HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 416 The Curse of Mistakes

Grindelwald has always been a bold and bold person.

So when he pulled out his wand and pointed it at the auditorium over there, Artes didn't find it strange at all.

Of course, when he saw Dumbledore's sudden sharp gaze behind Grindelwald, he didn't feel surprised, and he just said to Grindelwald with a hint of gloating:

"The gentleman holding the wand, please look back at Dumbledore...the principal's expression."

Grindelwald's body froze involuntarily, and he subconsciously wanted to turn around.

The binding spell that was about to be released from his hand was deflected in this way.

The seats between the two were not far apart. Grindelwald was in the second row from the top, and Artes was in the fourth row from the top. They were just one row apart.

In that row sat Professor McGonagall, Professor Flitwick, Professor Sprout and Moody.

Professor McGonagall in the third row looked intently at the audience seat opposite, tilting her body slightly, just in time to avoid the spell, revealing Artes below.

After finishing speaking, Artes sat back, never expecting that Grindelwald, a wizard who had been famous for a long time, could make such a childish mistake.

The binding spell hit Asseth directly.

The curse caused violent fluctuations in magic power. Asseth's eyelids twitched. He felt that the magic power was attacking his body faster than his brain, and his fingertips quickly condensed silver-white magic power.

The spell cast by the mistake finally dissipated less than a foot behind Asseth.

But Asseth's magic was still on his fingertips. He turned his head in surprise, just in time to see Snape put down his wand with a livid face.

Sif...

After breaking up the spell of the sneak attack, the wand did not retract immediately. Instead, it was held vigilantly in the palm of its hand, pointed at Grindelwald in the back row intentionally or unintentionally.

Considering the occasion, Asseth said nothing.

His eyes wandered for a few seconds on the hand holding the wand with bulging veins, and then he slowly met Grindelwald's equally surprised look.

"Are you sneaking up on your colleagues? Or was it a mistake?"

Grindelwald didn't want to talk and wanted to apply to unilaterally cut off the communication between the two.

It would be better to kill him if he admits that he accidentally hit him.

He couldn't afford to lose face like this.

He couldn't sneak attack his colleagues. Being able to stay in Hogwarts ensured many things, one of which was that he couldn't attack teachers and students.

So he remained silent.

I plan to face the world with the all-purpose method of silence until I think of a suitable method.

After hearing what Asseth said, Professor McGonagall was very tired when she realized what happened later.

Before I could figure out what was going on in the messy situation in the auditorium, something went wrong again with my colleagues around me. What kind of colleagues were these?

She looked at Grindelwald, then at Artes, and finally at Snape and Professor Flitwick, who were holding wands, and suddenly felt her brain begin to throb.

"Put down your wand and talk nicely."

Professor Flitwick obediently lowered his wand.

He originally saw that Artes was going to be beaten and was ready to help, but he didn't expect that Severus, who usually didn't like to meddle in other people's business, would move faster than him.

Thinking of this, Professor Flitwick looked hesitantly at Snape, who had not yet put down his wand.

Severus was a little too nervous.

Professor McGonagall felt the same way, and she looked at Snape hesitantly.

"Severus? You..."

Before he finished speaking, Snape sneered and mocked: "If you can't even control the curse, then I suggest you study at Hogwarts again. Hogwarts will not reject every stupid wizard."

After saying that, he put away his wand and sat back without looking at Grindelwald's cold expression.

Professor McGonagall was worried that her colleague couldn't speak well, and she was racking her brains to find some remedy for Snape.

But Snape made it too clear that she really couldn't find anything to make up for, so she could only turn her attention to Professor Flitwick for help.

There was nothing Professor Flitwick could do.

Professor McGonagall sighed, and her eyes turned to Artes for help. You know, she had never seen Artes say anything bad.

It's a pity that Asseth is destined to disappoint her this time.

After being stunned for a moment, Artes, who had been placed so much hope on him, smiled meaningfully at Grindelwald, said nothing, and sat back down again.

...At least he didn't cause any trouble.

Professor McGonagall could only comfort herself in this way, and then looked at Grindelwald hesitantly, thinking about how to comfort this colleague.

Grindelwald was furious.

But he was wrong, and it was unreasonable to say it, so it was better to stop there.

After weighing the pros and cons, he persuaded himself with difficulty to bear this breath.

So, before Professor McGonagall could react, the matter was resolved inexplicably.

She sat down blankly.

Dumbledore, in the top row, started paying attention the moment Grindelwald raised his wand.

He also saw the following series of things. He was not surprised that Snape would take action to stop the curse, but he was surprised that Grindelwald did not act.

At this moment, Grindelwald's promise that day suddenly came to mind.

"Don't worry, Al. I promise you that I will not take action against any student or teacher at Hogwarts, and I will try not to have any conflicts."

Dumbledore knew Grindelwald too well.

I know very well how unruly and rebellious this person is. Even though he is old, he still has an astonishing rebelliousness.

He had spent so much effort and could not guarantee that Grindelwald would be obedient, but was Grindelwald abiding by their agreement now?

Apart from this possibility, he really couldn't think of any other reason.

The calm inner lake quietly ripples.

Grindelwald didn't know it yet, but his "suffering" was disturbing Dumbledore's calm heart.

Not long after the little episode passed, Dumbledore had almost finished speaking.

He sent the four players to the edge of the referee's box, where there was a space for the players to enter the water.

Four people lined up.

Dumbledore waved behind him, and the whistle signaled the start of the game.

The four of them got into position and jumped into the water together.

The rest of the wait is boring - there are no waves on the water surface, and you can't tell anything from the waves alone. The black lake is so deep that it looks almost black at first glance. It is impossible to see the bottom of the water.

So people on the water can only wait.

Five minutes later, there was no sound from the audience who had just been arguing about who would be the first to come up. The red-haired twins seized the opportunity, took out the prepared prank candies, and began to sell them openly.

This little bit of fun is better than nothing. The little wizards willingly paid for the galleons.

The friends were joking with each other, and from time to time they would catch the little wizards from other schools and colleges. For a while, the auditorium became lively again.

Since what happened just now, Professor McGonagall has been focusing on the auditorium and the colleagues around her.

Now when the red-haired twins moved, she immediately caught the red hair.

"I knew it was the two of them. Who else would be so noisy besides them."

Professor Flitwick nodded in agreement. He already had a deep understanding of the difficulty of managing twins by teaching them. Fortunately, he was not the Head of Gryffindor.
