Harry Potter: Glory Bows to Me

Chapter 146 Harry's Godfather Sirius

Even though Harry didn't agree with Fudge's words, he reluctantly accepted this reality.

"Okay... then, you really won't punish me for this?"

He asked again worriedly.

Fudge was getting impatient. He waved his crumpet and said loudly, "Of course it was an accident! Don't you believe me? Harry, do you want to be expelled?"

"Of course not!" Harry replied immediately.

"That's it. Why do you bother about it? It's settled. Now, you and Amanta have some toast, and I'll see if Tom has any room for you."

"That's right." Amanta took over, "I have no objection to your arrangement, but I wrote to Draco Malfoy a while ago. If they agree, Harry can live in Malfoy Manor for a while."

"Oh… Malfoy, that's even better."

Fudge smiled briskly and strode out of the cell.

As soon as Fudge left the room, Harry leaned close to Amanta and whispered, "Don't you think this is very strange? If this is really a trivial matter as he said, then why would the Minister of Magic personally get involved in dealing with it..."

"Of course, this is no small matter," Amanta said in the same low voice, "Have you forgotten the newspaper he showed us?"

"It says Sirius Black who escaped from Azkaban? To be honest, I don't understand why - he is a murderer, but what does it have to do with me bragging about Aunt Marge?" Harry asked puzzled.

"Harry, what Fudge and the newspaper said is that when Black was trying to catch someone who revealed the Potters' address, he massacred twelve Muggles and one wizard, but this is different from what we know."

"What? What's different?" Harry asked.

"Because the wizard that everyone is talking about, Peter Pettigrew, was the one who made a golden snitch into a portkey and kidnapped me and Gryffindor's Seeker, Sparlow, in my first year."

Amanta looked at Harry's horrified eyes and continued, "Everyone said that when Peter Pettigrew died... he only had one finger left. And the Peter I saw that day was missing just one finger."

She thought about it and decided not to tell Harry about Fudge's original intention.

After all, Fudge believed that Black was a murderer, and all the Ministry of Magic did nervously was worrying that Black would escape from Azkaban, and the first thing they wanted to do was to assassinate Harry.

And if she told Harry clearly what Fudge meant.

That would surely make Harry misunderstand the only relative he had now - his godfather, which was really cruel.

Harry immediately whispered, "Amanta, what you mean is... Peter Pettigrew faked his death. No, Peter Pettigrew was the follower of the mysterious man, and Sirius Black was just innocently bearing the crime that originally belonged to Peter?"

"Yes." Amanta nodded. "Although I can't be sure, but judging from the current clues and intuition, I think so."

Harry's mouth suddenly dropped open.

"Then he...then he must hate me very much. After all, he has been in prison for so many years for no reason because of my family, so...Fudge thinks he wants to seek revenge on me?"

Amanta rubbed her brows with a headache.

Harry's train of thought is sometimes similar to Dobby's, which is a bit strange.

"Harry, if he is really like what I said, he will only hate Voldemort and Peter Pettigrew, not you. After all... he is your godfather." She whispered mysteriously.

"What? My godfather?" Harry's expression suddenly became surprised, and soon he became a little happy, but he still asked, "Wait, Amanta...you, how did you know?"

"Hagrid told me." Amanta made up a story. "He also believed that it was Black who told Voldemort the address of the Potters. He never mentioned it to you because he was worried that you would be too sad to know it."
