Harry Potter: Glory Bows to Me

Chapter 328: Shopping in Diagon Alley before school starts

Just as they were engrossed in their discussion, there was a sudden knock on the door.

The three of them looked at each other knowingly.

Several people put on a natural look, pretending to be just chatting casually.

Amanta immediately collected the map fragments, put them into the Sage's Ring, and waved her hand to remove the anti-eavesdropping magic.

Draco cleared his throat and called out, "Who?"

The door opened, and Julius leaned lazily against the door frame, his eyebrows slightly raised, looking at the three people in the room who pretended to be calm.

"It's me. Oh? So many people?"

"We're just chatting casually between friends, it's none of your business." Draco glared at him.

Julius straightened his clothes and walked in as if nothing had happened.

"It just so happens that I'm bored too, so you guys can get together here and chat. Do you mind adding someone?"

Draco's face instantly darkened: "We mind."

Harry's eyelids rolled up. "Could you please stop appearing so mysteriously? You're scarier than a ghost."

"Are you guys... discussing some little secret?" Julius didn't care, his eyes swept between the three of them, "How about adding me in?"

The three of them were silent.

There was silence in the room.

After a moment, Amanta spoke up: "We were talking about going to Diagon Alley for shopping before school starts."

Julius raised an eyebrow, "When are you planning on going?"

"The day after tomorrow, buy school supplies," said Amanta.

Julius' smile deepened. "It just so happens. Take me with you, after all, I have to go to school too."

Harry muttered quietly, "You really are relying on us."

Julius shrugged and smiled cheekily: "After all, you are my best friends."

All three of them felt a headache, but they couldn't refuse.

Amanta sighed softly.

There's another troublesome guy.

The next morning.

After breakfast, Amanta, Draco and Harry quietly slipped into the Malfoy family's private library.

The air is filled with the fragrance of books, and exquisitely carved wooden bookshelves stand tall everywhere. The gold foil on the spines of the books sparkles in the morning light.

"This place is almost more outrageous than the library at Hogwarts." Harry muttered, looking up at the bookshelf next to the crystal chandelier hanging above his head, "How many books do you Malfoys have hidden?"

"More than you think." Draco snorted arrogantly, moving between the bookshelves skillfully, "But not everyone can read it casually."

Amanta reached out and took out the piece of map fragment from the Sage's Ring and spread it out on the table next to her.

The three of them gathered around, their eyes serious.

Harry asked Amanta: "So, how do we find it?"

Amanta stood aside with her arms folded.

"Look for a map." She answered without hesitation, "All books about ancient relics and lost civilizations usually come with some ancient maps."

Draco took a few steps back and pulled open a hidden bookcase from his side, revealing a secret compartment where precious books were stored separately.

His fingers slid across a row of book spines, finally stopping on an ancient book with a thick black cover.

"History of the Migration of Subhuman Tribes".

He pulled out the book and handed it to Amanta: "This might be useful."

Amanta took it and turned the page.

The book records in detail the migration routes and settlements of the ancient mysterious subhuman tribes, and also comes with several maps.

They carefully compared the map fragments in the Sage's Ring.

"…Not exactly the same." Harry frowned. "Some points are too far off in position."

Amanta continued to look for the next map, her eyes quickly scanning the small dots.

There are already many points that can overlap.

If her guess was correct, it should be very close.

Her fingers paused suddenly.

More than ten pages later, a map marked with "ancient sacrificial site" suddenly appeared!

She held up the fragments and compared them for a moment.

This map is highly consistent with the clear part of the incomplete map in the Sage's Ring.

According to the markings...some altars are hidden deep at the bottom of lakes, some are located on top of mountains, and others are hidden in dense forests or deserts.

"Look, these places now seem to have... become Muggle cities?" Harry pointed at the map in disbelief.

Amanta's eyes flicked to where Harry was pointing.

Indeed, the names of several modern cities appear on the map, overlapping with ancient ruins.

"It seems that too much time has passed and some areas have been occupied by Muggles." She said thoughtfully.

Draco didn't say much, he just raised his hand and pulled -

Swish!

He decisively tore off the page of the map, folded it, and put it into his pocket.

Amanta raised an eyebrow: "You are quite decisive."

Draco raised his chin and said in an unquestionable tone: "We can't come up with any results in the next two days. We will analyze it carefully after school starts."

Harry's eyes widened: "You just ripped up the book like that?!"

Draco glanced at him and said calmly: "These are my books, you can use them however you want."

Harry opened his mouth, but finally chose to keep it shut.

Amanta looked at the fragments in her hand with a heavy gaze.

Sacrifice point...Gaunt coat of arms, perhaps this is the guidance of mother Livia.

"So, this map actually marks the locations of the altars of various subhuman tribes?" Harry couldn't help but ask, "Are their altars still there? What does this map in the Sage's Ring mean?"

"I don't know." Amanta said bluntly, "Each tribe has different beliefs and gods to worship. The only thing that is certain is..."

"These hidden tribes should be near the altar." She paused, and then said, "Some people are also looking for them - Voldemort needs their power."

The three of them looked at each other and understood each other tacitly.

On the last day before school started, the four of them gathered on time and prepared to go to Diagon Alley.

Amanta looked at the three people in front of her.

Draco was in high spirits, with his hair neatly combed; Harry looked sleepy, with his hair messy as if he had just rolled out of a hurricane; and Julius still had that calm and elegant smile on his face.

She couldn't help rubbing her brows and said, "Let's go. Come back early after shopping and don't cause any more trouble."

Harry perked up: "Today is our last free day, so of course we have to have fun!"

Draco snorted: "Shopping is an art, not just wandering around."

Julius looked at him meaningfully. "Are you planning to take advantage of the shopping opportunity to--?"

Draco remained calm: "You are meddling too much, Hoffman."

Julius smiled: "Really? We'll see."

Dobby Apparated them to Diagon Alley, where the street was already bustling with activity.

There were many shops, bustling with people, wizards of all kinds walking around, and many Hogwarts students and parents were busy buying items for the new school year.

"I haven't been here for a long time. This place is really great!" Harry said excitedly. His eyes turned around and instantly set his sights on a familiar store. "Hurry up, let's go to Zonko's Joke Shop first!"

Draco frowned, "Are you serious? We are here to buy necessities, not props for pranks."

"How can we start a new semester without prank props?" Harry turned around and grabbed Amanta's sleeve tightly, as if he had grabbed a savior.

Amanta laughed: "Go first, otherwise Harry will have to talk about this all the way."

Draco held his forehead with his hand: "It's up to you, I won't buy those childish things."

As soon as they stepped into Zonko's Joke Shop, Harry immediately rushed to the shelves, scanning the various joke products with shining eyes.

"Look at this! A quill that sprays water automatically!"

Harry waved the quill excitedly and accidentally triggered the mechanism. A stream of water spurted out from the tip of the pen and hit Draco's face accurately.

The air solidified instantly.

Harry jerked his hand away and looked at Draco fearfully.

Draco closed his eyes, his face was livid, and drops of water slid down his golden eyelashes.

"My new hair style..." He couldn't stand it any longer, raised his eyelids, and stared at Harry coldly, "Harry, you'd better have a reasonable explanation."

Julius calmly added, "It looks like the effect is good. It suits you well."

Draco looked at them viciously, his eyes seemed to want to cut Harry into pieces, so Harry had no choice but to look to Amanta for help.

Amanta coughed lightly, raised her hand and cast a drying spell: "Evaporate."

...That was a close call. I almost couldn’t hold back my laughter.

Harry breathed a sigh of relief and threw the pen back on the shelf: "Uh... let's go buy something else."

He rushed out in a flash.
