Harry Potter: Glory Bows to Me

"Yes, of course we do, Mr. Minister."

Amanta greeted politely.

The bartender reappeared with a tray of naan and tea, which he placed on the table between them, and left the room, closing the door behind him.

"Ah," said Fudge, pouring out his tea. "Harry, you've got us in such a rush, escaping from your aunt and uncle's house like this! I thought... did you watch the news, Harry?"

"No," Harry answered honestly, "They don't let me get any information about the wizarding world, including the news."

"check it out."

Fudge handed over a newspaper.

It was a copy of the Daily Prophet, and in the middle of the front page was a large photograph of a gaunt man with long, messy hair, blinking at them.

Harry held the newspaper out to the candlelight and began to read with Amanta.

- Following the infamous Barty Jr. prison break, Azkaban has experienced another extremely serious prison break. The Ministry of Magic has confirmed today that Sirius Black is still at large, one of Azkaban Prison's most evil prisoners.

- "We are doing everything we can to bring Sirius Black back to justice," said Minister for Magic Cornelius Fudge this morning. "We implore the wizarding community to remain calm."

- As everyone knows, Black killed thirteen people with a spell twelve years ago, and the wizarding world was once again in a panic, fearing that such a massacre would happen again.

Amanta looked closely at the picture of Sirius above.

Years of imprisonment had destroyed some of this man's handsomeness. His face was haggard and his eyes were gloomy, making him look like a vampire.

"He killed thirteen people?" Harry handed the paper back to Fudge. "With just one spell?"

"That's right. He killed thirteen people in broad daylight, in full view of everyone, even though twelve of them were Muggles." Fudge said solemnly, "He was a strong supporter of the You-Know-Who."

Harry's face turned pale.

"Like him... this Black, I have violated wizard law. Am I also going to Azkaban?"

"Pfft." Fudge choked on his tea and coughed several times.

"Just because you inflated your aunt? Don't worry, the Ministry of Magic will not punish you for such a small matter, let alone send you to Azkaban. This is just an accident!" Fudge said loudly.

"Really?" Harry had an incredible expression on his face.

"Of course, don't worry, kid."

Fudge picked up a piece of toast, spread a little butter on it, then pushed the plate to them, and Amanta picked up one as well.

"We have dealt with the accident of inflating Miss Marge Dursley. Two members of the Incident Reversal Team were sent to Privet Drive last night. They deflated Miss Dursley and altered her memory. That's it. Nothing happened anymore."

Fudge smiled at them kindly, without a trace of unhappiness on his face, just like a kind grandfather looking at his favorite grandchildren.

Harry opened his mouth, and it was obvious that he was still a little worried.

"Ah, are you worried about your aunt and uncle?" Fudge said, "I can't deny that they are very angry, but after our negotiation, they still agreed that you can go back for the summer vacation next year, as long as you spend Easter and Christmas at Hogwarts."

"I've always spent Christmas and Easter at Hogwarts and Malfoy Manor, and... I never want to go back to Privet Drive again," said Harry dejectedly.

"Well, I believe you won't think so once you calm down." Fudge said in a worried tone, "After all, they are all your relatives."
