upper half visible, while only the faint shadows of trees could be seen in the Forbidden Forest farther away.

In the entire Hogwarts, the only ones awake now were Ace and Snape on the boulder in the Sundial Garden.

Well, maybe there are a few Ravenclaw eaglets who are addicted to books.
