Harry Potter: Glory Bows to Me

Chapter 3: The Plan to Kidnap the Savior

Seeing the innocent Harry taking the initiative, Amanta nodded and said, "Yes."

"Do you know which house you'll be sorted into?"

Harry asked curiously.

"Well... I'm not sure, but I think I'll go to Slytherin."

"Slytherin... didn't you say that some very bad wizards came from there?" Harry frowned.

If he remembered correctly, Amanta had just told him that many dark wizards came from Slytherin, and that Voldemort, who killed his parents, came from this house.

As if seeing through his thoughts, Amanta said calmly: "The real bad ones are the people, not the colleges. Every college has good people, bad people, and people who are neither good nor bad. If you are prejudiced against a college because of this, then what is the difference between you and Voldemort?"

Harry felt himself blushing, as if he were ashamed of what he had just thought.

"I'm sorry...I shouldn't have thought that. You're right."

But he was still a little confused: "Then why do you... think you will be in Slytherin?"

"I think Slytherin is suitable for people like me who are ambitious and want to become powerful."

"I think I have great ambitions. I want to change the current situation of Slytherin, change the prejudice of the world against Slytherin, and lead Slytherin back to the original intention of Salazar Slytherin to establish the college." Amanta's eyes sparkled.

Amanta paused, "There is another main reason."

Harry listened intently: "What is it?"

Amanta said seriously, "Because I like the green and silver of Slytherin."

"puff--"

Amanta had no idea what Harry was saying, but after he finished laughing, Harry put on a serious face and said to her, "Although I have no idea which house I will be assigned to in the future, but... I really hope to be assigned to the same house as you."

After saying this, Harry's face turned red. He looked at the sky that was about to darken on Privet Drive and got up from the swing in a panic.

"Sorry... I think I should go back. Aunt Petunia should ask me to fry bacon..."

Harry stammered, said goodbye to Amanta, and stumbled towards number 4 Privet Drive.

"I'll be waiting for you here tomorrow—"

Amanta shouted after him, but she wasn't sure if Harry heard her.

Fortunately, when Amanta arrived at Privet Drive the next day, she saw the boy in oversized clothes on the swing again.

For the next week, Amanta met with Harry at this place every day.

Amanta told Harry some common sense about the wizarding world, and Harry always blinked his emerald green eyes, listened attentively with a look of longing, and sometimes asked some questions that seemed a little funny to the wizard.

"Um... you mean that all wizards ride brooms, but... if they ride brooms, won't it hurt their butts?"

"Is it true that a wizard's camera can't take still pictures?"

"How does an owl know where to send letters?"

Sometimes Harry would be curious about Amanta.

"How did you know you were a wizard?"

"I'm sorry... I mean, you're an orphan like me, so how do you know so much about magic?"

“I read it all in books.”

Amanta could lie without blushing or beating her heart.

But the good times didn't last long. On the Tuesday before Harry's birthday, Harry told Amanta something dejectedly.

"The letter I received from Hogwarts was burned by Uncle Vernon."

Amanta comforted him, "Don't worry, Hogwarts has plenty of solutions."

This statement greatly improved Harry's depressed mood. "You're right, they also know that I live in the cupboard."

On Friday, for the first time ever, Amanta did not see Harry waiting for her at the usual place.

Amanta sighed and walked along Privet Drive, pretending to pass by.

After walking a few steps, she saw a fat blond man standing on the ladder at the door of No. 4 Privet Drive. He was holding a big hammer in his hand and was trying to use wooden boards to completely nail the gap in his door.

The man seemed startled when he heard Amanta's footsteps passing by.

But once he saw that it was just a harmless little girl passing by, he continued what he was doing, mumbling something.

"Kids nowadays just like to run around. Where are their parents? I wouldn't feel comfortable letting a child wander around outside alone..."

Amanta looked up at the red face and said, "Thank you for your kindness, but I am an orphan."

"..."

Uncle Vernon was almost choked and could not speak. He waved his hand roughly: "Then go back to your orphanage."

Amanta looked to the second floor of the house behind him, and as expected, a boy with messy black hair was leaning against the window looking at her.

Harry's expression seemed to be shrouded in a cloud of sadness, but when he saw Amanta looking at him, he still forced a smile at her.

Amanta made a reassuring gesture and left.

If she remembered correctly, in the next few days, Harry's Uncle Vernon would be so devastated by the hundreds of letters flying out of the chimneys and fireplaces that he would drive his entire family around England to hide.

Until finally, on the night of Harry's birthday, when they were spending the night in a shabby house on the reef during a storm, the half-blood giant of Hogwarts, Hagrid, broke in personally with an admission letter and a homemade cake, and severely taught the Dursleys and their entire family a lesson, and even conjured a funny pig's tail for Dudley.

It’s a pity that I can’t see this scene with my own eyes.

Amanta shook her head regretfully.

It seems that I won't be able to see Harry before going to Diagon Alley to buy things.

However, after these few days of "brainwashing", Amanta was somewhat confident that she could trick Harry into Slytherin.

The next critical time node seems to be August 1st, which is the day to go to Diagon Alley to purchase the items needed for Hogwarts.

Amanta was thankful that, perhaps by coincidence, they were both scheduled to go shopping at Diagon Alley on the same day.

In the original world line, Harry met the talkative Draco Malfoy when buying school uniforms, and Draco's attempt to strike up a conversation with Harry obviously backfired because of his low emotional intelligence -

This directly aroused Harry's disgust and made him hate Slytherin house even more.

Amanta's goal was to stop Draco from saying stupid, low EQ words before he opened his mouth.

Another lucky thing was that during this period, their shrewd and experienced old headmaster, Ossena, told Teacher Karina that all this was true when he saw the Hogwarts admission letter.

Dean Ossena also told Karina some things, such as that every ten years or so a child in their orphanage would receive an admission letter from Hogwarts, so she was no longer surprised.

God knows how wonderful the expression on Karina's face was when she told Amanta this.
