Harry Potter: Glory Bows to Me

Chapter 81 An unexpected encounter at the Pig's Head Bar

"That's terrible. I don't know how long Harry will be entangled by that guy. Fortunately, Cedric is here, so nothing should happen."

Amanta sighed.

"Okay, what do we do now? We go back to Honeydukes and wait for Godfather?" Draco suggested.

"it is good."

They went back to Honeydukes and took a look around. Honeydukes was only crowded with a bunch of Hogwarts students, who were leaning over the shelves discussing the new products that came out this month.

Amanta asked the landlady, Mrs. Froome, if she had seen Professor Snape, and Mrs. Froome said that she had not seen him since Snape left here in the morning.

"Godfather, this... seems like you really have forgotten about us."

Draco's expression was numb.

"I must write a letter to my father and tell him about this when I get back." He took a deep breath.

"Before Professor Snape remembers us, how about... we go there first?"

Amanta pointed in the direction of the Hogsmeade Post Office not far away.

"You're going to the post office? Who are you going to write to?" Draco looked at her suspiciously. "Don't you have Bertha? Although the owl in the post office might be faster, but--"

Just as Draco was about to start boasting, Amanta interrupted him.

"Not the Hogsmeade Post Office, the one behind it, the Hog's Head."

"The Hog's Head?" Draco asked in surprise. He looked around nervously to make sure that his godfather would not suddenly appear in a corner.

"Are you still thinking about that hooded man just now?"

Draco whispered in a voice that only the two of them could hear.

"You may be overly sensitive. I just recalled that Quirrell was also wearing a hood in the Forbidden Forest, but Quirrell was tall and thin, while the man just now was short and fat. It was obvious that they were not the same person."

"I don't know why, but I always feel like it's a little weird. Let's go check it out, okay? We have this anyway."

Amanta picked up the anti-curse brooch on her chest and showed it to Draco.

Draco thought about it and nodded reluctantly.

"Okay, let's go together - but if we don't get any valuable information, we'll run away."

He lowered his head and whispered in Amanta's ear: "I heard my father mention that place. It's not a good place. It's full of good and bad people. We'd better disguise ourselves."

He took out two pointed hats from his ring and two large scarves.

"Draco, you still have these?"

Amanta wondered.

Draco's fair cheeks were tinged with a faint red, but he quickly covered it with his scarf.

"Put it on. I just..." he whispered, "I bought too many clothes and other things."

Amanta shook her head. Judging from the way Draco had just entered the Fengya wizard clothing store and gone on a shopping spree, she felt that what he said was true.

She couldn't help but begin to suspect that Draco's family emblem ring was actually filled with clothes and various accessories.

They put on hats and covered their faces tightly with scarves, leaving only a pair of eyes exposed.

After turning into the small road next to the Hogsmeade Post Office, Amanta saw the small bar at the intersection after walking a few steps.

A tattered wooden sign with a bloodstained pig's head painted on it hung on a rusty bracket at the door.

Apart from that, the bar looked small, run-down, dirty and dark from the outside.

Draco's expression was full of disgust.

"Are we really going to go in here?"

Amanta raised her eyebrows. Even if there was nothing to gain here, it would be interesting to just watch Draco's expression.

Aberforth was not a neat freak - he single-handedly had his pub voted the dirtiest place in the world by Naughty Mouse.

"of course."

Draco clenched his jaw: "Okay, let's go in then."

He put on an expression of fearless defiance.

They slipped into the bar, and as soon as they opened the narrow wooden door, a strong smell of sheep rushed into their mouths and noses. Fortunately, Draco's scarf prevented Amanta from retching immediately.

The bar was extremely dark, and they realized that even the windows were covered with grime, preventing any light from entering the room.

They found a nearby table and sat down. A few dim candles were lit on the rough wooden table, barely illuminating the table.

A tall, thin old man with a gray beard and a strange look walked over.

Amanta knew who he was—Aberforth, the owner of the Hog's Head and Dumbledore's brother.

"Two whiskeys, please."

Before he could say anything, Draco acted like an adult and spoke in a gruff voice.

Aberforth paused and spoke rudely.

"Oh, underage wizards are not allowed to drink alcohol. The only thing you can drink here is milk. If you want to drink something else, I suggest you go somewhere else and don't come here to pretend to be mature."

Draco looked at him in disbelief. "What? This is your attitude as a boss? You—"

"Drink if you want, or leave if you don't want."

Aberforth did not back down.

Before Draco could grab his hat and start arguing with him, Amanda quickly said, "Okay, then milk."

After Aberforth left, Ammenta looked around.

But it was too dark here and I couldn't see anything. People who came here were all dressed very conservatively, let alone in this kind of light.

But soon, after her eyes gradually adjusted to the surrounding light, she saw a figure very similar to the man just now, and in front of him sat a tall man who was also wearing a hood.

Amanta felt that his figure was somewhat familiar. Before she could think about it, Aberforth came over with two cups of hot milk and placed them on the table in front of them.

only……

The cup is black and dirty.

If you didn't look at the color of the liquid from directly above, it would be hard to believe that this was a glass of milk.

Draco only had one side of his bottom resting on the chair - he didn't want any more of his body touching anything else in the room.

"This cup...I doubt it has been washed since it was bought."

He scratched the outside of the cup with the tip of his fingernail, and a deep scratch immediately appeared on it.

Draco's hands trembled. The truth was more terrifying than he had imagined.

"Such a thick dust...really..."

Amanta looked at the glass of milk with difficulty and found it difficult to drink it.

Draco rubbed his toes against the ground nervously.

"…The ground here always feels a little sticky? Is it my illusion? Why is this house built directly on the mud…"

"This...there seems to be accumulated dirt on the ground..." Amanta said tentatively.

Draco turned pale, raised his feet in panic, and collapsed: "I really don't want to stay here for a moment!"

"What are you doing?"

Snape appeared behind them, looking gloomy.
