The dull drum tower bell rang, and the sound of "dong" was melodious and beautiful.

After the sound, the eyes of little novice Jingxin suddenly lit up, and a happy smile appeared on the corner of his mouth. He immediately jumped up, waved his sleeves, and couldn't wait to invite the traveling five people to follow him to Wuguan Hall for a delicious vegetarian meal.

Of course, these little carrots cannot refuse food. After a bumpy journey, they originally went to Gaoshan Temple to seek protection and rest for a few days. Being invited by Jingxin, they all followed him towards the Five Views Hall.

The Five View Hall is a place in the temple specifically for monks and pilgrims to take meals. It is also one of the few favorite places in the temple to meditate. When everyone followed him into the Five Views Hall, they smelled a fragrant aroma that made people swallow their saliva.

Jingxin, a young novice monk, didn't even think about greeting the traveling five and headed towards the kitchen. Of course, while walking, he shouted, "I'm starving to death, uncle!" Uncle Master! What are you making delicious today? It smells so good! These flattering words.

Of course, he was kicked out by an older novice soon, but he would definitely not suffer a loss, otherwise he would just have half a cucumber in his hand. He was signaling to everyone whether they wanted to eat or not, so he could part with some.

"Don't be anxious, everyone! Sit down and wait for a while. The temple is hosting distinguished guests today. Master Qingyu is making the most famous Luohan Zhai. I haven't eaten it for a long time." Jingxin, the little novice monk, took a sip of saliva and only I can take a bite of cucumber to satisfy my craving.

The class representative said: Luohanzhai is also called Luohan cuisine, and the name of this dish comes from Buddhist scriptures. It is carefully prepared with more than ten kinds of top-quality dried and fresh fruits and vegetables, such as day needles, fungus, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, ginkgo, yam, chestnut, vegetarian chicken, gluten, green cabbage hearts, etc. The dishes are famous for their clear layers, bright colors, freshness and refreshing taste.

Soon the long table in Wuguantang was filled with all kinds of delicious vegetarian dishes, including stir-fried vegetables, vegetarian stir-fried tofu, braised eggplant and so on.

Of course, there are also a lot of food boxes packed in, which will probably be carried to the layman's dormitory later. Jingxin on the side didn't care that his dark eyes were wide open. He could hardly suppress his desire for delicious food. He did not hide his expression of being greedy and wanting to eat. From time to time, he would walk back and forth, scratching his head, and muttering: "It's not that bad! I'm all starving to death!"

What can the traveling five do as guests? Wait, I ate some solid food on the way here and I'm not too hungry, but I'm a little hungry looking at the dishes on the table. Wangcai was not feeling well at all at this time. He lay on the ground and curled his lips, probably thinking: There is no meat, so what is there to eat?

Soon, monks of different ages came to Wuguan Hall one after another. They were introduced by Jingxin novice and said hello to everyone. Although the traveling five were a little cautious, there was little monk Wuchen standing in front of them. There is much less pressure to deal with this kind of thing, and we are all waiting for dinner.

Of course, little novice Jingxin didn't care about this and slipped into the kitchen again, and soon came out with a smile on his face.

"Come on, come on, over here, over here, let's sit down quickly." Jingxin greeted the traveling five people enthusiastically, with a hint of excitement in his voice.

Fortunately, the table is long enough so that everyone can sit in a row.

People who arrived one after another began to find their own seats to sit down, and some people who looked like maids began to come over to receive the food boxes respectfully.

After waiting for a while, the final dish finally arrived, Luo Han Zhai’s late bloomer. The maid who received the food box also brought news that the abbot and several elders would not come over to eat. If there were distinguished guests, they would definitely accompany them. After all, all the money for incense in the temple depends on donations from these distinguished guests.

So what are you waiting for? Since the old-fashioned old abbot is not here, there is no need to pray. Everyone sat around the table. Master Qingyu, the elder of the chef, spoke and started eating. Everyone began to taste the vegetarian food.

Jing Zhen, the little toady, didn't forget to praise while eating: "This stir-fried vegetables is really delicious, the tofu is really delicate and tasty, and the eggplant is braised just right!"

The traveling five were also conquered by the deliciousness of these vegetarian dishes, and they nodded in approval.

The kimchi fermented by the clear springs in the mountains is one of a kind. This kimchi is crisp and tender, has moderate sweetness and sourness and is appetizing. It feels even more delicious than the finale dish Luohanzhai.

In particular, although it was the first time for the four people in Majia Village to eat vegetarian food, the carefully cooked dishes not only tasted good, but were also nutritious, making people feel full and refreshing. Seeing everyone's satisfied expressions, the little novice Jingxin felt filled with satisfaction and pride.

I have eaten and drank enough, but I can't forget Rhubarb, who has pulled everyone along and worked hard.

Hurry up and feed it some fodder and water, and comb its mane. Taking advantage of the sunny weather, I washed the clothes I had changed out these days and hung them to dry.

After a while, everyone settled down at Gaoshan Temple. After finishing their work, the young monk Wuchen was invited by the abbot to discuss Buddhism. There really isn't much to see in this temple. The murals looked pretty good at first, but when I heard the stories behind them, I cut my flesh or my wrists, which makes me panic even just thinking about it.

They gathered here at the lotus pond, and were accompanied by a novice monk of about the same size. The four people in Majia Village were not embarrassed. Feeding the koi in the release pond is better than passing the time at all.

Just when I was bored, I heard a rushing sound.

"Wang~oooo...~wuwuwu~wang."

This is the sound of Wangcai. I don’t know what’s going on. Go and have a look.

It turns out that Wangcai was attracted by the squirrel on the tree, and it was calling for help. But that squirrel is so nimble, shuttling between the branches like an elf in the mountains. Its tail is loose and fluffy, swinging gently with its movements, like a soft fan. From time to time, I stopped curiously and looked at Wangcai barking under the tree, as if to say, "Come on, chase me!"

This group of little carrots who had nothing to do excitedly decided to chase the squirrel to see if it would lead them to discover anything new. So, they all chased the squirrel along the winding mountain road.

The alert squirrel seemed to be aware of the intentions of the little carrot heads behind it. It jumped from one tree to another with a slight leap. Wangcai is below, "Wang~oooo...~oooooo~wang." urging these little carrot heads to follow quickly.

However, the speed and agility of squirrels are far beyond our imagination. It all passed by in a flash, and the path in the forest was not easy to walk. After continuing to chase through a dense forest, the little carrots suddenly realized that they had lost track of the squirrel. I looked around anxiously, trying to find the naughty squirrel, but no matter how hard I searched, there were no clues.

Just when the little carrot heads were about to give up, they discovered a wild peach tree not far away. The main thing is that this tree is tall and lush, with a thick trunk and lush branches and leaves. The trees are covered with many ripe peaches, which are bright in color, round in shape, and emit an attractive aroma.

Haha, does this count? I am lucky to get it, but I am lucky to lose it. I have no control over it at all.

The little carrot heads were attracted by these peaches, and they had long forgotten the squirrel. They couldn't help but approach the tree. Street runner Zhao Yun climbed up the peach tree with his hands and feet. He reached out and picked out the peaches that he thought were ripe and threw them down.

The little guys who caught it below couldn't wait to rub the fluff on the peach. When they bit it, the juice overflowed, which was sour and sweet. The little carrot heads ate it with gusto, as if all their loss and fatigue were cured by the sweet and sour peach.
