Harry Potter: Glory Bows to Me

Chapter 305 You were so sweet that day

The atmosphere of the cafe is relaxed and comfortable.

Amanta sipped her Earl Grey tea and thought about recent developments.

Harry put down the cake in his hand, wiped his mouth, and looked at Amanta with shining eyes.

"By the way, have you found a way to remove the Azure Eye? Haven't the Mermaids of the Black Lake urged you several times before? If you keep delaying, will they come to Hogwarts and come to settle accounts with you next semester?"

"If they can climb up to Hogwarts, I'd like to see it."

Amanta shrugged, put down the teacup, and her face darkened slightly.

"But I haven't really found a solution yet. I've looked up a lot of books, but they're just vague theories with almost no practical application."

Harry sighed and scratched his hair. "So... we're still not making any progress?"

"I guess so." Amanta spread out his palm, took out a fragment from the Sage's Ring and placed it on the table.

The fragment was covered with strange words and graphics, and emitted a faint blue light, making it seem like a broken map.

Draco stared at the fragment, his eyes slightly fixed: "Do you suspect that this thing is related to the Sage's Ring and the Blue Eye?"

"Maybe." Amanta frowned, and her fingertips slowly ran across the edge of the fragment. "It's the only thing left in the Sage's Ring, but it's badly damaged. I'm not sure if I can piece it together into a complete piece."

Draco pondered for a moment and suggested, "You can go to the Malfoy family library to check. My family has a rich collection of books on ancient magic. Maybe you can find relevant records."

Amanta glanced at him and nodded: "Good idea, I'll go check it out."

Harry suddenly had an idea and changed the subject: "By the way, Draco, where is your Dark Mark? Has it hurt recently? Has the pain gotten worse?"

Draco's expression changed slightly, and he took a sip of coffee to cover it up: "...still the same."

"Don't lie to me." Amanta glanced at him coldly and took out a few small bottles of light blue potion from the Sage's Ring. "Painkillers, don't be stubborn, remember to drink them."

Draco frowned, but still took the bottle and snorted: "You always meddle in other people's business."

"If you didn't keep hiding things, I wouldn't bother." Amanta glared at him.

Harry suddenly slammed the table again, breaking the dull atmosphere.

"I almost forgot! We're already in Diagon Alley! This is our first time shopping here during the summer vacation, and we can't just focus on studying these troublesome things!"

Draco glanced at him with disdain: "Harry, is eating and shopping the only thing you understand about summer vacation life?"

Harry nodded nonchalantly, "Yeah."

Amanta laughed: "...Okay, let's go for a walk."

The three of them walked out of the cafe and strolled through the bustling Diagon Alley.

The wonderful atmosphere here is completely different from the Muggle world. The streets are filled with a wide variety of magical goods, and some vendors are enthusiastically soliciting business. All kinds of wizards are walking around, discussing the latest magic books, potion materials and Quidditch events.

Harry dragged them all the way into the Diagon Alley branch of Honeydukes.

He excitedly shuttled between the shelves, looking for all kinds of strange-shaped candies like a little child.

"I want this!" Harry grabbed a large bag of exploding candy.

"And this!" He picked up a few more Bibi Multi-Flavor Beans.

He shook the Squeaky Mouse chocolate in his hand: "Oh, by the way, Amanta, do you want to try this--"

Amanta took a step back in disgust: "No, I don't want to eat anything that moves."

Draco snorted, "I won't touch such sweet and gross food."

Harry's eyes widened. "Really? Then who secretly ate my caramel apple last time?"

Draco's face froze, and then he said coldly: "Nonsense, I won't eat those sweet snacks of yours."

Amanta added silently: "No wonder, you were so sweet that day."

Draco: "..."

Second stop, the potion material store.

Amanta selected some advanced potion ingredients and bought a few new potion recipe books.

The shop owner enthusiastically recommended the ingredients of a new type of beauty potion to her. Amanta listened carefully, while Harry and Draco looked around boredly.

Harry picked up a bottle of color-changing potion and jokingly said, "Draco, don't you think you should try this? It can turn your platinum blonde hair pink."

Draco looked at him expressionlessly: "You want to die?"

Harry immediately put the potion back and pretended nothing had happened.

After they came out of the potion material shop, they passed by an exquisite magical jewelry store. The shop window was filled with all kinds of sparkling necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings.

Draco suddenly stopped for some reason.

"...Let's go in and take a look." He said casually.

Amanta raised an eyebrow: "Why are you buying jewelry again?"

"Humph, I just don't want you to buy some cheap jewelry." Draco walked in with pretentiousness.

Amanta followed with a smile.

Harry was about to go in together, but was stopped by Draco: "Harry, didn't you say you were going to buy food? Go ahead, bring me some honey lemon cake."

"..." Harry stared at him suspiciously, "Why are you chasing me away?"

"You're too noisy. It affects the taste." Draco said coldly.

Harry rolled his eyes, muttered "Draco's bad habit", and turned around to buy food with a serious face.

Draco took Amanta to pick out some accessories.

Finally, his eyes fell on an exquisite silver bracelet with a deep blue gem inlaid on it, which sparkled with a warm luster under the light.

"Try it." Draco picked up the bracelet and put it on her himself.

Amanta was stunned for a moment, looking down at his slender fingers fastening the chain buckle, and she felt a slightly cool touch on her wrist, and her heartbeat slightly disturbed.

“…It’s pretty.”

Draco commented in a low voice, his eyes a little evasive.

Amanta tilted her head slightly, looked at his profile, and curved her lips: "Thank you."

Draco coughed and turned his head away, the tips of his ears slightly red.

at this time--

"What are you doing?" Harry suddenly jumped out, holding a large bag of food in his hand, "Hey - why are you so close?!"

The two separated instantly.

Draco glared at Harry with a sullen face: "Harry, can't you come back later?!"

Harry finally reacted at this moment, revealing an expression of "Did I disturb something?", and then immediately changed his face to gossiping: "You two are not..."

Draco said coldly: "Shut up."

Amanta coughed lightly and adjusted her cuffs as if nothing had happened: "Let's go, it's time to go back."
