HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 417 Game 2 is over

Next to me was the sound of Professor McGonagall, Professor Flitwick and Professor Sprout discussing how to manage students, and in the distance was the sound of the little wizards laughing and joking.

All the noisy sounds failed to affect Asseth's behavior - transmitting messages to harass the potion master.

If Snape had known that one of his casual actions would result in nearly twenty minutes of uninterrupted harassment, he would have preferred to pretend that he was blind just now.

"Shut up!"

Ace paused for a moment, then continued to transmit the message unaffected.

"Sev, it's good to have you."

Snape finally saw that this was as sticky as dog skin plaster.

He forcibly resisted the urge to pull out his wand, focused on the improvement results of various potions and areas that needed attention, and artificially shielded the people around him.

This method is surprisingly useful.

But it’s not that you ignore success, it’s that the nagging people around you shut up.

Thinking that Asseth was holding back something bad, he glanced suspiciously, but didn't see anything wrong.

Naturally, Artes didn't keep his mouth shut for any bad reason. He saw the thoughts unconsciously revealed in Snape's eyes and the slight frown on his brows.

Such an expression would only appear on a potion master who was preparing new or improved potions.

Aces himself is good at alchemy. He has two completely different states when entering the alchemy room and outside. Once he is immersed in it, he will have fleeting inspiration from time to time.

This kind of inspiration often determines everything.

How could he bother the Potions Master at this time? Not casting a silencing spell around him was the limit of what he could do.

The surroundings of the two gradually became quiet.

The little wizard not far away was also overly excited, holding his watch to calculate the remaining time.

Time passed little by little, and there was not much left before the one hour allotted for the game.

The little wizards in the audience were completely in no mood to chat, and were staring at the motionless water, praying that they would see the warriors of their school in the next second.

"Wow—"

The water surface suddenly exploded with several splashes of water.

Cedric and Krum showed their heads one after another, and they were holding two people carefully in their hands.

One is Qiu Zhang, and the other is Hermione.

After emerging from the water, they also woke up.

The four of them swam towards the shore together.

The little wizards at Hogwarts are still staring at the water, and there is still one person left.

The four people in front have already gone ashore, and there is still no movement in the deep black lake.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

Finally, a bunch of bubbles popped up.

Immediately afterwards, Harry emerged from the water. He seemed to be struggling, holding two people on the left and right. Ron woke up first and gave the exhausted Harry a hand.

The little girl also opened her eyes in a daze.

The three of them swam to the shore together.

Everyone's eyes fell on the delicate little girl. Her appearance was similar to that of Furong, and it was easy to guess her identity - Furong's younger sister.

"Gabriel! How are you?"

On the water platform on the shore, Fu Rong stretched out her hand in panic, pulled the little girl up, and held her tightly.

"Fortunately you're okay."

The little girl hugged her sister back obediently, her white hands shaking unconsciously due to the cold.

Fleur noticed it and was about to pull the blanket off her body and wrap it around the shivering little girl, when a warmth spell fell on the two of them first.

She looked up and saw that Asseth's eyes flashed when she saw the source of the curse.

Asseth didn't just throw the Warming Spell on them, he threw it all away equally.

He still remembered who made the potion.

Snape didn't say anything about Artes's behavior of throwing away the Warming Charm, but he curled his lips in pleasure.

Harry was delayed because he brought two treasures alone, which resulted in a timeout, so Dumbledore had to go to a brief discussion meeting.

A few minutes passed and the sound of discussion disappeared.

Dumbledore stood up, waved his wand, and after using magic to amplify his voice, announced the results of their discussion to everyone:

By a unanimous decision from several referees, not only was Harry not out, but he scored forty-five points.

The audience burst into fierce applause and cheers.

Dumbledore waited until the voices became quieter, then pressed his hands to suppress their voices, and continued to announce:

"Cedric from Hogwarts was the fastest and was the first to break out of the water, scoring forty-seven points."

"Durmstrang's Krum followed up with forty points."

"Beauxbatons' Fleur had to be eliminated early because she was attacked and received twenty points."

"Now, I declare that the second game is over. The last remaining game will be on June 24th. Please prepare yourself, warriors."

After Dumbledore finished speaking, warm cheers continued on the quiet black lake.

The students were cheering, and the professors quietly left the venue without anyone noticing.

Joel's letter was received after Asseth returned to the cellar. When he saw it, Aurora was already impatient with waiting. She got ink on her feet and stamped one footprint after another on the letter.

Since Aurora was smart and would not damage important letters, Asseth did not read the letter immediately, but took out the sweet and crunchy nuts from the ring.

A delicious fragrance suddenly appeared in Aurora's nose, so she stopped her destructive movements and followed the smell and walked to Ass in a daze.

Ace conjured up a small bowl and put the nuts in it, and Aurora ate the nuts happily.

Snape passed by and saw the dirty letter that had been stepped on, "This letter?"

"It's not important. Aurora is very smart and can judge the importance of a letter from the sender's face. Since it dares to do this, it means that Grandpa Joel doesn't take this matter seriously at all."

Snape raised his chin slightly and turned to go back to the potion room. When he looked at the black lake today, he suddenly had an idea.

Aces and him split up into two groups and went to the study room that had been converted from the utility room.

After a busy day, Asses rubbed the center of his brows to relieve the fatigue of his overused brain.

He always felt that he had forgotten something.

After going through the memories in his mind, Asseth remembered that there was a letter that he had not yet opened.

He waved his hand and used magic to levitate the letter.

There were mysterious and messy footprints on the envelope, and Asseth really didn't want to use his hands.

He simply waved his hand again and used magic power to open the envelope, revealing the neat letter paper inside.

The letter swayed and floated up on its own, hanging in front of Asseth, its corners still slightly curled.

There were a lot of words written in the letter, and the handwriting was clean and neat, with a hidden edge. You could tell the character of the writer at a glance.

Aces glanced over.

Most of them were concerned about his health and asking him about the auction house.

Only the last paragraph is different.
