The Charles Becomes a Wizard
Chapter 128: Rats and Werewolves
The entrance to the Shrieking Shack is located at the base of a lush Whomping Willow at the edge of the Forbidden Forest.
This was once the secret base of the four robbers, and it was also the place where they learned Animagus.
Years of disuse have made the furnishings in the Screaming Shack even more dilapidated and the ground is covered with a thick layer of dust.
Peter Pettigrew, who had turned into a mouse, was hit by Lupin's spell while fleeing in a panic, and turned into a short, fat, and somewhat wretched middle-aged man. His body fell forward due to inertia, leaving a long mark on the dirty floor. Before he could get up, he felt his back suddenly sink, and a large claw pressed his neck.
The beast's heavy breathing was so close that he couldn't help but tremble all over.
"Sirius!!!" Lupin spoke up in time to stop his friend who was about to take revenge on James Potter. "He must live!"
The dark-skinned dog glanced at Lupin, then slowly raised its head, its sharp fangs moving away from Peter Pettigrew's throat.
Lupin took two steps forward, grabbed Pettigrew's collar with one hand and lifted him up from the ground. Sirius instantly turned back into human form. Since he had no wand, he could only roar crazily.
"Kill him! Remus, quick, kill this traitor!"
"Sirius, we have to hand him over to the Ministry of Magic." Lupin put his wand against Pettigrew's neck.
"Remus!" Sirius anxiously turned around twice, suddenly raised his hands and grabbed his hair, "No, kill him! Kill him now to avenge James! He betrayed them, he is the culprit who killed James!"
The controlled Pettigrew trembled all over, perhaps because he had been a mouse for too long. He raised his hands to his mouth and looked at Lupin with a flattering face: "Oh, Remus my friend, please..."
"Sirius, he must be alive, at least now." Lupin had no intention of listening to Pettigrew's words. He moved his wand threateningly, and then looked at Sirius, who was full of murderous intent.
"Only if he is alive can you get everything you deserve. Sirius, you are Harry's godfather, don't you want to live well with Harry in the future?"
Sirius calmed down under Lupin's comfort, something flashed in his cloudy eyes, and then he agreed to Lupin's solution.
"No, Remus, we are friends, you can't!" Pettigrew began to struggle. He shouted loudly, hoping that the two people in front of him would be soft-hearted towards him because of their past friendship.
If the Ministry of Magic knew what he had done, he would definitely be sent to Azkaban!
He absolutely doesn't want it!
"If you have anything to say, go to the Ministry of Magic," Lupin used a tongue-locking curse to block all his pleas. "I think the Dementors will definitely not be stingy with giving you a kiss after you enter Azkaban."
Lupin and Sirius pulled Pettigrew on the left and right and stumbled out of the Shrieking Shack. Sirius was imagining a wonderful life with Harry in the future, but the dark clouds in the sky quietly dispersed, revealing a full moon like a silver plate behind...
"There shouldn't be anything else, right?" Charles, who was held in Sebastian's arms with one hand, yawned with his hand covering his mouth, and said boredly while looking at the backs of the three people.
Ever since Lupin and Sirius left the castle, the two of them had been lagging behind. They vaguely heard the confrontation in the Shrieking Shack. In Charles' opinion, this drama of feuding was extremely boring and the battle was not very exciting either. It was a real waste of his rest time.
"As long as Peter Pettigrew is sent to the Ministry of Magic, the charges against Mr. Black should be cleared." Sebastian stood on a high branch and looked down at the three small figures below.
"Didn't Mr. Snape come with them?"
The man didn't look like someone who would let Lupin and Sirius run around freely.
"Maybe something delayed you." Ciel leaned his head sleepily on Sebastian's shoulder.
It is now long past his usual bedtime and he can hardly keep his eyes open.
"Master."
"Ok?"
Sebastian lifted the boy in his arms up a bit: "It's easy to catch a cold if you sleep here."
"Long-winded."
The devil dressed in black tilted his head and looked at the boy who was squinting his eyes and looking a little impatient and smiled gently. Just as he was about to say something to keep him awake, a shrill wolf howl came from not far away.
"Remus!" followed by Sirius's scream.
Charles sat up straight, staring in amazement at Lupin's suddenly taller figure.
In the cold moonlight, one could see that Lupin's body was covered with thick hair. His face bulged forward, revealing a mouth full of sharp teeth. He raised his head high and howled loudly at the moon. In just a few seconds, he turned into a werewolf.
Before Ciel could react, Sirius, who had turned into a big dog again, was already fighting with the werewolf. The flying hair was mixed with the painful howls of the dog, and Peter Pettigrew had been left behind by the wolf and the dog.
"So, he is really a werewolf?" Charles swallowed.
He did have some doubts before, but he didn't expect that this guy was actually a werewolf!
No, what on earth was the headmaster thinking? Werewolves would lose their minds and become crazy every full moon night. Was it really okay to bring such a dangerous species into Hogwarts?
There are a lot of tender little wizards in the castle! If you really encounter a werewolf, it will be like being served food.
Sirius fought while running towards the depths of the Forbidden Forest, as if trying hard to keep the mad Lupin away from the castle, but it was obvious that his fighting ability was much weaker than that of the werewolf.
The werewolf bit the big black dog's soft belly, and then the werewolf shook his head hard, throwing the dog heavily onto the tree trunk. The big dog let out a miserable howl, and then slid silently along the tree trunk to the ground.
The werewolf who had defeated an opponent raised his head and sniffed, then suddenly looked in the direction of Ciel and Sebastian, his eyes flashing a faint green light in the dark night.
"Ah, Master." Sebastian's left hand with a white glove slightly tightened and hugged the boy sitting on his arm tighter. His voice was soft and there was a hint of smile.
"what?"
"It seems we have been discovered."
Ciel watched the werewolves that had reached the tree in a few leaps, and tried to hold back, but couldn't help but glared at Sebastian: "I saw it."
"Please hold my neck tightly, Master. If you fall, you will get hurt."
