Harry Potter: Glory Bows to Me

Chapter 14: The Hogwarts Express

"good to eat."

She invited Draco, "Come and try it too."

Draco seemed to have prepared himself mentally. He closed his eyes, resigned himself to his fate, scooped out a spoonful and put it into his mouth.

As soon as the spoon was put into his mouth, he opened his eyes wide in surprise and looked at the baked pudding on the plate in disbelief.

"Okay... I admit that Muggles are good at cooking."

Draco said with some pride.

Apparently this was his highest praise for Muggle cuisine.

Carina came over from the kitchen and patted them on the forehead. Of course, Draco seemed a little unhappy about this.

"Of course! Need I even mention my craftsmanship?"

Karina sat next to Amanta, held up her little face and looked at it carefully.

"Amanta... you are leaving. Of course, I am happy. That is where you should go. You belong there naturally. But... watching you grow up, I am a little reluctant to let you go."

Her upturned chestnut-brown eyes were filled with reluctance, and contrary to her usual practice, she pulled Amanta aside and chattered about many things.

Karina has always treated her as her own sister, so it’s inevitable that she feels a little reluctant to let her go.

"Remember to write to me, Amanta." Karina finally reminded her worriedly.

"Okay, I will definitely do it."

Amanta had always held a mentality of being independent of everyone. After all, she had witnessed the choices and endings of all the characters in several books.

She felt that she could control everything.

After all, she knew them and knew the whole story.

But at this moment, she suddenly felt for some reason that she also belonged to this world.

……

After spending a simple but pleasant time in Carina's cottage, Draco took Amanta to the orphanage again.

Dobby only then appeared, wiped the sweat from his brow, and handed a thick stack of books to Amanta.

"Thank you for your hard work, Dobby."

After helping Dobby, who was once again grateful, Amanta walked into the Taos Orphanage.

The lights in the orphanage had been turned off by then. The iron bars on the fence reflected a silver light, and a bright moon hung in the sky, serving as the only source of light.

Draco suddenly called out from behind her: "Amanta, next time...you can come to my house and try my mother's cooking."

"But that probably won't be until Christmas," he quickly added.

Is this an invitation? Although... Christmas is still a long way off.

Amanta paused, turned back and smiled gently.

"it is good."

……

After several small gatherings of three people, Draco felt more and more that Amanta was too outrageous.

No matter how many books he gave Amanta, she would be able to recite the contents of the book verbatim at the next gathering.

"Oh my god! You have a photographic memory. You must be a genius!"

Harry's exclamation revealed Draco's true thoughts - although he was somewhat reluctant to admit it.

Growing up, he had always been considered the most outstanding in their pure-blood family circle. In order not to bring shame to his father, he had always held himself to the most stringent standards for an heir.

Amanta just spread her hands and said innocently.

"I thought... well, everyone was like me."

She faced the murderous gazes of the two people in front of her, and after thinking for a while, she decided not to tell them. Perhaps this was the memory halo that came with being a cyborg.

Amanta's huge behavior also affected Harry and Draco.

They became unexpectedly studious.

Especially Draco, who has been staying in the family library these days, and even ate in a hurry. Lucius and Narcissa were quite proud of him and praised their son's hard work to everyone they met.

But to Amanta's regret, they were not allowed to use magic outside of school, so she was unable to put into practice what she had learned.

But there is one good thing -

The school starts next week.

Harry held up a ticket and examined it carefully.

"King's Cross Station, um, leaving at eleven o'clock, eh? Am I seeing that correctly?"

He turned the ticket with the classic platform printed on it over and over again to make sure he was not mistaken.

"Platform nine and three quarters? Amanta, Draco, do you know what platform this is?"

"Oh Harry, you are indeed a little ignorant. The ticket gate between platforms nine and ten - there is a wall, you just walk straight in." Draco replied.

"Walk into what? That wall?"

Once again, Harry felt his own ignorance.

Fortunately, Draco had gotten used to his questions over the days.

"Of course, if you haven't gone there, just wait for us there."

……

Fortunately, a week later, as Amanda walked into Platform Nine and Three Quarters at King's Cross Station, she saw Harry and Draco standing next to the crimson Hogwarts Express.

"Hey! Amanta! Look here!"

Harry waved at her excitedly, causing several senior students passing by to turn their heads and whisper.

"Look at that boy's excitement. He's exactly like you were in first grade."

"Oh, don't mention it. I still remember that you were so excited that you didn't sleep all night and insisted on getting everyone in the dormitory to dance flamenco all night long."

To prevent them from causing a bigger commotion after discovering Harry's identity, Amanta quickly dragged her luggage cart towards the two of them.

"Harry! Draco! You guys arrived so early?"

Amanta paused, breathless.

It took her quite a while to get here by subway and bus.

"I... I was so excited that I asked the Dursleys to drive me here early in the morning. 'Wake up, there's no Platform Nine and Three-Quarters,' Uncle Vernon said, and they all laughed and wanted to see me embarrassed, but guess what they saw?"

Harry paused.

"I saw Draco before I got off the car. He was with his parents. I quickly shouted his name and ran over. You can't imagine Uncle Vernon's expression. His face turned red like liver. Hahahaha..."

"Okay, it's time for us to get on the bus. Let's get on early and find a good seat."

Draco interrupted Harry's chatter with a cold face.

They dragged their luggage through small groups of students gathered together, and finally found an empty compartment near the rear of the car.

"call……"

The three of them breathed a sigh of relief at the same time.

Amanta put down the suitcase, closed the compartment door, and took out her wand to play with it in her hand.

"Fortunately, no one has discovered that Harry is here so far." She sighed with lingering fear.

God knows how worried she was as she passed by that group of jumping underclassmen.

"If that happens, I can't imagine it. This place will probably become an animal exhibition room."

Draco snorted through his nose.

"Am I... really that famous?"

Harry still found it a little surprising that he was so famous.
