Harry Potter: Glory Bows to Me

Chapter 241 Touching Reunion of Godfather and Son

Sirius's clothes were tattered and covered in dust and blood.

He glanced at Harry who was standing there, and a tired and complicated smile appeared on the corner of his mouth.

"Black?!" Cedric shouted, his eyes alert and his wand pointed at him.

Harry's hand clenched around his wand involuntarily, his fingertips trembling slightly.

"Sirius Black, it's you...it's you who killed my parents!"

His hand holding the wand was shaking a little, his forehead was covered with cold sweat, and his eyes were fixed on Sirius: "You killed them, you killed my parents, right!"

His voice was almost a roar, filled with uncontrollable anger and sadness.

Sirius was stunned, his eyes full of pain.

Before he could speak, Snape's voice sounded from behind the three of them.

"What a touching reunion between godfather and son," his voice was as smooth as venom, "Oh... Speaking of which, why isn't my dear godson Draco here this time?"

Snape raised his wand and a barrier appeared between Harry and Sirius.

Harry gasped, his eyes full of hostility.

"Professor! It's Black! He...is a fugitive from Azkaban!"

"Stop, you ignorant brat!" Snape glanced at him, then said coldly to Sirius, "Well, for Harry's sake, explain yourself, or I will send you back to Azkaban immediately."

Sirius stared at Harry's cheeks, which were twitching with anger, and finally spoke in a hoarse voice.

"Harry, I did not betray your parents."

A trace of pain passed across his face and he raised his hands to show that he was harmless.

"I know you won't believe it, Harry, but I was framed! The real traitor is Peter Pettigrew, who betrayed your parents!"

"Lie!" Harry interrupted sharply, veins throbbing in his forehead. "Everyone...everyone said it was you! Even the Daily Prophet said it was you who leaked my parents' whereabouts!"

"Yes, Sirius," Snape's deep voice suddenly sounded, with a sarcastic coldness, "You have enough reasons to make everyone believe that you are a criminal.

"Unfortunately, nothing is absolute in this world." He narrowed his eyes and glanced at Harry and Sirius. "Harry, you'd better shut up and listen to his explanation. Otherwise, when you kill him and find out the truth, you will regret it."

Harry was startled, a hint of hesitation flashed across his eyes, but he still held his wand tightly, stubbornly.

"Then you should explain it clearly!"

Sirius took a deep breath and clenched his fists, as if trying hard to control his emotions.

"I have never betrayed James and Lily, Harry. I am your godfather, how could I sell out my godson? ... The secret keeper back then was Peter, because he looked even less noticeable - he was simply an inconspicuous little mouse, and no one would guess that he was the secret keeper!"

His voice was hoarse with emotion.

Harry was stunned. Peter Pettigrew had indeed become a Death Eater, but the Ministry of Magic had not yet traced his whereabouts. Since he appeared here two years ago, there has been no news of him.

There is no evidence to prove that Sirius Black was wrongly accused.

Sirius continued, "But who knew that the villain betrayed us? He secretly defected to Voldemort and gave James and Lily's hiding place to him... and finally escaped with a little finger. And all the evidence pointed to me, because I was still alive at the time - the only one who knew this secret."
